  1. he got hurt on the punt return that he fumbled and never returned
  2. He has had some diversified looks in the kick return game all year they just haven't always popped Buccaneers also have terrible coverage unit... Realistically if you can't draw up a kick return scheme like this you shouldn't be an NFL special teams coordinator It was a massive bright spot though... Probably the best starting field position for the bills in a long time
  3. Listen I would like some more aggressiveness in the offense absolutely Give me a little bit of tempo too... But there might be a game in January where cook needs to run 21 times to win ... And Josh might only have 27 throws You're going to have to be able to do it every single way.. if you don't do it on the regular season you're not going to do it in the postseason... Can you win holding a team under 21? Can you win running without throwing good? Can you win throwing without running good? Can you have a game-winning drive? All of these things are something a Super bowl champion will have to answer.. and actually the bills have checked it off But I get what you're saying I do want the ball in Josh's hands more and I do want them to make him more comfortable with better offensive weapons
  4. Tom Brady won six Super bowls with complimentary football I wouldn't say it's a terrible strategy... Sean McDermott does not sign free agents or draft players... He literally gets the groceries and tries to cook them He does not bring in the ingredients... We've literally lost by a field goal back-to-back years to the Chiefs who went to the sb They're not that far off... No matter what anybody says... We also got them way more banged up in the playoffs We went in the arrowhead more banged up and lost by three... We are absolutely able to beat them Even if I want better wide receivers on the team.. this is a salary cap League.. I would not sacrifice our offensive line for flashy wide receivers andgive Allen the burrow treatment It means nothing to have those flashy toys when you're on your back and getting hurt all the time.. the best ability is availability.. and keeping our offensive line intact is more important than anything The Patriots won a couple Super bowls on field goals and another one on a goal line pick 6.. it's absolutely smart to care about all three phases ... Brady won Super bowl scoring 13, 24 ,and 20 Sometimes you need to win 24-20... Sometimes you need to win 38-35 Super bowl teams need to be able to win any style of game... The bills have shown they could win running.. they showed they could win throwing yesterday It's a long season and people get caught up in the ebbs and flows... Dalton Kincaid would be one of the most talented tight ends in the league if he stayed healthy
  5. In regards to the defensive holding Article 6 of the rule book clearly states that if player B1, pulls grabs or impedes a lineman, so player B2 can shoot the gap and block a kick or punt it is defensive holding I know it's a close call.. but from the rule book Alec Anderson clearly did impede the guy so Greg can make the block Player B1 help player B2 shoot the Gap by impeding a lineman... I would hope if that happened to the Buffalo Bills that they would also make that call It's different than say Alec Anderson bullying the lineman himself and jumping up and blocking it... Pulling or impeding the offensive lineman so your guy can shoot the Gap is not legal
  6. You're not allowed to grab or impede an offensive lineman to let someone pass If you grab them and twist their body position or grab them and shook them it's always been defensive holding .. impeding them has always been a penalty Otherwise defensive lineman could just grab offensive lineman and twist and manipulate them every play so linebackers can shoot in behind them
  7. But it shows the disrespect he has for Joshua Allen That he thinks he's better He's not better than any of the quarterbacks he listed
  8. https://www.si.com/college/oklahoma/football/sunday-offering-oklahoma-predicted-to-land-pair-of-major-2027-prospects-01ka7cgj3cew Looking to steal class of 27 edge and corner
  9. Beck gave you over 10 examples tho But you responded with sarcasm
  10. That's obviously noticeable but he has the right to his opinion
  11. Beane didn't draft tre or sign poyer and Hyde.. aren't you the one who told me yesterday he didn't sign poyer But I agree that he has hit on players and he does draft some solid guys We do have good football players I've always been the one here to push back that it's just Allen and a bunch of bums We don't have a lot of top five or top 10 guys at their positions tho.. it's a bunch of solid football players who have bought in Clearly beane does want that freakazoid on the D line because we have put a lot into it.. including draft picks It stinks that some of our best players.. Ed and Kincaid are always dinged up Ed does have blue chip talent.. and so does Dalton.. but my father always told me the best ability is availability
  12. He always has drafted lots of NFL caliber players We used to be the last stop for NFL players... Our cut draft picks or not re signed are usually picked up ... He has lots of guys on Rosters What he hasn't really drafted is much pro bowl type players ... Lots of good , not lots of great cole bishop is saying hello now.. I really liked the draft pick and he looks like the light is on
  13. Agreed on everything How he tracked the football on his scramble drill and caught it with his hands while shielding himself from a hit was everything you want to see
  14. I don't think anyone wants to see OU in the playoffs with their defense It's gonna cause problems for everyone
  15. Shavers can 100% be a late bloomer who the light is clicking with Allen He works hard , says the right things... Has size , deceptive speed... Run routes hard , works in scramble drill He was a big prospect down in Texas back in the day ... Started at Alabama Obviously became more known for his special teams.. but his receiver ability was there... The adage goes it always takes two to tango... Maybe he finally got his dancing partner Shavers ran a wind aided 4.38 in high school Was in the 4.5s pro day.. he does have good long speed
  16. It was phenomenal to see He's a hard tackle with a full head of steam.. he's got size on basically all those special teamers who are trying to clip at his ankles
  17. McDermott really is a whisper with defensive backs who buy in to him His mixture of football talent football IQ and athleticism I think is going to actually propel him past those two guys who were studs But we always said the sum of those two parts with poyer and hyde and how they grew with McDermott was a massive part for their success.. individually maybe not all pro caliber, playing besides each other they were a All-Pro Duo Cole is going to hit like poyer, runs faster than Micah, has hands , can jump... Individually he screams future high-end safety Sky is the limit with his age and athleticism and football IQ
  18. Dion does a hand chop when defensive ends over extend That is high leverage technique and those penalties are bs... Typically not called because it's not a penalty.. refs react when they just see someone on the ground You cannot and have never been allowed to grab a lineman and toss him to the ground though..or grab a lineman and hold him so other players can get through by you You can chop people away, as soon as you grab it's holding.. it's hard to find a replay.. but I don't think Alec Anderson did a pure hand chop he did grab it looked like There is a difference between swatting somebody's hands down and then taking them for a ride versus grabbing them down when they're overextending
  19. I hear that but he hasn't taken 1 to the house in 7 years I wouldn't say that's occasionally.. I would say it's happened before and not in almost 7 years
  20. Not going to lie that was the one thing I was worried about with hardman I've seen him cough some up with the Chiefs too including versus Us in the playoffs I'm pretty sure He occasionally has fumbleitis
  21. Better than poyer and Hyde when he reaches his peak
  22. His pro personnel acquisitions have been lacking ... There was a time when they hit with Beasley Brown diggs .. All were pro personnel acquisitions We brought poyer and hyde pro personnel acquisitions... We were bringing in guys who became pro bowl talents in our scheme... That just hasn't been so recently It doesn't help when back to back third round picks shelfed.. Landon lasted 2 series.. Dwayne Carter done Both were supposed to be a part of our rotation but are gone for the year... There's only so much you can overcome as a team especially when our front has been decimated
  23. I thought he faked tearing an ACL Fell on the ground and punched it with his hand
  24. I think the pass he air mailed over gilliam's head was just that It's routine layup that Josh probably makes 98 or 99 times out of 100... Curry misses foul shots occasionally I never really watched the replay but I think it was all arm I don't think his feet mechanically were in the best spot for the throw... And that can make it sail
