  1. I mean I get at a numbers game but the eagles don't have five terrific corners... I'm not saying he doesn't have any talent but you're not waiving a top 50 corner in the world There's probably no difference between him and jamarcus ingram in our scheme Levi wallace was a good corner back here too and everybody couldn't wait to get rid of him... Nobody is cutting a top 40 50 corner... He's a backend guy realistically And there's probably not much of a difference than Dane Jackson too who has started much more NFL games with some production and knows our defense ricks wouldn't for certain beat-out dane Jackson and ingram... Ricks played like 15 snaps...Ingram is a 6'2 corner with good leaping ability who knows our system and has put up some stats like again I'm not saying he doesn't have talent but I'm not putting my number two position on a kid who we just picked up that has only played 17 regular season snaps
  2. I'm not saying he doesn't have any talent but he runs a 4.6 Tre even after this last knee surgery is still that fast lol the eagles don't have all pros all over their cornerback group... this is like the eagles equivalency of Levi Wallace
  3. The one technique in Sean's defense is not like a traditional zero technique plug in a 34 If you're going to line up in a four defensive front rotation you need to have enough push from both your defensive tackles... The best defensive tackles have the ability to move over the front and not just be pigeonholed to one technique We certainly do have some run stuffers like ogunjobi... But when you sit in nickel like we do You need penetration... Whoever's lining up at the three technique and the one technique are going to have to both push the pocket and get pressure on the quarterback that's why even the one techniques we've drafted like Harrison Phillips are not plugs... Even your best one technique like Dexter Lawrence gets after the quarterback and collapsed pockets Star latulae was a classic plug that we gave a lot of money to and remember how that worked? people complained daily about him here Stopping the run is insanely taxing on your body and there's about five 1 techs that make their bread and butter only on that There's not a list of 25 one techniques who are shutting down the run weekly for years.. it's a small list
  4. Except investing in the s&p doesn't give you a professional football team which is one of 32 in the world That prestige along with the gains is much better than just being super rich in the stocks I'm sure he also has a very diversified stock portfolio
  5. Phillips definitely was solid in rotation here at the one technique before I think he got injured iirc He also was a good team player on the Vikings... Problem is they gave them a bag that was probably higher than his market value
  6. He played mostly 1 tech but it's not a pure nose tackle in McDermott's system, he's a tweener in size ... He's not a true plug He always put up tackling numbers he's just not a pure pass rusher
  7. Considering Harrison Phillips has eight sacks in his career in at Oliver has 27 I'd say he's playing it three times the rate lol Defensive tackles are only as good as the people around them and you can't compare ,8 career sacks to 27 Harrison Phillips is a guy ed Oliver is a above average football player who would produce on a lot of teams
  8. To be fair taxpayers paid $325 million for Jerry world New highmark stadium is getting 600 million from New York State taxpayers... Which by the brackets is mostly coming from downstate millionaires and billionaires If you're making 95,000 you're not contributing that much to the new stadium via state tax Erie county is chipping in 250 million which affects our taxpayers much more but is actually doable if you want to keep the Buffalo Bills in Western New York for our children's children's future
  9. Exactly there's a massive difference between the sports pundits who understand what they're talking about and the people with boots on the ground I'll never debate that Sanders has talent.. he has old school pocket passer traits in a smaller body.. he can dissect man coverage and he's very accurate But there's a lot more to the league now than just that.. he had negative rushing yards in college The last top quarterback pick I could find with negative rushing yards was Eli Manning like 20 years ago.. and it's a different game Jackson dart got drafted in the first because he is a Creator which fits the modern day NFL... Sanders just doesn't have the traits which scream first round pick Even Baker Mayfield who was around the same height.. has a cannon and was very Mobile in college
  10. Everything in mind probably Bijan who is going to be playing for a second contract Then Barkley Then Gibbs Than Henry
  11. I think it's the big 12 honestly Even before the Big ten expansion schools like Minnesota defend their home dirt... And Iowa is always tough same with Wisconsin at home I think all those schools have a better brand than Iowa State or Kansas or Texas tech historically Now if Texas and Oklahoma and Nebraska we're still in the Big 12 it would be a different story
  12. I bet it wasn't a bunch of cafeteria workers at the meeting I bet it was coo and CFO and vice president and lawyers and marketing people... It's one thing if he just walked into the cafeteria at one Bills drive and said hey we're not making me enough money and I can't go to the French Riviera! It's another thing in a pure business meeting setting No matter how much class or not you think is involved His business is there to fund his lifestyle intrinsically and that is a part of anybody's business.. to keep up their lifestyle.. whether it's done in poor taste or not, that's why they're in business partially It wouldn't be the first or the last time a billionaire or millionaire has put up a slideshow with something like that at a business meeting If he called out cafeteria workers at one Bills drive that they are the reason he can't fund his lifestyle that would be terribly sad... I don't think it was cafeteria workers at that meeting
  13. I mean I would believe it would be communicated that their goals are win championships, sustainability, and return on investment that's actually the type of thing that would come out at a company meeting... Notice the last thing was the lifestyle... The first two were win championships and sustainability... And even fund businesses and taxes were ahead of lifestyle... To me that shows it's last place because he's not there to lose his lifestyle either.. if any of us got to that level we don't want to lose it If that is his last goal.. and winning and sustainability and all that comes before it... of course the bills are there to also fund his lifestyle he's one of 32 in the world it's an elite company
  14. Every single goal of a professional franchise is to make money and keep up the lavish lifestyle of its owner... They are all living lavish lifestyles That's literally not new he's not owning these teams to lose money He's a billionaire he's doing it to get richer He can do whatever he wants with his money
  15. Exactly the eagles Chiefs or Ravens with Mike White are winning five six games 7 if they're extremely lucky
  16. von Miller ripping his ACL apart on a terrible turf field is bad luck not anything that made him injury prone Matt Milano getting bent backwards and snapping his leg in half is not injury prone it's bad luck... Matt Milano tearing his bicep off the bone is not injury prone it is bad luck It has nothing to do with his training or his technique... It was wrong place wrong time which is in fact luck... Injury prone would be Matt Milano meets a guy in the hole and never gets up all the time... That's not what happens Tre white yes at this point his lower body seems to be an injury waiting... Milanos and Vons injuries and Benfords are not a case of injury prone It's bad timing and it's why football is a violent game... But if we get them without their middle linebacker corner and safety we will trounce them.. they barely beat us
  17. Adam vinatieri's kick in the snow storm versus the raiders was absolutely not something that gets made every single kick lol that took a little bit of Lady luck even if he's one of the best ever Like I said we've literally played the Chiefs in the playoffs without Bernard and Benford and rapp , and davis..with taron Johnson nursing a concussion, and Rasul Douglas banged up lol and we had to play AJ Klein out of retirement covering Travis Kelce Let's get the Chiefs without three key contributors on defense and a bunch banged up and we will route them by 10 plus... we lost by a field goal while getting terrible spots They are not head and shoulders better than us if they were they would have beaten our injured team off the field.. we literally clawed tooth and nail and lost by three... We get them with fresh injuries and we are routing them
  18. Those teams absolutely have plenty of luck lol Sorry the Chiefs literally got the worst spot in NFL history on 4th down with Josh Allen's QB sneak And that's not the only time they've benefited from bad spots or questionable calls There are 15 minutes highlight videos of them benefiting from what could be considered luck or questionable calls Tom Brady had the Tuck rule , Tom Brady had Adam vinatieri kicking three or four big time winning kicks in the super bowl or AFC championship game... Tom Brady is Adam vinatieri having The yips to not winning his first couple super bowls... Vinatieri misses in the snow in the championship game versus the raiders, he misses one of his two super bowl winning kicks Tom Brady might not be a seven-time super bowl champion Norwood misses it vinatieri makes it... A tiny Gap that changes history Tom Brady getting the tuck rule was luck that altered history the Buffalo Bills are 100% good enough to beat the Chiefs and good enough to win a super bowl... Just because it didn't happen doesn't mean we're not good enough Only one team wins it every year and we absolutely have enough talent to win it... Hence health and luck is massive in the playoffs because the margin of error is nil.. when it's that small it takes things like luck and health 13 players on the injury report versus 4 for the Chiefs... You're not going into Arrowhead and winning that hurt.. especially when you're not getting spots that a high school ref should make... The margin of error is already so small ... You're not beating bad spots while being very banged up Let's see the chiefs with 13 injuries on their report and get them in the playoffs.. they lost two players in their secondary and gabe Davis looked like Jerry Rice We're missing two or three starters every single time we're playing them and other depth players... And the margin of error is too small to go on the road and make that up.. and we're still only losing barely... If we get the Chiefs without their starting corner, starting middle linebacker, and a safety we will trounce them
  19. Patrick mahomes having a bad statistical season is not equal to white or trubisky playing lol I'm going to bed now that is the craziest comparison ever He's still universally considered a top quarterback if not the best quarterback in the world by pundits Trubisky isn't in the top 40... Andy Reid isn't winning eight games with trubisky
  20. You just made my point that it takes as much luck as skill .. we got in on luck just as other teams have won in the playoffs with it... The Giants backed in at 9 and 7 got hot and got all the breaks on their way to a super bowl... We haven't had luck since that Bengals 4th down attempt The Chiefs wouldn't make the playoffs with white or trubisky and neither would the eagles You 100% need breaks going your way to win a super bowl throughout the postseason... In a game of inches where the talent margin is razor thin all it takes is a couple of bad breaks You're not going on the road with a more banged up roster, getting bad spots, and the ball's not bouncing your way... You're not going to win it takes as much luck as skill to win a super bowl
  21. That's literally horse**** seeing as we went to the playoffs with Tyrod Taylor Sean McDermott has the most top five defenses in NFL history for creating turnovers in his first 16 years as a defensive coordinator or head coach he does a lot with what he has to work with and the difference between us winning and losing a super bowl has been luck recently It takes as much luck as skill to win it.. Tom Brady's helmet catch says hello and wide right says hi the bills 100% have enough talent to beat any team in the NFL it's going to come down to how healthy we are and who gets the bounces
  22. I mean if we had top 15 pics for the last x amount of years it's easier to get a wide receiver who's going to be long-term productive for the number one role We have drafted NFL caliber wide receivers who can play in the league.. zay, shakir, Gabe, all our guys who got second deals in the NFL... It's tough to find a true number one at that spot And you have a higher chance of getting them early.. like there's even no question that Coleman could be a better wide receiver and have a better career than Xavier Worthy Picking guys at 28 is no guarantee of anything at wide receiver Same thing with Edge rusher.. you need to get really lucky to hit on those guys 25 to 50 You have a chance to take one in the top 15 it's a lot more of a chance they're big time.. because rushers with those blue chip traits don't fall It's easier to find a defensive tackle 30 through 70 who might break out... Walker and Sanders are going to improve our interior instantly in the regular season It's tougher to find a edge rusher at 70... Gregg r is almost as good as historically it gets where we drafted him ... If he had more elite pass rushing traits he would not have lasted to where we took him.. we've had to develop him and we did
  23. I've been saying for years here that there is no real free or strong safety in McDermott's defense You need interchangeable safeties at the NFL level now
  24. Yea a preferred walk on
  25. And he's hurt!!!!! We are screwed!!!
