i don't quite have this take. i think people are expecting a bit too much a bit too fast. when beane and company took over 3 years ago, this team hadn't sniffed the post season in 17 years. by a miracle they made the playoffs in that year, only to have the "rebuild" start the following year, and since then there have positive strides. without looking, the blowouts decreased significantly from year two to year three. last year they were still relying a lot on first and second year guys. there were still questions about depth, etc. even the best teams have questions, but the bills are more rounded than they have been in years. i think you'll see those frustrating issues disappear a bit. i don't love the offensive philosophy either, but i think a lot of it has to do with developing allen. i think this staff when far out of their way not to ruin the kid, and so far so good. if this team doesn't take a leap, it will be on him.

we have a no political sign in the lawn policy at our house, but i'm going to look for one of these bad boys.

you don't need a time machine...just common sense. social media is just a new way for people to express their anger. back in the day you stuck someone with a spear, now you send out a nasty tweet. i'm not a social media guy, but i certainly see the value in it. it's just a tool like anything else. people who allow it to make them angry...well, they're just #######s.

i'm certainly more checked out than i usually am, and it's for the obvious reasons that others have already mentioned. limited news, no preseason games, no annual visit to training camp, etc. it just feels like it's not happening. i'm sure when next sunday rolls around at 1pm, all of that will change. you think extremely busy people don't have time to be angry? i missed this...

posting records to draw comparisons is always a tricky game. there were a couple posters on here last year doing that to compare mcd and gase. not a good look.

i saw this about a month ago, and though it was one of the better ways of dealing with no fans. it looked entertaining.

he definitely makes the qb room better, but that really wasn't a terribly hard thing to do. i don't think anyone feels he'll be a disaster (unless they're referring to attitude issues) but as you mentioned, it's unlikely that he's back to that mvp form that one poster wants to remind us of every few minutes. cam has just never made me nervous as a qb. he can beat you, but i'm far less concerned with the pats going forward with cam than i ever was with brady.

unless something goes seriously wrong, cam is the starter.

if money isn't the allure, this must be it. my wife was 23 when i met her and i was 32. it's not a wild age difference, but she appreciated that i was more stable, and getting beyond the going out multiple time a week, trying to hook up.

i suppose i understand this too. it may be better to have any man vs no man at all.
