  1. i'm a bc guy, and i think the outlook is pretty bleak again this year. if they had been able to keep the team together, they likely would have been a preseason top 25. one kid went to the pros, and another transferred, (i think) so back to square one. right now i can't look beyond the beat down the football team is going to get from clemson this weekend.
  2. joe...you have to let your fiance know you're a dick before you get married. otherwise they get all bent out of shape when you suddenly "turn" into a dick well into the marriage. my wife knew she was marrying a d-bag, and now she's stuck with me. be a dick joe. be a dick.
  3. i'll record it and likely not watch it if that's the case.
  4. some one give this dream maker a medal.
  5. ok. pick up his option, and then what next year? you just think the bills should have paid him whatever? that seems to be the only point you have to make. pay him anything he wants for average production! right?! and i know your response to this...what about the bills wrs now? i get that the bills screwed that position up, but that still, in no way means they should have paid sammy whatever they wanted. he's not worth 16 mill a year...at all.
  6. so...is there a real possibility that allen plays?
  7. what? so you would have pain anything sammy wanted? if another team matched the bills offer, would sammy have stayed or moved on? i know you'll say the bills could have taken the 5th year option, but what after that? you really don't have an argument. his production isn't worth what he's paid. so andy reid over paid for sammy...so what? again, explain to me why the rams traded for him for a second, only to let him go, and use a first to replace him? oh let me guess...reid wanted him so it doesn't need explaining. if you can come up with an answer...great. otherwise this is just scott talk.
  8. what? what are you arguing here? just because he paid 16 mill a year doesn't mean he's elite. he's not. i'm still trying to figure out why the rams parted ways with him...and i don't think it's over 2 mill more a year.
  9. there's something very off here. just be ready for this girl to ruin something for you. it probably won't/hopefully be the wedding, but it's going to happen. my dad had a sister like this. she was just off, and any time someone had a positive going on in their life, she would make a scene and divert the attention back to herself. on the evening of my dad's prom, she ran away. his parents made him go look for her and miss most of the evening. she came hold from college, and made such a big stink about the new dog my dad had, that her parents put the dog in the pound. she even "attempted" suicide in my dad's room when he was studying for finals. he just shoved her outside and closed the door. he had to make the decision that his own sistser wasn't invited to his wedding because she would make a scene, and ruin it for my mom. i'm not saying this friend has this level of a problem, but some people need to create drama and make it about themselves. this is perfect.
  10. our new christmas tree was delivered to the house this morning.
  11. also, don't you think it's wildly strange that this girl's mother told her she couldn't go to the bachelorette party as a joke? and that the girl didn't figure it out immediately? my family loves to bust balls, but this just isn't a funny joke. she probably decided to not go, and once she found out she wouldn't be in the wedding, changed he mind. i assume she's just throwing her mother under the bus. i stand by my first thought. i'd be a dick.
  12. dude, tell this girl to ***** off. she's obviously an issue, and who really needs that. just be a dick. i've found it's so much easier to do that as you get older. too many times in my youth have i bit my tongue to keep the peace. now i just don't care. worst case scenario, you be mean to her, your fiance is ticked for a bit, but later happy because this girl is out of your life. i'd enjoy being mean to her.
  13. this is what far too many decide to go back to when the sammy argument comes up. the bills completely mishandled the wr position after sammy left, but that still doesn't mean getting a pick for a guy that was going to leave for 16 mill a year was a bad idea. how they followed up was bad. sammy is a guy that will help your team, but he isn't the game changer too many are trying to make him out to be.
  14. i'm not even being critical of sammy here, but i don't think some people realize the points they're making when quoting sammy's stats.
  15. that's nice. i'm just not sure why they gave him away after investing a second in him, only to give up a first to then replace him. i think i'd rather keep the first and give up the extra 2 mill a year.
  16. they really did seem to mishandle that, (although it didn't hurt them). why give up a second, and later a first to replace a wr? especially over 2 mill.
  17. why didn't the rams just pay the extra 2 million a year? would it have destroyed their cap? they invested a second in sammy, then spent a first to replace him...for 2 mill? a first? isn't that strange to you? i think a good, wr is very improtant to a young qb too. that's why i never understood why people were so angry the bills took him to help ej. he was in no way worth two firsts, but i understood why they did it.
  18. so...the rams traded a second for sammy in the first place, then used a first to replace him. why not just keep him? how much less is cooks making year than sammy?
  19. i'm sure, and the bills did it to themselves.
  20. just because the bills wrs are terrible, it does not mean that it's worth paying sammy 16 mill a year. he's good, but certainly not elite. i don't know why people can't separate the two.
  21. i've never paid any attention to sully or bucky, so i've never understood the anger towards them. at the same time, i don't think the pegulas shutting them out is petty either. guess what? actions have consequences. people just want to be able to spout off in any way they want, yet they expect no negative reaction. that's not how this world works. i have no idea what happened with these two and the pegulas, but if they consistently come off as condescending and rude, they might get blow back. it's more than ok to challenge the organization, but if you do it in a d-bag manner, expect that you may be treated in the same way back.
  22. i don't have any problem with this. i'm curious about allen. i was someone who didn't want him to play this year, but at the same time, i'm disappointed we can't watch any progression, or lack thereof.
  23. which i do agree with, but you have to take your shots.
  24. there really are. i specifically remember you saying that picking a qb was easy. which is it?
