  1. Again pick your verb. You keep talking about how McD should be gone yet admit he won’t be. Other than letting you blow off steam what sense does that make?
  2. I agree on the last drive. Not sure what they were thinking there. I keep saying let Josh be Josh; he should have just spiked it there. Don’t know if that was on him or the coaches.
  3. So you know McD isn’t getting fired yet post after post you demand it. That makes a ton of sense.
  4. You cry about not hitting passes over 20 yards. Hit Roberts right in the hands. Drops it. You are on record saying you would rather see the team pass for 300 and lose vs. win. You don’t care if the team wins or loses. You’d actually rather they lose to prove some bizarre point. That pretty much tells us all how seriously to take your posts.
  5. Ok. You can moan, complain, cry whatever. Pick your verb. Won’t change that McD ain’t going anywhere.
  6. You act is old and tired. He was not pathetic and you know it.
  7. As I said keep yelling all you want if it makes you feel better. He’s not going anywhere.
  8. Allen is going nowhere. You know that, I know that. So people need to quit saying he won’t. He is in his second season and shows ability to bring the team back in the fourth. Threw a lot of really good balls today. Still working on his reads, and needs to hit one deep ball to get the monkey off his back.
  9. 3 weeks ago people were calling him a coach if the year candidate. The one thing he should do is tell Daboll to get the ball in Singletary’s hands. You can yell all you want; this team is 6-3. Losing a close game isn’t cause to set the barn on fire.
  10. I counted 5 times today where I yelled hold onto the ball.
  11. Coaching. You have to get Singletary more touches.
  12. That’s nice. It’s not happening and you know it.
  13. 6-3. Lost a tough one today. The only game we truly stunk this year was Philly. i understand people get emotional after a loss. But the reality is this: Beane is going nowhere, McD is going nowhere. Allen is going nowhere. Daboll and McD need to have a heart to heart about using their young RB better. Some of your stuff is on point. Some not. But the plan is not failing because they lost a close game.
  14. Yeah he missed a couple long balls and that needs improvement. But I think at most 5% of passes are in the air more than 30 yards. Still, hitting McKensie would have been big. I say let Allen be Allen. Let him play the first three quarters the way he plays 4th quarters. And get Singletary the ball!
  15. Have to get your most dynamic guy more touched
  16. My point is we always have people that show up and comment only after a loss, and disappear after a win.
  17. I didn’t see a post from you all last week. Offense needed more yards. Defense let them score when they couldn’t. And the kicker missed 2FGs.
  18. Two missed FGs. Ballgame
  19. Ok boys, let’s matriculate the ball down the field!
  20. First time I got a 33. Then I had my assistant deflate my pencil so I could get a better grip while writing, and I got a 35.
  21. Maybe because it’s not game in and game out. Tough game against the Eagles. Tough first half last week, then a complete shut down in the second. And the other 6 games they weren’t gashed at all. Maybe you should quit making unsubstantiated generalizations.
  22. For those of us old enough to remember the AFL days, it has to be The Hit Heard Round The World.
  23. Boards like this should be for debate. Positive and negative views, praise and criticism should be welcome. I would hope folks would offer them with some rational basis and not just knee jerk reactions (like in the game threads. Some folks are overly positive about things, some the other way.
  24. Here's another interesting quote from the si article: The lack of NFL level offensive linemen and the return of the run game/running back—with all the fantasy football and rules being made to get points up and passing yardage up, there are not enough offensive tackles for 32 teams to have at least two NFL level starters to execute the passing game at an efficient enough level to win being a "passing, greatest show on turf" type of offense. Still have to run to win. The offensive minded coaches that know how to devise ways to run the ball with lesser talent in the offensive line or when their front line OL are out are the guys that give their guys the best chance to win.”
