  1. the ones in boston are great. the have the boston pops playing in the background to add to the flavor. it's just one of those scenes that if you want to get a seat, you have to get there waaaaaay in advance. i think people would even start looking for spots days before. not sure if it's still the same way.
  2. i mean...if you're handing them out. that being said, if you're going to offer, don't half ass it. i expect it to be a full embrace.
  3. robocough. google that *****.
  4. i completely agree. balance is good, but the uber extremes are bad. i'm definitely more of a casual reader of this board, mostly because i like the entertainment, but also because i learn a lot from some of the more knowledgeable posters. that being said, i think there's something we've all realized from the uber negative side. there's such a shocking need to be correct. why...i have no idea, but it's like they just can't let themselves believe things may have actually changed. they may not have changed at all, but their constant message of anti-optimism isn't nearly as important as they think it is. i made the tongue and cheek comment that i found someone's posting to be depressing, and the first place that poster went was thinking that their message is so powerful, that it actually alters my mood. that just seems to be the way that group rolls. in this thread alone, i've seen some of these posters twist words, change arguments, and even lie for the sake of being right. i like to read all viewpoints...it's how we learn, but some posters have just shown not to be worth the time. not because of the message they push, but more because they're just plain unreasonable. i don't think it has anything to do with settling. it's just more the glasses some choose to view life through. exactly. there's a difference. i think most realize that the posters we're referring to aren't your typical poster that just leans towards the doubtful side. they like to lump themselves into that group, but they're easy to pick out. hell, you can't avoid them.
  5. is it really that hard to figure out. posters, and even more important, people like sotier tend to suck the life out of everything. put the bills aside for a minute. do you think someone like that is pleasant in real life? i guarantee they aren't. football is a game. the fact that someone has some much bitterness, angst and anger towards it is completely a downer to me. i'm sure it doesn't just end at football either, and that's sad. it has zero to do with his actual message.
  6. that's the only way i back out.
  7. i've been sitting in your driveway for 25.
  8. bills talk doesn't, but when sotier's fingers touch a keyboard, a kitten is murdered somewhere.
  9. not sure. i've always kept to cocaine.
  10. it's not that. it's more that your posting is terrible. if someone repeatedly came on here and said, "without a doubt, the bills are going to win the superbowl. allen is guaranteed to be the mvp, and the bills will be the number one offense!", i couldn't take them seriously. you're on the exact opposite end of it. everything you write and describe is so extraordinarily slanted to the bad, that you're not worth taking seriously either. there's no balance, there's no objective thought, there's no real reasoning. just anger and bitterness. it's not worth debating with you, nor is it worth taking the few seconds to read what your wrote. nothing about fluff, rainbows and unicorns as you like to describe. just total trash posting. see?
  11. the fact that you used these examples to describe you junk haunts me.
  12. i'm not gonna lie. i've just kinda stopped reading your stuff. it's just very, very depressing. take the bridge kind of depressing.
  13. want me to pick you up on the way?
  14. anyone know the address for pff? i'd like to go throw rocks at their building. maybe they work out of a small ranch house...i don't know.
  15. back in the day that would be a perma-ban.
  16. i've got your legendary right here, (pointing to my junk).
  17. i'll be taking the rest of the day to gather my thoughts.
  18. I agree about ranch. There’s a time and a place for it. I haven’t had pickle soup, but I’d dive into that head first. I had pickle popcorn this weekend. I’d like to buy a giant bag of it, and use it S a pillow so I could graze on it through out the night. Holy Christ!
  19. well, in my made up scenario, sammy was hurt and wasn't available for that play, ultimately couldn't help the bills win the game. see how that works? considering he was on two teams with superior qbs than the bills, and still didn't produce, it's kinda safe to say that his number likely wouldn't have been impressive.
  20. bacon ranch pizza is one of the greatest things around. edit: i'd also like to throw my new found love for pickle pizza out there.
  21. fair enough. and yes it is peculiar. the ones who have complained the most about sammy are absolutely the ones who leaning towards the side of constant drama and negativity. you are one of those posters. they're the same ones that refuse to admit that sammy has been nothing but a disappointment, and still lament letting sammy go wan't a mistake. the mistake was not properly replacing sammy. they tried but failed. still doesn't mean they should have paid sammy an absurd amount of cash for such little production. on top of that...let's be honest. if sammy was on this team with the numbers he put up, you're the exact type of poster who would be on her pounding the table how this team doesn't know how to spend.
