  1. TO has dancing experience, already has the key to the city, needs a job, i"m just saying,
  2. Gone as in ejected? I hate it when that happens...
  3. With the new don't touch your head onto any part of another players body during a tackle rule, Hey, anythings possible...
  4. Or just wants to play the game...
  5. In the passing game I disagree, Not much to see at the NFL level yet , but in college A J McCarron showed his athleticismn/scrambling abilities on numerous occasions with a 5 to 1 TD to INT ratio throwing 77 TD's and only 15 INT's. Kid never takes his eyes off the football field and rarely does he give up on a play. The Buffalo Bills football nation is in for a pleasant surprise in my humble opinion.
  6. Point is, the unknown is hard to evaluate. So along with conceding we don't want Allen playing without sufficient protection, you made my point for me, thanks
  7. ...No apology necessary my friend...yup... the vocal minority barks the loudest... ...Myself personally... very optimistic ... ... anticipation... excitement... ...generated by Allen...(for me add McCarron) ...Awesome...
  8. The Bills are a work in progress and doom and gloom does not accurately describe how most people feel in my humble opinion. Cautious is probably a better description... (Allen/development)
  9. If the belief our Oline may or will not be good is deemed universal, (as you say), perhaps your post is odd and a little humorous. The unknown is not always good...
  10. The Oline protection is an important factor in any QB's ability to execute, just like the coaching/ system and the supporting cast. All question marks that will stay question marks until the Bills face real competition in the regular season. You get that right? that its not just Allen? and young QB prospects can learn bad habits when they lack adequate protection? Or struggle when the supporting cast is also learning a new O?
  11. I can understand taking this point of view and there is an argument to be made the ability to release a football traveling at over 70 mph (with accuracy) when needed makes the offense as a unit better. The problem is training camp and preseason is not the place to get an accurate evaluation IMO.
  12. ... Then I'll say it for you... ...McCarron is the expendable "guinea pig"... ...Peterman... ...guinea pig number 2... (Myself personally, McCarron is going to be one tough guinea pig)
  13. The drop off in production would be expected when comparing a seasoned vet/ borderline franchise QB with any QB taking his 1st NFL snaps in a regular season game IMO. Point taken...
  14. and heres the thing Cowgirl, football is a game of split second read and react/ bang, bang plays so when you start manipulating the game in a way that causes hesitation in an athlete that is accustomed to doing what comes natual players get hurt in my humble opinion.
  15. Happy 93 B- Day coach !
  16. Equipment upgrades are a better solution IMO. New safer helmet designs are hitting the market. Flexible shock absorber could be used at the back of the helmet area connecting to the shoulder pads to help prevent neck injury IMO.
  17. thanks for taking the time to explain and the haha was more to do with the rule then your explanation.( removed)
  18. A J McCarron's ceiling is still unknown at the NFL level and his college achievements are as good If not better then every QB in the 2018 draft class in my humble opinion.
  19. By dropping your face do you mean just leaning forward because the more parallel to the ground a player becomes which happens on every play the more impossible it becomes to keep your head up. I'll ask again and its a simple question. How is a player suppossed to dive forward to make a tackle and keep your head up? You can't answer it because it can't be done just like theres not a thing a defender can do when he goes to make a tackle and the ball carrier adjusts his flight path at the last second.
  20. yup, On a side note : A J had a 5 to 1 TD to INT ratio (77 TD, 15 INT) and a 162.5 combined QB rating in college.( 3 Championships ) Peterman TD to INT ratio 3 to 1, Allen 2 to 1
  21. Every tackle will be open to interpretation, To make matters worse the what could be unintentional penalty also gets players ejected.
  22. I agree, McCarron shows good pocket awareness/ moves well , but isn't looking to run the ball.
  23. Its practically impossible for a defender to make a tackle because his fool head gets in the way, I agree, the last thing football fans want is another way officials can control the outcome of a game. ( on every snap ) Tell me how a defender is supposed to dive forward and make a tackle the way you suggest
