  1. the wins are always fun, but i just want to see development of the young guys.
  2. rochester is 18th. looks like i'm getting a divorce, and going back on the market.
  3. we've all been there. i'm just don't with letting the bills get me angry. it wasn't even until the last 5-6 years that i've hit that point. it's much more "pleasant" to follow the team now.
  4. i'm 41 and i've seen all the same things. it's not worth getting upset over at all. i didn't even watch the last two games because of it, (i wish i saw the jets game though). being angry at the bills is a complete waste of time. once the sport isn't fun, just don't follow for a while. on top of that, we all knew it would be a down year. i certainly didn't know it was going to be this level of awful, but i do think it's temporary. at this point we know what the team is, and the posters who are constantly complaining are doing so because they simply love to B word. i'm waiting to see how this plays out into 2019. we're all too old to get angry about it.
  5. no one is arguing with you. the only arguments you get are because you repeatedly bring up the same topic, even when it isn't being discussed. and we all need to get over this absurd notion that people are blindly accepting mcdermott and staff. most are skeptical and want to see how this plays out. most of us are being adults about this, and would like to see improvements the off season before deciding love or hate for this new staff. if you like to think you're better than this than the bills...fine. if that props up you life to make you feel better, have at it. i personally never heard you once mention that you wanted mahomes. i sure did hear that you want bortles over and over again, so excuse me if i'm not impressed with your qb evaluation. i'm not sure anyone is.
  6. no is isn't. he's had 3 tds all year. he's being paid 16 million a year for 3 tds. that's shockingly overpaid. i have no idea why you kelvin. he's useless too, but it has nothing to do with sammy being overpaid. let me guess...sammy is a super high end decoy again? everyone let us know that the ram's offense would just fall apart when sammy left. guess what? id didn't. at all. sammy just isn't the contributor that some want to make him out to be. he's a good wr, but not worth what he's getting paid. oh snap. i should have just reposted this for scott. i know you won't absorb a word of this scott, but whether anyone want to believe it, this is/was the reality of this team. i jsut hope it works out in the end.
  7. so...what's the end game here? do you want us to all realize your football acumen? i'm just not sure why bringing something up again and again, even when it's not the topic of discussion, is helpful. i'm just not sure anyone cares. at the end of the day, when i think of the dude and football evaluations, all i remember is how you did the same nonsense with bortles. bortles this and bortles that. again and again.
  8. the way you propped him up, you were very wrong. he has a good game or two, and you think he's solid? do you think the jags feel they're good at the qb position? at some point posters need to move on from mahomes. continually bringing it up is just a sorry look. even if you liked him, who cares? he's on the chiefs, everyone has vented, be a big boy and move on already. you're like a jilted girlfriend.
  9. no you didn't. you thought blake bortles was going to storm the nfl and be the next great qb. you were certain of it. it's ok to be wrong on qbs, but please with this. just move on.
  10. no. i feel like you're just mailing it in here.
  11. i have a feeling this thread is going to anger some people.
  12. yet you complain that the bills overpaid for star. and the chiefs didn't slightly over pay for sammy. they way overpaid for him. 16 mill a year to be the 3rd wr is nuts. they'll come to that conclusion too.
  13. anytime a thread includes kissing/falling in love with hookers, i'm on board.
  14. Poor Nate. Peace and chicken grease.
  15. this is the truth for this situation. both could serve as a positive, but could work out poorly. if the staff doesn't feel that allen in both physically and mentally ready, then they have barkley ready to go. if allen is ready on both of these fronts, i can't see winning a few games with barkley being worth it. i do get both sides of the decision. either way i'd be fine with both of them going into camp next summer to compete for the starting spot.
  16. that's too bad. he had a long, productive life.
  17. it's only brought up by fans trying to create an issue where there isn't one. i don't care if someone has "faith" or not, but to assume it's how this staff picks it's team is just absurd.
  18. this is nonsense and completely untrue. prove it if you're going to throw it out there. drama.
  19. who on offense wasn't this staff able to evaluate other than the wrs? they know who is who with the ol and rbs. i'm willing to be they know which of the wrs will stay and go. whether allen plays should have nothing to do with anything other than evaluating allen. if the coaches think it's not his time...fine. otherwise this is all just made up concern. the fact that you expect allen to come in and play better because he's been out hurt, makes no sense to me. neither does the need to start a lame duck qb to figure out which wrs are good enough. i'm sure the staff has a pretty good understanding at this point.
  20. this is over blown. the only thing the qb is making more difficult to evaluate is wr, and i think we all know the state of the position. uh...other than he's a rookie and needs to play?
  21. and i don't agree with this. i don't expect allen to come in and light up the world just because he's sat hurt for a few weeks. it's nuts to think otherwise. what would be cause for concern would be if allen continues to play, and doesn't show any improvement during that time. he needs to play and learn. you are way over valuing this game with the jags. this season is over. it's time to see if allen can get better.
  22. i was all for sitting allen before the season, but that ship has sailed. if the coaches think this is best, fine, but he's going to have to get some game time under his belt. might as well be sooner rather than later.
