  1. Well said. I think this is the most likely scenario. Like @TheyCallMeAndy said, classy move.
  2. No. Never. It’s just not worth it IMO. But I remember my dad almost getting into a couple different fights at Bills games when I was a kid (both times with other Bills fans). My sister and mom got harassed pretty bad by Bills fans at the stadium. Not a fight but throwing bottles, dumping beer on my sis, shoving her, etc. Full grown men. My sis was like 21 at the time. They were both scared to death (she’s a Patriots fan and was wearing a pats jersey. She hates bills fans now with a passion 😂)
  3. https://profootballtalk.nbcsports.com/2022/01/17/fmia-wild-card-weekend-nfl-playoffs-peter-king/ Thought this was pretty cool to read. There’s more good stuff from Peter king in the article. I always enjoy reading his FMIA articles.
  4. I think Tampa Bay would be the most satisfying to win against. Think about how amazing it would be to beat Kansas City, Tennessee and then Brady (Tampa Bay). Talk about the ultimate revenge tour! It would kind of be like therapy for the entire Buffalo fan base. Slay all those old demons. But having said that, give me the team Buffalo matches up best against and is most likely to beat! I just want a SB win, I don’t care how.
  5. https://www.boston.com/sports/new-england-patriots/2022/01/16/patriots-playoff-loss-bills-reaction-2021-season-future/ ‘After Saturday night, it’s plain as day that the division is no longer New England’s purview’ Oh, how I hope Josh Allen tortures the Patriots for the next 20 years like Brady did to the Bills the previous 20! It’s tough to put into words how much I’d love that 😂
  6. No. I don’t want either coordinator to leave. I’ve been a Bills fan long enough to recognize when we have a good thing going and I see no reason to hope/wish for new coordinators. Our offense and defense are both ranked at/near the top of the NFL. Why would anyone want new coordinators?
  7. This might be the most relaxing Bills playoff game I’ve ever watched. 😂
  8. Happy birthday! Hope it’s a good one, and includes a Bills win! 😁 🤞
  9. ... and they don’t have Dante Scarnecchia anymore to help make up for the loss.
  10. Tomorrow is going to be a long day. I’m already getting nervous thinking about the game! Not sure what I’ll do to keep busy until the 4:30pm game starts, but once it does I’ll watch that until the Bills/Pats game. I’m still not used to this playoff anxiety yet. This is the first season I’ve entered with legitimate super bowl hopes since the ‘90’s. I keep trying to ease my nerves (and prepare myself in case of disappointment, in true Buffalo fan fashion! 😂) by telling myself that we have Josh Allen now and we have many good years ahead of us because of that. I think Allen will give us a chance at the playoffs most years.
  11. And of course the Sabres win... just as we all expected right? 😂 seriously though, with Dell in net and the way Nashville had been playing I fully expected another game like against Tampa Bay, where the Sabres just looked outmatched all night long. But they played a really good game. Even Dell played well. Go figure... lol One thing I will say this year - despite their record looking similar to previous years, they’ve looked more competitive, and that’s with significantly less talent. They find ways to be competitive most nights. I’m not seeing guys moping and/or quitting either. I don’t see any of that “wow is me, here we go again” bull ****. They’re definitely better coached and young players seem to be developing. I think Granato has earned some time. I’m hoping the Sabres actually stick with him for a while.
  12. I’m glad Frazier didn’t get the Texans job and get screwed over like this. Seems like he has a chance at better openings this offseason. I hope he lands in the right spot (if he leaves).
  13. Wow. Culley got screwed. I was very skeptical about that hire at the time it was made but Culley did better than I thought he would. It was a pretty obvious tank year for the Texans but Culley still had them competitive in a lot of games. I think they overachieved for the talent level of the roster. I guess his firing makes some sense if they hire Flores, especially if it helps the Texans keep Watson. But Culley still got shafted.
  14. UPL is out week to week. Subban is our month to month. I think Tokarski is finally out of covid protocol but is apparently still dealing with lingering effects from covid so it doesn’t really sound like he’s close yet. Not sure if Anderson is done for the season or what. So they signed Houser to an NHL deal and are going to run with him and Dell for now. Yikes is right. It was already hard enough to win when they were getting good goaltending from UPL and average from Subban. We’ve already seen how ugly it can get with Dell in net and who knows with Houser but I don’t expect it to be much better than Dell. I pray it’s not worse...
  15. For those that want to hear the interview, I think this is it:
  16. Thats not at all how I remember things. The Sabres were the talk of the town the last time they were really good (‘05 and ‘06). Games were consistently sold out. Everyone wore Sabres merchandise and talked about the team. I mean, we invented the “playoff watch party” thing where fans gathered outside the arena in huge numbers to watch playoff games. It’s now a common thing in the NHL. Buffalo started that trend. Buffalo was always known as a good hockey town. We never really had attendance issues until recently. Even during the tank years. They were always consistently one of the highest rated hockey markets for tv viewership (usually #1). The last handful of seasons broke a lot of fans and it’s going to take the Sabres time to win them back. A lot of fans stopped watching games and aren’t going to tune back in for moral victories. They want actual wins and I can’t blame them. Ive been watching and do see improvements. But I’m still not 100% back in yet and Hockey has always been my #1 sport. I played for much of my life.
  17. https://www.si.com/nfl/2022/01/10/flores-firing-signals-bigger-issues-with-dolphins-organization Article comparing dolphins moved to the bills (using the bills as a standard for success 😁 )
  18. Was he? I thought I read he didn’t want Watson but you’d probably know the rumors better than me.
  19. Wow. I’m kind of shocked. I actually thought he seemed like a good coach. I wonder if Stephen Ross wants to swing for the fences (again) or if this was Grier’s decision. You know they’re hiring a coach who wants Watson... edit- I thought he didn’t, but apparently Flores wanted Watson. guess I had the rumor wrong. flores was actually a big reason Watson wanted to go to Miami... Ross also said in an interview that he has no plans to acquire Watson. Not sure I believe it though. https://www.nfl.com/news/dolphins-owner-stephen-ross-i-m-not-going-to-be-the-person-that-takes-jim-harbau
  20. Thanks! This is actually the first time any team but New England has won the AFCE back to back since Bill Belichick was hired in 2000. That’s an unbelievable run by NE that will likely never be matched. Not saying I think your run is over, just that going 21 years without losing the division 2 season in a row is incredible.
  21. The offense can’t get out of their own way. A few good plays? Let’s kill it with a 15yd personal foul and a horrible run call on 2nd and 15... 😡🤬
