we actually had season tickets to the auditorium (plays and musicals) for a few years. there was a good balance though. 90% of the time she took her mom or one of her girlfriends. they'd go out to dinner and drinks, then to the show. i would have to go to 1 or 2 a year, which was do-able.

that's where i'm at with it. my wife doesn't have to like sports at all, (although she does get into the behind the scenes drama of it) and that's fine. i think i like 30% of the ***** she likes. just don't disturb or have a problem with something i enjoy. it's good to have some separate interests. you each go and do your own thing, and when it's time to hang out and give her the noise, everyone is in a bit better place.

choplifter was the balls. my other favorites were lode runner, wolfenstein, and a bad ass version of conan.

oh no doubt. the talent is there. he certainly could have a big year this year. i hope he does.

maybe, but does it matter? i was replaying to the poster who was blaming the bills for sammy's lack of production. it wasn't the bills fault. it's funny. when watkins was shipped out, the group of fans that understood/agreed with the move tended to do so due to lack of production, attitude and injury history. when injuries were brought up as a reason, the people who hated losing sammy screamed it was a straw man argument. now those same people are using injuries as an excuse for a lack of production, (not you allen). sammy, for all the talent in the world, just has not lived up to the type of wr that he should be. he's on his third team, the qb isn't an excuse, and he's still unproductive. injuries are certainly part of it, but we all know that the best ability is availability. this season is huge for him. if he doesn't show more production, we know what his career will be, and it's unimpressive. no more excuses for the guy. he has all the talent in the world, and i think he can put up big numbers, but seeing is believing.

that was definitely a sign of the times. my brother and i both lived with our now wives. it was tough for my old school catholic mom, but she got over it. we've always gotten along, but my wife and i had to feel some issues out when we first moved in together. it helped in the long run. and this is it. i knew i wanted kids, so marriage was part of the equation for me. if i didn't want a family, i'm not sure if i would have gotten married.

yeah...the married up vs down comments are particular. his motives are totally financial. that's not the whole of it. for many it depends on parenting philosophies, educational levels, material wants, interests. etc. there's a lot that can go into a marriage to make it good or bad. i just don't know how anyone can boil it down to one specific as he had. either one of two explanations to mac...either he's been burned very badly before, (most of us have) or he's just scared/non-understanding of women.

ehhhhh. i don't think this is the case at all. sammy has damaged sammy's career. he's been on two other teams with very high end qbs, and still hasn't produced. to blame that on the bills is very misplaced.

i've found that a simple donkey punch will fix a number of issues.

i think it's strange that were establishing which type of failure would be better. i get it, but it's a unique approach.

i'm guessing you think allen will never be a good qb?
