Joey Galloway had a thousand yards as a rookie in 1995... Marvin Harrison had 800 yards as a rookie in 1996... In 1998 Randy Moss had a 1300 yd as a rookie Eric moulds did take a long time to turn up.. started very slow

I still do see some potential in Coleman and think he could actually be a pretty good downfield threat if he cleans up inconsistencies A deep threat in the mold of a poor man's plaxico burress But yeah if we draft another 6'3 guy who runs in quicksand I'll be disappointed

Of course I would like more talent everywhere if possible For some reason I feel next year is going to be a wide receiver year for the bills.. The offensive line is built... Hopefully we should have two good outside corners... A revamped defensive line And we can focus on weapons

Football's not x + y = z We have stopped them in the last minute.. they have stopped us The only difference is theirs was in the playoffs.. that does not mean we cannot also do it in the playoffs 7 out of 10 times I truly believe Josh Allen will get it done with it on the line... The other team is getting paid too so they're professionals and they will get some stops.. unfortunately the last drive last year, and bass missing the field goal the year before didn't get it done I don't think Josh is going to play backseat the AFC for the rest of his career.. other quarterbacks have to win super bowls and he is too good and works too hard Tom Brady won a lot of super bowls with non Superstars at wide receiver.. he didn't even win with Randy Moss What I like pro bowlers everywhere at wide receiver? Sure.. is it a lot better than what Josh Allen inherited 8 years ago? Yes.. do I think we can win a super bowl with our team? Yes

You do win in the trenches... If we were scoring 21 points a game yeah for sure we would totally need to bolster it But we literally have one of the most high-powered offenses in the NFL.. I don't care who's lining up at The x y or z it's working .. we didn't score 22 in Arrowhead.. we scored enough to win our defense didn't Now if we start scoring 21 points a game they're going to have to adjust.. but ball control, three running backs and Josh Allen with wide receivers and tight ends who know their place in the offense makes it balanced and they can play multiple ways And trying to get the defense back to suffocated is 100% a way to win the super bowl The Buffalo Bills offense in Josh Allen's third year when he broke out was not balanced enough to win the super bowl it was all Josh Allen

https://www.nfl.com/news/next-gen-stats-top-10-nfl-deep-passers-of-2021-three-qbs-playing-for-new-teams-i By 2021 Josh Allen certainly vastly improved his deep ball The NFL considers a deep ball over 20 yards.. most deep balls thrown by burrow or tua or cousins are 25-30 yard floaters Josh likes to hold the ball and he throws 40 yard deep balls at a much higher rate than the rest of the NFL Which has like a 20% chance of completion rate.. even the type of deep balls Josh throws compared to most quarterbacks are different Josh has a 20-25 yd square in , In his deep ball repertoire behind linebackers and in front of safeties on a rope.. Joe burrow can't make that deep ball

Hoect is probably too large and doesn't cover well enough to be a base MIKE.. sure they tried making him cover a lot of people but it usually was not successful it's the weakest part of his game It's gonna be Bernard at the Mike.. Dorian at the strong side and Milano at the weak side You need to have sideline to sideline range to be a Mike... If I saw him there I would literally audible and throw right at him every single time.. he doesn't flip his hips good enough and run He probably be a hybrid stand up , defensive end outside linebacker hybrid -
Bills First Rnd pick in 2025 draft: Maxwell Hairston - CB - Kentucky

17-year-olds can be charged with rape Multiple athletes from the University of Kentucky have been charged with it in the last 10 years so why would they cover it up for a early enrollee The media is not running with this either.. if there was a lot of legs USA today would be posting about it.. New York times would be posting it Did we not go through this with our own punter we drafted a couple years ago? This kid is our first round pick and our punter got national spotlight... The media would run with this if it had traction But we are always innocent until proven guilty in America except in the media spotlight -
Joe andreessen Another local kid made our roster last year undrafted They are different positions but I think Sean's skill at his position is higher and I have a higher grade on him Throughout the whole draft process I have expected him to go undrafted but now that it's day three I really want him to have his moment

I actually saw shaun at a restaurant a couple weeks ago and I congratulated him and wished him luck on his career He's you're definitely right about some very late round pics.. there's a lot of guys who know they're going to make an NFL team And if the phone doesn't ring by the 6th round they actually might have a better chance of selecting their destination and choosing where they want to play 30% of the NFL is undrafted free agents... Getting to pick your scheme fit is huge especially for guys who are projected in the late round range and they go undrafted

Bills 6th Round Pick (#1) : Dorian Strong - CB - VA Tech
Buffalo716 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I agree But at a point some people act like Sean McDermott is a bum And he is a tremendous football coach and would be scooped up in a millisecond if the Bills ever fired him Most considered turnovers a random statistic.. because it varies so much year to year and relies a lot on a little bit of luck Yet Sean McDermott has 14 out of 16 years in the top 10 and 8 out of 14 years in the top five Which is showing with him it's not luck his scheme is elite at creating turnovers which every defensive coordinator wants -

We've held the Ravens and MVP Lamar Jackson the 25 points and 20 points in two playoff games We don't give up 35 to everyone -

Every single team holds stuff out.. like did the Chiefs have some wrinkles that the bills didn't see in the regular season? Sure Did they run wrinkles that no football players ever seen? No lol Andy Reid Sean McDermott Bill belichick.. I don't care who it is.. every single play in NFL history has been ran before football's recycled Greg R lost contain all day so of course he's going to have an excuse .. "they gave us wrinkles we never saw " Well guess what I saw it on tape two years ago against the Chiefs.. some of the same plays were Greg was collapsing inside into Oblivion that he said he didn't see But Reid has had it in his playbook for 5 years he just didn't run it a lot this year -

He's been here 7-8 years and by the time we've got to the playoffs we've had five years of being decimated by injuries I don't use it as an excuse but I also don't think we're winning the super bowl when we've been down three four starters for most of our playoff runs Again we had to trot out elam , one of the worst pics in the McDermott era... We lost our best safety from the entire season in rapp... If we could replace elam with Tre white who's now on our team Tre doesn't get abused the way Elam did in the playoff game by Worthy .. it doesn't even matter that Tre not in his prime.. Tre will literally jam the kid into the ground into Oblivion He's not running free for 15 yards It takes as much luck as skill to win a super bowl and the bills have not had Lady luck side.. the Chiefs last year could have lost seven or eight games in the regular season and was winning by teams missing chip shop field goals That's called lady luck... Something the bills have not had -

McDermott has more top 10 defenses.. points per game.. yards per game.. turnovers then Steve spagnola Sean McDermott has 14 seasons of being in the top 10 for turnovers... Spags has like 4 McDermott has like eight seasons in the top 10 for points per.. spags has like 5.. McDermott has like six seasons in the top 10 yards per game... Spags has like 7 Mind you Sean has done this as a defensive coordinator and a head coach Nobody scheme is perfect we haven't had the ball bounce our way the way we needed it.. as much as you need skill you need a little bit of luck to win a super bowl which we have not had Steve spagnola's scheme has plenty of flaws , I would take Sean McDermott any day of the week To lead my defense or team -

Buffalo716 replied to Simon's topic in The Stadium Wall
I think this is a great scheme fit... He played in a system that is similar to Sean.. he's tremendous in off coverage... He has instincts, burst.. a playmaker at the corner position which is rare The perfect player for Tre white to mentor Except that the University of Kentucky has arrested multiple athletes in the last decade for rape So I don't think it's a cover-up when they have arrested their own Maybe like ariza... Not a lot of legs run with the story -

Who on this board would you choose to make our draft picks?
Buffalo716 replied to Don Otreply's topic in The Stadium Wall
Yea I hear you I'm going to watch a few guys but Matt Ponatoski is a rising QB from the East Coast starting to get high major buzz and he's still undecided but he has a live arm and I think Pennsylvania Ohio area is a really underrated area for football players Doesn't get the love it could Obviously Texas Florida Georgia California are the Kings... But Louisiana , DMV area, Carolinas and Ohio Pennsylvania have a lot of great talent.. then add Alabama, Mississippi The amount of high school football talent in this country is insane -
