i'm with you. even if the bills managed to sneak into playoffs, then what? i'd love to break that streak, but they certainly wouldn't be competitive. on top of that, i think it's more than likely tyrod will be gone next year and there will be a new qb in town. there was going to be a shake up next year, playoffs or not.

fa will come if paid. i think most realize that this team is in need of a new qb, and there's going to be a lot of young talent on this team next year. it's going to take time. concerning the not owning it nonsense, that's fan stuff.

we do the traditional thing...two turkeys, on in the over and one deep fried, but we also have a mix of italian dishes and comfort foot. we'll have baked ziti, antipasta, an egg plant dish, then off to the side, homemade mac and cheese, twice baked potatoes, etc. my wife is always into making one or two signature drinks, but that tbd.

you have to admit scott, you do just B word for the sake of bitching. it's kinda your thing. this is what i'm clinging on to. this team is been a mess forever. i know people want an immediate turnaround, but it likely isn't going to work out that way. not that i want to see a disaster over the next couple of years. i'd expect this team to take focus over the next two year, and likely in year three, we start to see what's actually planned. it might not work out, but we're here for the ride whether people like it or not.

absolutely. this team just wasn't the good from the get go, (not that i knew that at the time) and it just ended up being a giant tease. fans aren't happy which is understandable, but it's really about the future, and hopefully securing a qb that can hold the position for a decade plus. then maybe this team can be build properly. this year was a big nothing.

i definitely allowed myself to get a bit excited. the jets game tempered me back. i didn't have any real predictions one way or the other in preseason because i just wasn't expecting too much.

call me crazy, but i at least want to see what happens with the draft, the off season, and next year before i crucify the bills. i enjoy the sabres, but i just don't watch enough to have a valid opinion about them. the pegulas want to win and are certainly willing to spend if needed. they just have to figure out management.

it's pretty obvious that you've never had to manage anything significant yet. it wasn't just about missing a meeting. it was about dareus's actions as a whole. you never just look at one incident, but when many incidents pile up, there's a problem there. if you ignore it, it can be bad for the entire team. if dareus was really coming on and buying in, why would he be shipped out? it's nothing more than an assumption on your part. when dareus signed the contract to receive quite a bit of money from the bills, he made a commitment that he never lived up to. he may in florida, but he didn't here. it's too bad. he's the only guy shipped out this season that i really feel will be missed.

what another bunch of nonsense from you. not once did i ever say that, and in fact, dareus was the last jersey i bought. i loved the guy for who he was, but he let everyone down. to your point, do you really think it "bothered" dareus. if something bothered me, i'd act more professional and at least show up to meetings on time. his actions certainly don't show that he was bothered by it at all, yet you want to give him a pass? don't put it on the coach either. dareus is a grown man who is being paid a lot of money. it's not a coaches job to baby sit the guy in the off season. should the coached moved in with him to make sure he doesn't fail drug tests? also, when was dareus buying into everything the coaches asked of him and playing great? show me, because it's completely made up. you just strike me as someone who constantly places blame on others for your own failures.

and i get why. what i don't get is why some people revel in it. on this board and with the bbmb, there were poster who literally wouldn't show up until after a loss. when they did show up, there was absolutely excitement in posting something as negative as they could. if the bills were able to string together a few wins, they were no where to be found. i just never understood that. i think the internet is more of a place that people come on to say what they really feel. most of the time, it's something they would never say face to face to someone else. the last thing i think of when i think of the internet is a "safe place".
