  1. Yeah I just went back and watched and I think you’re right. I thought because Beasley had a red wristband + mask at his 1st training camp PC and Josh Allen had a blue wristband + no mask that maybe it meant Allen was vaccinated but you just killed that theory! 😂 Guess it was just wishful thinking on my part
  2. This actually gives me more hope that he is vaccinated. If he were unvaccinated and was anywhere around Trubisky at all, he would be deemed a high risk close contact and would have to stay away from the team for 5 days minimum. https://www.usatoday.com/story/sports/nfl/packers/2021/11/03/nfl-covid-rules-protocols-aaron-rodgers-unvaccinated-players/6270691001/ So either he wasn’t around Trubisky and Fromm and Gentry (seems somewhat unlikely), or he’s vaccinated. The fact that he was wearing a different color wrist band than Cole Beasley at training camp also makes me think he is vaccinated (teams designated vaccine status by wristband color at training camp, per NFL protocol).
  3. cant wait to listen to the interview. It’s been a while since we’ve had good players legitimately excited to be here. full interview: https://twitter.com/buffalosabres/status/1457027021641592841?s=21
  4. I find it rather hilarious that Aaron Rodgers called himself a “critical thinker” and then went on to talk about his beliefs in homeopathic medicine. Homeopaths take a natural substance, dilute it down so far with water or alcohol that literally no molecules of the original substance remain, then they “potentize” it, which basically means just shake/stir the water in a “special” way that they claim transfers “healing energies” to the plain water (that used to contain a natural substance (like onions, or herbs, etc)). Believing in that sounds like the opposite of critical thinking. If you apply critical thinking skills to homeopathy, you would no longer believe in it. By the criteria of modern evidence based medicine, homeopathy shouldn’t even be practiced. Its amazing how much my opinion of Aaron Rodgers has changed in just a few days time.
  5. I think Aaron Rodgers should start taking advise on NFL football from me. I have just as much relevant experience + training as Joe Rogan does with medicine/covid, if not more! 😁 I’ve never had any high level coaching or training or anything like that but so what! Do you know how many YouTube videos I’ve watched on football? Tons! So obviously my opinion should carry as much weight as his NFL coaches who have spent countless hours training in their profession.
  6. I get why they did it. The Eichel trade made it complicated to make any type of roster move without falling below the cap floor. It definitely helps Buffalo stay cap compliant. I guess I just didn’t like that this was an Eugene Melnyk/Ottawa style move to help circumvent the salary cap floor. The theme of this season definitely seems to be cheap payroll. I’d have rather seen them use the cap space as a trade asset or go after a player that can actually help them on the ice. But Kevyn Adams said he didn’t want to take a roster spot away from anyone currently on the team. I don’t exactly agree with him but I understand why he did it. Its really ho big deal though. It’s an inconsequential move. The Sabres still have tons of cap space and his contract expires at the end of the year anyway.

  8. 🖕 longer interview: he didn’t come off very well in this interview IMO. He had this interview set up before the trade happened and he makes it clear he was going to trash the Sabres. I’m sure the plan was to pressure them into making a trade. I don’t know how invested he ever was in this team. He makes it clear that he’s wanted out since before the 2020 season but I wonder if it goes back even farther than that. I remember back before the 2019 season Eichel’s agent made a comment to the media that “Jack Eichel will report to training camp” and all I could think at the time was “why in the world did that even have to be said? Was it in question that he would report...?” and From what Andrew Peters said on shred & Reagan this morning, Eichel never wanted to be here and was always miserable (about 10 minutes in). He pretty much trashed Eichel. Not sure I totally believe Peters but he was around the team/locker room. https://omny.fm/shows/the-shredd-ragan-show-daily-podcast/s-r-interview-andrew-peters-thursday-11-4-21?fbclid=IwAR2miSFdQ8ObwDt0MoLZ09I9Dl0stjAZoJgbstL4hOpqSZDt1bsOuxXTiKc For future considerations? Why do them a favor for free? I know Buffalo was dangerously close to the cap floor but still. We should have got a pick back or something.
  9. well, that’s one way to increase attendance... 😂
  10. I’m underwhelmed. I can’t believe it took this long to get that return. Why some team didn’t offer a deal like this (or better) long ago is beyond me. I guess teams really were scared by Eichel’s injury. But I can guarantee that there will be some GM’s wishing they would have beat this offer once Eichel is back on the ice. Tuch is a nice top 6 W if he can stay healthy (3rd year in a row he’s missed significant time). And he grew up a Sabres fan, so I’m sure that held value to Kevyn Adams (him wanting players that are “proud to wear the Jersey”). Krebs was VGK top prospect but he’s been struggling in the NHL this season. I really like him though. Definitely a nice piece to add. The 1st will be a late pick but this looks like it could be a deep draft (definitely deeper than last year). I was really hoping for at least 1 more big piece but it is what it is. Definitely less than what Eichel is worth, but clearly the injury hurt the return. No doubt Eichel is worth way more than this. I just pray Krebs turns into something good. If he doesn’t this trade will hurt for many years to come.
  11. Yes top 10 protected. not that it matters. LV has to be a cup favorite now.
  12. Curious of this myself. I have a few guesses but I’ll keep them to myself for now 😂 Whatever it was, it didn’t work... lol
  13. Why the heck was he allowed to violate the NFL covid protocols if the NFL knew he was unvaccinated?
  14. There is a difference. If you’re unvaccinated you have to be out a minimum of 10 days, even if you have no symptoms. If you’re vaccinated and have covid you can be back as quickly as 48 hours if you have no symptoms. If you do have symptoms you have to be symptom free for 48 hours and then have 2 negative covid tests. So in theory he could be back as soon as 4 days. But we now know he is unvaccinated, so it’ll be a minimum of 10 days.
  15. I’m seeing some reports that he’s out for 10 days. If that’s true, he’s 100% not vaccinated. That would bring up an awful lot of questions. Did he lie to the NFL about his vaccine status? Did he lie to the packers? If the packers knew he wasn’t vaccinated, did they lie to the NFL? Has the NFL known all along and been allowing him to break protocols?
  16. He can try to say he never said he was vaccinated but he was asked directly if he was vaccinated and he said “yes”. Did he ever have covid before now (I tried to Google it and couldn’t find anything saying he had covid before today)? If not I don’t even see how he could claim he just meant he was “immunized” from having covid before. Either he was straight up lying or Ian Rapoport is just assuming he’s unvaccinated because of how quickly he was ruled out, which was my first thought as well when I saw he was ruled out. Then I googled it and saw Rodgers claiming he was vaccinated. So now I am kind of waiting to see if Rapoport’s reporting is confirmed by the packers/Rodgers. The protocols are slightly different for vaccinated individuals that have symptoms. https://www.prideofdetroit.com/2021/9/6/22659357/2021-nfl-covid-19-protocols-rules-differences-between-vaccinated-unvaccinated-players they need to be symptom free for 48 hours and then return 2 negative tests. So if he is vaccinated and has symptoms, could that be why they ruled him out? (48 hours symptom free + 2 negative tests 48 hours apart = at least 4 days, if I’m understanding the protocol correctly)
  17. What rules? When Rodgers was asked if he was vaccinated he said yes. I was just wondering if he was lying. I wasn’t talking about NFL covid protocols.
  18. So was Rodgers straight up lying in the offseason then when he said he was vaccinated? https://www.cbs58.com/news/aaron-rodgers-announces-hes-been-vaccinated-but-not-going-to-judge-teammates-who-arent
  19. When Saleh heard Wilson went to work with his QB coach during the bye week I can understand why his first thought was “why not just bring John Beck here?” but I’m not sure I agree with his thinking. I could see if they replaced the QB coach on staff. But the way things stand I feel like this just creates a potential source of conflict. What are the chances these 2 QB coaches don’t see eye to eye on everything? What type of power dynamic does this create? What if they have conflicting views on how they want Wilson doing certain things? Then who does Wilson listen to? Who does the team/Saleh listen to? Robert Saleh said the plan as of now is for Beck to go back to his QB coaching business in the offseason but would Wilson be allowed to work with him? I feel like the NFL and/or other teams could take issue with that as a way for the Jets to work around the CBA to get Wilson more time with team coaches.
  20. Not sure if I buy this but I guess we should wait for the blood test results. Having been in a pretty severe accident before myself, I can attest to being very dazed and confused from the impact. The police came and I was so dazed from the impact that I couldn’t really even explain what had just happened in the accident. About the only thing I was able to tell the police was that she was driving very fast. My ears were ringing. My head was spinning. I had a hard time concentrating on anything being said to me. But I was up and moving/walking around outside the car and had to be talked into even being taken to the hospital. The lady who hit me ended up telling the cops some BS and I got a ticket for the accident even though she was speeding toward a red light and a line of stopped cars (100ft ahead of her) at a very high rate of speed. I had to fight it in court. I’m not saying I believe Rugg’s lawyer, just that I can see where the accident could have caused him to seem impaired. But I definitely question the way his lawyer worded that statement saying Ruggs “doesn’t believe” he was drunk. Why say “doesn’t believe” if Ruggs wasn’t drinking? Why not just say Ruggs wasn’t drinking? Maybe I’m just reading too much into the “doesn’t think” part of the statement, but it seems to me like it’s a good possibility that Ruggs was at least drinking but maybe he thinks he was above the legal limit? At the very least it sounds like he was driving very recklessly though. edit - yup he was drunk
  21. Bummer. I was really hoping for an upgrade at positions of need. The AFC seems pretty wide open this year. But we don’t know what type of deals were out there. So it’s hard to blame Beane for not making a move without knowing what moves (if any) he could have made.
  22. Seems like a nice trade for the jets. I’m guessing KC was mainly just clearing cap space?
  23. Well I guess now we know for sure what his Instagram post meant... lol
