I have an extra pair that’s gotten nothing but “nope” when offered to friends/fam. And that’s sad. I was a ‘no’ until the last possible day, after 15 years. Then I made a terrible emotional decision and renewed. Can honestly say I regret it.

It really wasn’t that terrible as long as the intent was a secondary logo. I had a connection at New Era and actually scored a cap with that logo on it. Wish I still had it, would be a nice little piece of trivia.

Seriously though, what is our identity as a franchise right now, fanbase excluded? “Football culture” is not an identity. Every team has some semblance of their own idea of “football culture”, fine, but what are we going for within that “culture”? All I see thus far is an ultra-conservative coach. What else stands out?

While I highly dislike all sports things Toronto, I feel like this is a no-brainer. Even if it’s just a preseason game. Also, they should do a Blue Jays regular season game/homestand at Coca-Cola field, now that there’s the official affiliation. 1/4 full RogerDome or a jam-packed Coca-Cola field for say a W/Th/F set in May? The aesthetic would be amazing.

Benjamin is a “take anything you can get” situation, imo. McCoy may have more value as we get closer to the deadline and injuries start to pile up for contenders. Might be able to turn the right situation into a 3rd or a pair of later round picks for his rental services. I’m definitely into moving both of them if we can.

Eh, $13 for a giant can of Crap Lite, no thanks no matter how they try to serve it. Went to get a ‘decent’ pint at the opener and the “lines for those aren’t working today”, in typical NeRF fashion. We eat plenty before and always have leftovers for postgame, so I never buy food inside the stadium either. They have definitely stepped the selections up though, but I’m still not buying.

Same, one actual bet ever. My brother’s “guy” came around the tailgate and I put $50 on over 43, Raiders @ Bills 2002. It was 7-0 end of first quarter, got a little ‘nervous’.... and I think the final was 49-31 Oakland. Took my $50 and retired on top!
