Warren Moon is an all-time quarterback And he never went to a super bowl my friend .. Dan Marino is better than Patrick mahomes and he went to one super bowl John elway didn't win one till he was on his last leg As someone who's been around this game for 30 plus years as a player coach and scout I can unequivocally say it takes luck as well as coaching and talent to win an even go to a super bowl The Buffalo Bills lost by three in Arrowhead last year without our two best secondary players.. and the worst spots I've ever seen in NFL officiating crew make... The NFL was sick about everybody saying how the Chiefs always get the flags and The crucial moment... So they held their flags and just moved the ball back 2-3 ft from the spot three or four times during the game in big moments High School refs aren't even that inept Josh Allen converted a clear quarterback sneak that they moved back half a yard and gave the Chiefs the ball back in their home field and we still lost by a field goal without our two best defensive backs When we played the Chiefs years ago without their two best defensive backs they made Gabe Davis look like Jerry Rice

If you buy one of those fire sticks and they're probably not that expensive you could plug them into a smart TV and get a whole bunch of channels and games Legality it's probably a gray area and I know you said you like to do it by the book If you got a fire stick and a Paramount Plus subscription you could probably watch local CBS games and some national Your antenna might not reach the local CBS but your Paramount Plus subscription probably would -
The thought that we have zero Big Time players is kind of ridiculous though buddy Dawkins is a blue chip tackle.. severely underrated and been one of the best in the business.. always on an island Spencer Brown is becoming one of the top right tackles in the world and is physically on a level different than 98% of them .. like give me Green Bay in the super bowl and a Spencer Brown vs parson's matchup.. and Brown will make him his ***** and physically Maul him James Cook is perfect for our system which makes him a big time player Christian Benford is a legitimate number one cornerback And we have other players on the rise and other players like Matt Milano who were previous all pros We have plenty of talent if we had Christian Benford for four quarters last year I truly believe we win because we lost by three and Elam got abused 2 years ago no Benford , no rapp and no Bernard with other contributors banged up or missing That is truly the difference.. we're getting big injuries the week before we play the Chiefs in playoffs.. an NFL team with eight weeks to work out the kinks can figure something out at the NFL level Losing two or three starters the week before a conference championship game or during the game is infinitely harder to make up

Just lost a back and forth -
I don't even think you're a bills fan lol and we have played the Chiefs severely handicapped every single year Not even with long-term injuries.. that we had 9 weeks to prepare for which there's no excuses for... Von Miller getting hurt week 8 irrelevant The last 2 years we have played the Chiefs completely handicapped on the defensive side of the ball with fresh injuries which in a game of inches in the playoffs where the talent margin is so slim is the difference Last year alone we had 11 players going into the game on injury report ... Lots of them key contributors... We ended up playing without our best safety and best cornerback and dinged up guys When we saw the Chiefs without two players in their secondary Gabe Davis looked like Jerry Rice... He literally was unstoppable and so was Josh Allen... Our injuries did not make their receivers look like Jerry Rice 2 years ago we got them without our starting middle linebacker and Captain. Christian Benford again.. Taylor rapp a contributing safety, and a couple other guys... With again a bunch of contributors banged up And we lost by three again If we have Terrell Bernard and Christian Benford we win that game.. if we had rapp and Benford last year we win We barely lost as is that's it we need to be healthy The talent margin is so slim you need to be healthy and lucky.. we've had none .. AKA refs spotting piss poor Josh Allen QB sneaks Tyler bass missing a field goal to tie Zero breaks
-
The fact you try to bring Kelce in this who is washed lol And using your argument 13 teams have a playoff exit and 31 don't win it... so 31 coaches and GMS are failures according to you lol You weren't right on anything
-
Chevy Chase lol I haven't heard that name in a while
-
While all of that is true.. Todd Haley got cassel after getting developed by belichick and company... He never even played a college snap! I do not think he would have had a long career if he did not wind up with Bill... Who knows how to maximize and develop ball players... a coach also has to keep the team mentally in the game when they're getting their butt whooped... Something the Patriots were able to do with Bill Cassell had his best statistical and av season with patriots in his 1 year starting
-
We're going to learn a lot this year about him I mean I'd like to think he has a lot of potential but he has to show he can call a big game... In essence we will find out
-
I mean he just got whooped in the super bowl... His defense couldn't stop a nosebleed We saw them with seven defensive players on the injury report going into Arrowhead... and lost our best corner during the game And we barely lost When they lost two starters in the secondary Gabe looked like Jerry Rice... Our defense has never made one of their receivers look like Jerry Rice no matter how banged up 2 years ago we were playing them without Bernard and Christian Benford.. Taylor rapp hurt... We had AJ Klein out there The margins are way too thin to be winning with AJ Klein on the field.. and we lost by a missed kick
-
Spagnola and McDermott have both been head coaches or defensive coordinators for 17 years McDermott basically outpaces him in every single statistic... Besides having a healthy defense in the playoffs which spagnola has He also gets the spotting of the refs lol I've never seen such bad spots in an NFL game like in AFC championship game... So when the Chiefs are not getting the calls they're getting the spots Spags also just got his ass beat in the super bowl.. give them access to all 32 teams... And let them coach all 32 defenses and see how they fare I'd be willing to put my entire bank account that Sean McDermott would have a better defense down the line McDermott absolutely is a better developer, and spagnola scheme is nothing unbeatable... Other coaches also praise McDermott for his scheme When they lost two players in their secondary gabe Davis looked like Jerry Rice... We're constantly seeing the Chiefs in the playoffs without two starters in the secondary... or a starting linebacker and a starting corner... And two other contributors.. we had seven defensive players on the injury report going in to our AFC championship game.. in a game of inches where the talent margin is very slim that's the difference I'd like to see spags playoffs down three or four defensive contributors... I guarantee you we will win by a lot more than what they have been beating us by
-
Absolutely... There was a time when it was 80% under center in the modern NFL It takes a different style QB to thrive in that offer compared to most 2025 NFL offenses... It did take 20 years but the NFL finally adjusted to the spread
-
The NFL is almost mostly shotgun now Like 70% of all snaps last year were shotgun.. People like Patrick mahomes never took one snap under center in their college career... The game has definitely just changed Most quarterbacks now are growing up in a spread compared to 25 years ago when they were still playing Wing t or something like that in high school
-
@Royale with Cheese I also think Bill belichick and Pete Carroll are completely different types of coaches Bill belichick is an authoritarian x's and o's scheme oriented coach Pete Carroll is the epitome of a player's coach.. who also creates a family environment like McDermott.. players want to play for him and they play very hard for him... He's a high energy guy even at his age He's strategically sound but I don't think anybody would ever call him an X's and O's guru he is a masterclass motivator, even world class .. and a great developer of talent Caroll is also one of the best football coaches of the last 40 years whether you're talking any level too he is greatness
-
He also won 11 games with Matt Cassle His defensive numbers are by far the best ever Carroll is a tremendous coach not knocking ... 15-20 years in any place and your message gets old Andy Reid just got blown out in a super bowl... Bill belichick never did and Bill belichick would have had that Chiefs team better prepared I truly believe Bill belichick is absolutely the greatest coach I've ever seen.. everybody loses their magic eventually I also don't think Pete Carol is a top five coach anymore.. Bill had one really bad last year in New England 10-7 8-9 with two not great rosters and his bad year... 7-10, 9-8-9-8 for Carrol with a better roster I think it's more who they were dealing with then straight up there coaching prowess Now I didn't think North Carolina was going to get blown out yesterday but I also don't think that's indicative on Bill belichick's 40 plus year career.. TCU was in the national championship game two years ago Gio Lopez was at South Alabama last year
-
Or a 73 year old coach is over his head lol Bill belichick was the youngest head coach in NFL history and absolutely a prodigy though... He has a track record through multiple organizations that is supreme He did go to the Playoffs with Mac Jones who is god-awful lol that is high level stuff Andy Reid isn't going to the playoffs with Mac Jones

Gabe Davis signing with the Bills (going to practice squad)
Buffalo716 replied to Dablitzkrieg's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well to be fair Gabe Davis was our number two wide receiver Now he's coming back at the practice squad.. that's not exactly the same opportunities.. he's probably better than 95% of practice squad wide receivers maybe 98%
