The " fan " side of my brain always says the Bills have a shot at the division when it's week 1.....the logic side however, especially this year, knows the odds are > than 5%.....NE will dominate the division...and the conference.........Rooting for a Chiefs collapse for the pick of course.......and as others mentioned, it also helps in the WC race ....

They did...Carr...he won't be Jerry Rice, but he'll be Edelman 2.0.....as others have mentioned, can't believe he went undrafted...NE jump on that pretty quickly....Belichick is so good at having a back up to the back up....he got Carr to take over for Amendola most likely....this year, he'll take over Edelman instead....

23 TD passes.....6 TD runs.....don't know about interceptions...he's usually pretty good with those....less than 6 IMO.....

They have a better offense, a better defense and better coaches ....besides that, you're on to something....

They'll keep rolling like they always do.....Mitchell and Carr will pick up the slack.....They could win the division without Edelman, Amendola and a couple of their backs....that's how wide the gap is right now....if Brady stays up right....Cooks, Gronk, Allen, White, Burkhead and Gilly are plenty to steam roll the East....plus, their defense is pretty good....

Good DL, bad DBs...we'll end up in the 15-18 spot....we are facing lots of good QBs this year....bad time to have a weak secondary.....

Brady is almost done owning with the Bills....2-3 years max.....Rodgers has more years in front of him....I would not like to switch when we're so close to the end of our nightmare....

Front 7 should be good...worried about our CBs....

Oh, it's absolutely in the realm of possibility....but if we're honest here, he's showed no sign of slowing down...hell, he's been getting better the last 2-3 years....I don't think he's turning into Ryan Tannehill all of a sudden....the problem with Brady is even if he does decline...he'll most likely still be one of the best QB in the league.....and absolutely the best in the AFC East...

You mean the SB where he broke a crap load of records ?...Brady could toyed with our secondary if he was 48....we are in serious trouble back there.....facing Matt Ryan, D. Carr, P. Rivers, Brees and Brady 2X.....all those guys are most likely going to carve our secondary apart.....

I think the main reason you are/were so respected Shaw is because you don't flip out if someone disagree with you...you never demean the other posters and have an open mind about different opinions...at least, that's why I always read your stuff....I've disagreed with you a few time, but it generated good discussion without any name calling...unfortunately, it is now a rare thing on message boards... I completely agree with you regarding picks....we seem to expect that every pick will become a pro bowler.....But, it's because it's pretty much the only thing left for Bills fans to hold on to....with picks, at least, we have hope.....I'm sure most realize deep down that not all of them will end up being productive, but there's chance they will...

I'm staying with my 8-8.....even if 3-13 or 4-12 is better for the long term, I can't stomach that type of season......

We are facing Brady 2X, Matt Ryan, Drew Brees, Derek Carr, Philip Rivers....not a good time to have secondary issues.....hell, Winston, Newton and Alex freaking Smith could have great stats vs our guys..... We'll need someone to step up big.....

I didn't think we'd make the playoffs this year and has us at 8-8...so overall, it was a necessary move ....I like that we are thinking long term....I don't remember the last Bills regime that actually did that.... It does take away some excitement away from 2017 however...but hopefully, it will pay off....
