McNabb was not a bum lol He might not be off Hall of famer but he's far from a bum In the 2000s decade, he literally had the third most passing yards and fourth most touchdowns behind only Hall of famers I think he was second in rushing touchdowns for quarterbacks and 4th in wins behind only Brady Manning and favre The dude is far from a bum and there are worse quarterbacks to win super bowls

When he crosses the 50 yard line at McDermott goes for at a bigger clip than just about every single coach in the league 4th and 1 4th and 2 4th and 3 are all in his wheelhouse.. it's not that abnormal for him since Josh became great

Yeah it's fun to do big parlays like that But for that cash out for that amount of games isn't really worth it , except doing it for fun... It's obviously all money line on heavy favorites But there's always going to be a few games that probably don't go your way .. hence missing out on one Even five game parlays are considered really big.. there's a reason why professional sharps don't even do parlays they do one game spreads usually Even if they just choose five games and play five singles Mastering the spread is where it's at

Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)
Buffalo716 replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Now it's time the dolphins have to protect him the right way.. And unfortunately nudge him into retirement... Tua has some talent But he physically is not built for the rigors of how dangerous the NFL is -
Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)
Buffalo716 replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall
As someone who has dealt with concussion issues from football Tua knows the risks, and tua is the one who straps it up The dolphins did not put a gun to his head.. he's a competitor and he wanted to play -
Yes.. Brady stats in his 20 years versus Buffalo equal to 36 games 72 TDs

Social media after a Bills win makes everything better
Buffalo716 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
Oh my God my heart is going to explode watching all the videos in this thread I haven't laughed so hard in so long Colin Kaepernick just took me over the top -
Yeah I don't think he needed the show anything tonight But the 4th down call where he couldn't just run up the gut It was a nice creative play call where we needed it

Siren Neal is not a retread lol He was drafted and developed by Buffalo and turned into one of the best special teams players in the league I don't know why you have to hate on him even though he's not on the bills

Von Miller proves the doubters wrong
Buffalo716 replied to transplantbillsfan's topic in The Stadium Wall
Anybody who wrote von Miller off wouldn't know their elbow from their ankle And I'm saying that politely You're talking about a first ballot Hall of famer who was renowned for his work ethic -
Elam is strictly an outside corner He will never sniff the slot where TJ played
-
He definitely suffered a seasoning ending injury That 2010 season he only played eight games he was our leading receiver.. he was actually playing really well And he dove for a pass across the middle and broke his arm
-
I wish he was our backup years ago He's just too far removed and father time has caught up

The Bills beat the Cardinals because… (superstition reasons only)
Buffalo716 replied to Just Jack's topic in The Stadium Wall
I just went from crown Royal to Buffalo trace -
Now am I saying he could play reckless year-round? Absolutely not But you don't draft a guy like Allen, then try and turn him into Peyton Manning He has so much success as he has, and he is so hard to defend because of his dual threat abilities He has the ability to sit in the pocket and go through 3 reads but he also has the ability to break off long runs at any time His ability to break off chunk runs and throw with world class ability on the run outside the pocket keeps defensive coordinators up at night Still wish he would learn to slide better
-
More quarterback injuries happen inside the pocket then outside the pocket Especially at Josh's size... Outside the pocket he's taking on smaller safeties defensive backs and even linebackers he's bigger than Inside the pocket he has 300 lb grown men falling on his knees and ankles.. that's where you get the season ending injuries He's banged up, but he'll be perfectly fine.. there's a better chance that whatever safety he lowers his shoulder into gets hurt before him

A Few Thoughts about the Cardinals Game, in no particular order
Buffalo716 replied to Virgil's topic in The Stadium Wall
He Doesn't always call a time out in that situation He calls a time out in that situation a lot to make sure his defensive alignment is perfect for what the offense brought out... He's playing chess.. he wants to match his personnel to what they're going to do But he was bringing the heat so calling a time out would have just given the offense a look at his pre snap package.. if he was playing coverage probably would have called the time out -
We'll see that throughout the season But Josh running inside the five.. probably a 70% success rate That fade is well under that.. there's a time and place for everything But inside the five I'm running Josh.. or giving him run pass options or a quick rub route with an occasional fade
-
He played 100% of defensive snaps Is clearly their number one corner
