Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
Buffalo716 replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
I hear what you're saying though he actually has been blocking slightly better than advertised When we drafted him I said his blocking was not great but better than what the pundits thought.. I feel like he's still in that same mold He'll never be a great move blocker but he has good aggressiveness and tenacity He needs a big season -
Your welcome Buffalo knows drunk radio 🤣

Wide Receiver Train Full Speed Ahead- CHOO CHOO!
Buffalo716 replied to Pete's topic in The Stadium Wall
Palmer is a solid football player I've literally been way less on Herbert than the majority of this board over the years He's a stat stuffer who has been folding with the game on the line since college... I think Palmer will easily be putting up 700+ yards And I wouldn't be surprised to see Kincaid go up to 700 plus -
He's plexico without the skill set rn He has the traits and the athleticism... He needs to work on the nuances but he still can be a big play receiver I don't see 1300 yards seasons but I can see 50-60 catches at 16-18 ypr

@AlCowlingsTaxiService @BuffaloBillyG Do you guys have any actual definitive reason to disagree? He's a Stalwart if he had the pedigree of a first round pick he would probably be a two-time All pro .. he plays one-on-one all game on an island There's not five offensive tackles more consistent over the last 6 seasons... You add in three to four more good years That's 10 years of being in the top 5-7 at the most premium offensive line position... That is certainly going to at least get your name onto the starting list He's not been meddling.. he plays on an island protecting Josh's blind side Guys like Frank Gore got 16,000 Rushing yards being consistent.. Frank Gore maybe has one season of being a top three running back.. he was consistently top seven.. and he's going to the Hall of Fame Dion is like the Frank Gore of the left tackle right now.. always really good never considered the best

Honestly probably not tenths He did return punts at FSU and had some burst and ability I don't think a school with the prestige of Florida State would put a kid back there without talent /athleticism Usually on a football team especially in ACC/ SEC/ B12 your punt returner is the best pure athlete
-
You're never going to go from a 4.5 to a 4.3 in the pros but you can definitely shave a few hundreds of a second off .. you can absolutely improve your burst and acceleration and some top speed I was at a high school football camp over a decade ago where DK was running in the 4.6s... 3 years later after ole Miss he was 4.3s

I've been saying it for years Dion Dawkins is one of the best left tackles in the NFL All pros and stuff like that is a club.. from draft day you're almost either a part of the club or you're not He's pushing into legitimate Hall of Fame territory with three or four more years of good left tackle play.. he's been that consistent for 6 years.. not first ballot but he could get in after 4 or 5 years

Their defense has better pieces Spagnola has 16 years coaching in the NFL as a head coach or defensive coordinator... Same with McDermott Spagnola has five top 10 defenses in yards... McDermott has nine Spagnola has seven top 10 defenses for points.. McDermott has six Spagnola has 4 top 10 defenses in takeaways McDermott has 14 top 10 defenses in takeaways... 8 in top 5 We need to stay healthy and we needed to add more pieces Spagnolis defense also just got mollywomped in the super bowl
-
I hate that it doesn't get home lol There is a fine line to me with aggression at the right time and then playing your style.. hopefully we find the best balance next season
-
We certainly have struggled on third down... Yet people cry that McDermott is too conservative Yet on 3rd down calls he loves press man, cover one... Aggressive calls On 3rd and 6th he is in your face a lot

Andrew Van Ginkel gets paid. One year $23 Million extension
Buffalo716 replied to Draconator's topic in The Stadium Wall
Super pumped he's not a dolphin He actually was one of the linebackers that could run down to Allen -
We can all have our opinions and agree to disagree 🙏

Patrick mahomes also got the best quarterback whisper in the last 20 years to learn from.. he got to sit on the bench behind a pro bowl quarterback while they went to the playoffs Every single quarterback in the history of professional football can grow from being groomed from the bench.. you get ruined getting thrown to the fire , quarterback is the one NFL position you can learn from the sideline ... Even top five picks like Philip Rivers sat the bench He also had a much better built roster top to bottom then Josh Allen inherited.. it's not even close to being in the same situation So yes I unequivocally believe Patrick mahomes would not have three super bowls here.. the NFL is all circumstances And he had a better circumstance not even close Josh is one of the few quarterbacks to make it out through the fire on a bad team and come out polished... Bad surrounding team, playing through all the ups and downs getting thrown through the ringer... he got the Peyton Manning treatment just like Peyton threw 27 picks his rookie year That would have ruined anybody but Peyton Manning and Josh Allen is in the same mold as a fighter

Atlanta Falcons’ DC’s kid pranked Shedeur
Buffalo716 replied to FireChans's topic in The Stadium Wall
Eh super classless move but there's not much reprimanding you can do I was taught really young sticks and Stones can break your bones.. this is basically the same thing but a prank instead of getting made fun of Super classless and douchebag move but all his father can do is probably ground him.. you can't send him to jail, no crime was committed... It was a low blow move -
If the bills drafted Patrick mahomes we don't have three super bowls lol In fact he's probably not even close to the same guy because look at the roster Josh Allen inherited.. look at the roster Pat got

We haven't even picked in the top 20 in years.. devonte Smith went 10th overall to Philly lol We haven't sniffed that position since 2019 Nobody knew Justin Jefferson would be Justin Jefferson that's why he lasted till 26.. wide receivers at that spot is a crap shoot
-
While that is technically true that was 15 years ago.. a long time ago in his hockey career and people move up the ranks He also was a scout in the USHL And he literally was the director of player personnel on the USNTDP U17 team So he had experience around the best 17-year-old players in America who were about to become draft eligible and then the sabres hired him and he was a pro scout for another 3 years .. then director of scouting then director of pro scouting But it was a long long haul from Buffalo State

Joey Galloway had a thousand yards as a rookie in 1995... Marvin Harrison had 800 yards as a rookie in 1996... In 1998 Randy Moss had a 1300 yd as a rookie Eric moulds did take a long time to turn up.. started very slow

I still do see some potential in Coleman and think he could actually be a pretty good downfield threat if he cleans up inconsistencies A deep threat in the mold of a poor man's plaxico burress But yeah if we draft another 6'3 guy who runs in quicksand I'll be disappointed
