  1. Not mobile, hmmmm Are we watching the same guy?
  2. A J has allot of big game experience at the college level and has always handled them like another day at the office IMO.
  3. I could be wrong , but thought Astro was a member of BBMB
  4. thetruthhurts sometimes... Consistency...
  5. Every 1st round draft selection at the QB position is unique in the style O that was run at the college level, the supporting cast, the caliber coaching, and opposition they faced IMO. Every rookie QB destination is also unique making it a case by case decision on the best course of action to follow by way of development in my humble opinion. My reservations of starting Josh Allen early on has much to do with Allens supporting cast/Oline protection Buffalo can provide combined with the new Offensive system installation.
  6. 3 QB's with less then a half dozen NFL starts combined, absolutely
  7. What I find interesting is what ESPN calls QB confidence rankings If I remember correctly has Buffalo ranked last in the NFL. Yet from a Bills fan perspective I'm of the impression the Buffalo Bills have done an outstanding job in an attempt to upgrade the position. Fan of all 3 signal callers...
  8. I'll even say 99.9%, but hey , who's counting thats not to say Josh Allen won't start writting his own book, breaking long ball records and becoming the next superman of the NFL. Step aside Cam... ...there's a new kid on the block...
  9. Amen and period to that John
  10. Awwww shucks, hate it when that happens...
  11. Jim machine gun Kelly was also of the gunslinger mold IMO.
  12. Allen is fearless when it comes to making any throw. I'm not hating it...
  13. The new coaching/ O installation along with the Oline reconstruction would make starting Josh Allen early on risky business in my humble opinion 26. Young QB's with sub par protection are more likely to develop bad habits IMO.
  14. Do you honestly think TC or preseason against vanilla Defenses is going to give Buffalo anything concrete to base an opinion?
  15. This helps make my point. Being a huge fan of the QB position and now our very own possible future superstar of the league in development my biggest concern is how well can we prepare, protect and support him which are 3 big question marks at this point IMO.
  16. Myself personally, I don't see Allen even in the mix to start day one of the regular season because regardless of what happens during TC and pre season live action in the regular season is impossible to duplicate. Different circumstances when Peterman was given his 1st chance to start whom is a very fast study and was still given TC, pre season and a good part of the regular season to learn a new O. Pure speculation, but its not happening in my humble opinion.
  17. The question may have come up between Allen and the coaching staff already IMO. Myself personally, If I'm HC McD I want Peterman and McCarron helping in Josh Allens development not competing against him. The only way to do that would be to eliminate Allen from the QB competition at this point IMO.
  18. The highest wonderlic score out of the QB class. The strongest arm out of the QB class. ( may have the strongest arm the NFL has ever seen) Big, athletic, courageous, calm under pressure. Shows good leadership abilities. Wins football games. Looked good with better talent around him at the Senior bowl. Sure it was a gamble, a roll of the dice, but If Buffalo wants to end the search for a franchise QB these are the kind of chances a team has to take IMO. There's allot to like about this kid in my humble opinion.
  19. The quality of a QB/teams Defense is a variable that plays a big part in everything the team does on Offense in my humble opinion. At the college level for instance and I'll use Alabama by way of example. It probably wouldn't matter how good the QB that starts for the tide looks in every possible category because when all is said and done he's a product of the system/s. Playing with a lead vs coming from behind changes how a QB and teams O operates and how the opposition defends them. Taylor played well with a lead, but not so well from behind when Buffalo was forced out of their comfort zone running the football.
  20. Hapless brings out the best in me.
  21. Nice post Hapless, guesswork anyone?
  22. So now my 80 year old mom has better access to Bills training camp notes then I do because I don't do friggin!#$@%#! facebook? How's Josh looking Ma?
  23. I don't mind the fire , but common sense might be telling me If I'm J A to watch how a more experienced QB like A J McCArron approaches the game of football at the NFL level and wait until the O as a unit is firing on all cylinders.
  24. sounds like Michael82 If I remember correctly, nothing beats Astro...
