I really like McCarron, but not drafting a high round QB from this coming up draft class would be grounds for the Beane mans dismissal and probably cause R Brandon to have a heart attack.
We know Sabans formula for winning football games is running the ball well and good D. (conservative approach)
Very much the same way McD wants to win football games.
McCarron fits the Bill...
I've watched enough of McCarron at the college level to get the impression he could at the very least manage and win football games with a good D at the pro level in my humble opinion.
I understand why A J's small body of work in the NFL has many Bills fans skeptical. On the other hand though I look at adding a young signal caller like McCarron as giving Buffalo not one, not two, but three possibilities to hit pay dirt along with Peterman and a high round rookie.
The 1st round QB has to win the job 1st and having a more experienced signal caller on your roster vs rookie helps the whole process of developing a rookie in my humble opinion.
Myself personally, Tyrod Taylor played with the lowest league reps in the passing game over the last 3 seasons and the whole Offense suffered because of it.
If the Browns want Taylor to take his game to the next level throw the football.
Something held our Buffalo Bill football team together when the heart and soul was ripped out of it with the loss of players like Marcell and Sammy. I think Tyrod deserves allot of credit for the way our football team stood united through the turmoil.
One Buffalo strong...
I understand,
being a bama fan I may have watched McCarron more then some, and I really like the kid, but I'm just another opinion,
and something I've learned to take less seriously over the years,
Lord knows I've been wrong before...
You can be to short or to tall in my humble opinion.
I believe big Brock has a hard time with both over throwing, trying to adjust, and under throwing.
I'm not saying the trade makes zero sense for the Browns organization because I think players will rally behind Taylor,
Myself personally though BAD I feel like Buffalo has gotten a good gauge on Taylors ceiling in the passing department. A J McCarron's ceiling on the other hand has not been determined at the pro level. So as a Brown or Bill fan my preference is to move forward with a QB that might become franchise be it draft or through FA.
If that makes any sense and with all due respect sir,
and while the 3rd round pick in and of itself doesn't always get the return you would want, the high round pick could be that extra bargaining power we need to get our guy...
Perhaps in ways he did challenge A Dalton eh,
I mean we never really know what goes on in the minds of the coaches and players until they make the switch.
Did you think McD would pull Taylor for Peterman?
At the Pro level, true that
I really liked how this kid played for the tide though 3rd, albeit I'm a fan.
accurate, always looking down field to make big plays, protects the football.
McD kind of guy in my humble opinion...
The driving force of 4 straight superbowl appearances, a man of great courage, faith and compassion.
We love you Jim... you can beat this...
...prayers...
...lots of prayers...
