  1. don't you bring ted mcginley into this. don't you dare.
  2. my fear is that the moon will collide into the earth.
  3. this comment lead to a series of much greater comments. i'm going to try to one up ya. not only does my wife spend a ton on the haircut, but she likes to go out to dinner with her friends that night, because it's the, "best her hair will look".
  4. when tom brady tires to be funny or creative, it never seems to quite work out. not that he needs it to, but he should just stick to throwing the football.
  5. i heard this too with the talk of the new stadium. he was really defensive about bon jovi. weis is just dull. i want to fall asleep after listening to that guy.
  6. i have a feeling she smells particular.
  7. my daughter just turned 4, and we do the same with all dogs. she just at the point where she wants to pet everyone she sees, but she needs to know that not all dogs are like ours. some just don't want to be bothered. this is a really good post. certain breeds just need to be managed properly. this strikes me as the perfect way to handle the breed.
  8. a guy named kyle that drinks tons of monster energy?
  9. at this point, i'm assuming this is exactly what's going on too.
  10. oh...i have a feeling they're going to get good. i could see him being abducted at some point.
  11. i had one of those recently. i just want you to be alive long enough to get attacked by a pit bull.
  12. i need to help you slow your roll on the red meat.
  13. oh absolutely. it's all part of it. funny you mention dobermans and rots. my best friend has dobermans that i get excited to see, and my brother has a rotweiler that i completely trust my kids around. i probably should, but i don't carry nearly as much fear for them as i would a pit. I'm like gugny...i'm just nervous around pits, and now i get anxious that they pick up on it, which makes them more nervous, and more likely to react. the stories i've heard, (and you're right...the media loves to pump them up) are just too much, but on the same note, the stories exist for a reason. i think part of it too is the point of my life i'm living right now...small kids are present. we have a yellow lab the kids absolutely crawl all over, and all that dog does is give me a ***** you look, and takes it. he'll never bite, nor do i have a fear he will. i can't say the same about certain breeds, including more than just pits.
  14. i thought it was a good idea too. in fact, the moment they knew we were looking at dogs, it was the first thing they told us. not that you can't have good owners from the city limits, but that tends to be where the problems are. a couple of years ago a remember that 3 pits got loose, started roaming neighborhoods, and ultimately attacked a guy minding his own business. he lived but it was bad. a girl that worked next to me in grad school who had the same pit for year. i met the dog. very nice. well...he had a friend over and they were all sitting out the couch. the dog was being pet and bam...the dog just bit the friend in the face. never had an incident before, but the guy ended up with pretty bad scaring. there's just too many stories like that. i have no idea what appeal the breed has for people.
  15. i know pits that are very sweet. my wife's cousin has one, and i love the dog. that being said, i don't trust that dog or the breed. i make sure my kids aren't at face level with the dog, and i always make sure i have eyes on them around him. i know some people will come on here with some garbage about how they're as trustworthy as other breeds, and that's absolutely not true. too many times have i heard about these ***** snapping and going after someone unprovoked...even with good owners. it's tough to place blame on an entire breed, but i personally don't feel comfortable around them for the most part, and i love all dogs. our local human society won't let you adopt one if you have a city zip code, which is the only restriction i've come across. that and home owners insurance rates will go up if you own one, along with a few other breeds.
  16. i'd guess darien lake because it's one of the six flags in the area. it's been pretty comparable to the out of states ones that i've been to. seabreeze is the only other park i've been to on the list. i wouldn't come from out of the area to go there, but for the locals in rochester, it's great for the kids. decent rides and games, along with having a nice water park too. the crowd can get a bit gross, but i think there's now a new rule with how many kids there can be per adult.
  17. this thread turned into quite an abortion. nicely done.
  18. jeez sky...that's a lot. how does your gut feel. i'll probably take 2400-3200 by the end of the day, but that should hopefully only be for a few days.
  19. this is some middle school level drama right here. even includes the emoji. you have one of those emoji poop pillows on your bed...don't you?
  20. i'll put 800mg of anything in my rectum if it will make my back feel better.
  21. i'm up and down a ton here. i run 3 hygienists at once, i'm up at least 3-4 times every hour checking someone. our lab is down stairs, so i'm constantly down there as well. our new office is on one floor, but it will be about 2500 sq ft bigger, so the walking around continues. i make myself work out 3-4 times a week just to keep up. i have to. the winters here are annoying. the january to late march run have been especially bad for the last two years. i don't mind going out in the cold, but when it's dark and windy, it's a total waste of time. last year we had snow on the ground until late april for god's sake. it's too much.
  22. no joke. i threw out my back at 2:30 am today coughing. i didn't think i'd even be able to work today. thank god for massive doses of ibuprofen. check my previous post. both are happening.
  23. do you want me flipping desks?
