  1. Difference between the two is Taylors ceiling in the passing game has been established, McCarron on the other hand has not. Both good game managers that protect the football IMO.
  2. Or possibly even better then anyone in the upcoming draft class. Funny after over a decade and a half of trying to find the next franchise many Bills fans are so certain our guy is waiting right around the corner they fail to see whats standing right in front of them. I get the excitement of a top 5 QB from the next draft class , but the top two will in all likelihood be gone and hanging your hat on more of an unknown then A J McCarron doesn't make much sense to me at this point in my humble opinion. albeit my opinion is tainted crimson...
  3. I think it also makes sense because theres no guarantee a rookie QB out of this or any draft class will succeed in the NFL. The Buffalo Bills have been searching since the days of J K. McCarron may have a higher ceiling which has yet to be determined. ( then available rookies )
  4. I just seen the same kind of comments on another thread. Allen is a project and McCarron wasn't brought here to be a place matt. Keep hearing over and over McCarron couldn't beat out A Dalton so how good could he be? I for one am glad we're about to find out...
  5. I'm really starting to like our new GM
  6. ...Beane is the man... ...Beane man...
  7. I agree, Signing McCarron does give the impression the Bills might be thinking project QB in Allen. I like it...
  8. Sweet home Alabama was playing on the radio, Popped back in to get an update and to my surprise
  9. Something way outside the box like jerking Tony Romo out of retirement and riding that broken pony until he drops. Yup
  10. Not because anyone here with any common sense likes 10 threads on the same subject matter. More because the few without any common sense refuse to continue an already ongoing discussion. thread starting trolls ...
  11. to give the Eagles a more attractive deal possibly, hmmmmmm
  12. Without 5 years in the league do you honestly think Tyrod Taylor comes into Buffalo, earns the start over higher round draft picks I might add, then holds it for 3 seasons? I don't think its happening...
  13. I disagree, 4 years in the league may not mean much to you , but McD on the other hand understands how this business works If you want good chemistry between veteran players and rookies who don't know squat about playing in the NFL in my humble opinion. with all due respect sir
  14. McCarron has enough confidence in himself so this approach might work If indeed the Bills have A J in their cross hairs.
  15. I'm really hoping the argument you present works on this kid, I don't know...
  16. New regime seems to have a knack of flying under the radar so perhaps theres still hope. The problem I see here is its hard for Buffalo to promise anything more then backup just like New England.
  17. So he says, At his age though he is one serious injury away from retirement in my humble opinion. Tom's been lucky...
  18. Its safe to say the body of work teams have to look at with McCarron in the NFL stinks.
  19. Cam... ...writting is on the wall... ...TSW...
  20. Any team other then the Pats I would agree with you Playing under BB with Brady close to retirement is a very good option for your career as a pro QB.
  21. What stinks would be having the !#@!%#@! piece of !$#@&%!!! Patriots swipe the best available signal caller out from underneath us when they don't even need a QB.
  22. I'm hoping so because the kid could take hold of his starting role for this New Era Bills football team and never look back. thats how good I think A J is...
  23. For that reason McCarron could play the waiting game and pass on Buffalo trying to low ball him. So this is a tricky sell for the Buffalo Bills in my humble opinion.
  24. New regime doesn't play, is something bigger in the works? silence from both camps...
  25. McCarron throws with more velocity, which is the knock on Peterman. If you like smart, athletic QB's I agree, they are similiar in many ways.
