  1. Well I told you the other day that Northern Illinois was a tough MAC school And Notre Dame season is done
  2. Texas is whooping UM like a red headed step child
  3. He is still a work in progress for sure... The one thing he will always struggle with is guys who take advantage with supreme leverage He's always going to be at a leverage disadvantage at 6'8 And some teams just literally line up at the wide nine and just try to run around his length where he still has some problems with straight speed But he's definitely a mauler in the run game and he's honestly pretty nasty on the football field.. which is what you want from an offensive lineman He blocks through the whistle.. he doesn't give up on a play and naturally he should get better in pure passing situations with more reps... When he gets his hands on guys they're usually done
  4. I'm obviously here because I'm a bills fan but I have no problem calling a player a bust or washed up or over the hill Offensive line is a position that doesn't even peek till they're around 28-29 As much as you're looking for perfect technique right off the bat you're also looking for certain traits to mold Obviously height strength and length are very important... But then there's other traits that you need to find when scouting in offensive tackle Does he have a boxers straight to redirect a rush? Can he anchor against a bull rush? Does he sink into his hips or bend from waist? Does he have a fluid kick step? How do his feet move in open and tight spaces ? Can he move the LoS in run? Does he have grit? Besides his overall rawness as a prospect... Coming from a small school with not a lot of repetition.. he had a lot to desire with technique.. But he crossed the boxes of everything you want from a really good tackle in terms of a skill set which is what I've always thought the bills are banking on and I do like his coachability
  5. TBD tag team wrestling match! Boiler room brawl!
  6. I have already submitted and I will agree with you guys They have embraced the city and the city embraced them
  7. NGL I've been really high on Brown for a while He is so physically gifted, was raw and needed refinement and reps... Now I think he's going to blossom into a pro bowl level tackle
  8. Well I could tell you that most of this site is not living in Buffalo or from here but I still do I still have my family house on the east side
  9. Terry and his family are absolutely a part of this community forever And we are all very thankful... I have never said that was not the case I just said that Buffalonion usually means raised here... They have spent a lot of money, help the community, and they seem to be very kind people I will be forever grateful to Terry and his family and yes I am rooting for her and yes I will agree with you I have already submitted to you guys All I said was to me a Buffalonion was someone who was raised here... They have ties to Western New York and have done plenty good for the community and I am grateful to Terry and his family So yes I will retract.. I wasn't trying to be mean I was just trying to say how families like the gronkowskis have been here for generations I wasn't trying to be mean and all of your points are valid They are linked with Buffalo now forever.. I'm very grateful for their family
  10. There's a lot of gatekeeping in Buffalo buddy It's a very proud City And I never said one bad thing about pagula or his daughter.. I said I wish them all the best and I'm glad he bought the team But Terry pegula and his kids did not grow up in Buffalo or its suburbs those were the only statements I made I did say I am very grateful and I hope she does well
  11. In Buffalo proper? Buffalo or one of the inner or outer ring suburbs? Or in Olean? If you went to school with one of their kids in Hamburg I will retract everything By no accounts have I ever heard any of their kids going to school in Buffalo Olean isn't Buffalo
  12. Those are all fine sentiments.. but I think people who are buffalonions have people in Buffalo who grew up with them I know it says she was born in Buffalo on Wikipedia but I think that was like a passerby birth... Terry was living in olean/Pennsylvania.. Kim was from Rochester.. and even Rochester is Western New York, but buffalonions don't consider it buffalo Jessica was not raised here or went to school here... Nobody in cheektowaga Buffalo Amherst williamsville grew up with her Garret Gilbert is an NFL quarterback who was born in Buffalo... Cuz his father was our backup... But he was raised in Texas and nobody considers him a buffalonion The gronkowskis, macks , mcduffies , Kane, now andreeson family all have roots in the Buffalo area and plenty of people have stories and memories of growing up with them Again I'm very thankful for Terry and I hope Jessica has much success but growing up in Buffalo is part of being a Buffalonion to most here Their family has embraced Buffalo and buffalo has embraced them but nobody from that family has ever lived here As I just said Garrett Gilbert the NFL quarterback is from Buffalo also Because his father was our backup.. Nobody considers Garrett Gilbert in Buffalo a Buffalonion..
  13. For sure he's definitely not far from the area But before he bought the sabres nobody in the community knew who he was.. he didn't invest in the community... And when I say community I mean Buffalo and the inner/outer ring Suburbs He's the king of Buffalo now because he owns multiple sports franchises and has invested in the city.. all good things But it's not like he was active in the Buffalo community before he bought the sabres... He wasn't I'm very glad Terry bought the franchises.. and I hope his daughter has a lot of success... But when I think of local.. I think of the gronkowskis , the mcduffies, kanes... Macks, Now andreeson There are tons of people all around buffalo and the burbs who grew up with them and went to school with them and have amazing stories of them growing up in the area Nobody knew who the pegulas where in Buffalo till Terry bought sabres and they definitely didn't grow up around the city or burbs
  14. I hope she does well but I just don't understand how she is Buffalo She plays in an individual sport and her father owns the bills which she supports because her father owns them Before Terry bought the sabres nobody in Buffalo knew who they were..Terry was not a part of the Buffalo community Tons of people knew the gronkowski family, and kane family and the mcduffies... Tons of people grew up with Joe andreessen.. locals know them Nobody knew who the pegulas were till he bought sabres I'm super glad Terry bought the teams and I hope he has a long healthy life and his daughter wins many tournaments but neither were raised or lived here
  15. Dyngus day is still big in parts of Buffalo Still one of the most Polish cities in the country with the surrounding suburbs
  16. Yea I think the wildcat could still be semi successful in some situations Consistently doing quarterback sneaks and getting your quarterback pounded by 300 lb guys is tough... On the goal line , it might be the time to put in an extra offensive lineman... Get a fullback back there, and direct snap... That's basically your QB sneak but you don't have to beat him up And you got an extra blocker But I don't see teams running for a thousand yards like the dolphins did
  17. Probably 2-4 years when schools do come together and agree it's insane to be paying 17-year-olds millions of dollars Lots of people already think NFL players are already overpaid.. now there are high schoolers getting paid as much as some pros It's like when the NFL put a cap on rookie deals.. because they were getting paid tens of millions of dollars more than NFL veterans and they've never played a snap.. Colleges will start to push back over giving 17-year-olds a million dollars before they even step on campus
  18. It's Not necessarily about how good A&m is this year... It's week one.. every single division one team has dreams of being conference champs and they all just prepared all offseason for one game Texas A&m has had top 15 recruiting classes for seven straight years.. including the number one class and multiple in the top five So the team has talent for years while being undercoached... Then you add in their historical home record and how tough it is to play there.. especially out of conference week 1 when everybody has something to play for.. if this was week 10 and Texas A&m was 5-4.. sure they might not be as up 0-0 week 1 with Notre Dame traveling across the country? In their barn with 110,000 people.. where they are 25-6 last 5 seasons? And they have everything to play for... Definitely makes them more formidable.. even Alabama barely squeaked out a win their last year It's a tough place to play especially when the fans and the team have the entire season to play for
  19. Fake punt passes under seven yards already have a good success rate ... Because coaches already time them usually and only run them when they know they have advantage So there's no need to do a weird underhand pass... You could do a traditional fake punt pass at 4th and 7th and convert at a 50% clip if timed right which is better than third down conversion rates
  20. Well no offense but she certainly doesn't have as many fans as the bills and sabres And she definitely was not raised in Buffalo even if she was in Western New York Pennsylvania area She's not a local to the level andreeson is ( It's funny all the eye rolls I'm getting, but let's just break this down... Terry pegula is not born and raised Buffalo... His wife is Rochester... Terry never lived in Buffalo and she wasn't raised here... She lived in Pennsylvania Carolina and Florida... Sure she reps the Buffalo bills who her father owns but she is not really a local like the gronkowskis or andreeson or Kane.. she didn't spend any of her early life in Buffalo Best of luck to her and her career! I just think it's crazy to put her on any level as the bills or sabres which have 50 plus years of history in Buffalo Before Terry bought the sabres he didn't invest in Buffalo, he wasn't tied to Buffalo
  21. But how far could you sling it? Like I said my buddy is was a lineman at the University at Buffalo... And also the fifth string quarterback He obviously would throw overhand in a practice if he ever got the reps... But just tossing it around with friends, he had this underhand sling that could go 30 yards on a rope! I honestly thought that was super impressive and only guys like Fran tarkenton could do that
  22. I don't even want to interject cuz this is just going to bring up painful memories for people But fake punts inside 4 yards have the highest conversion rate of any play in the NFL.. over 60% Now how the hell did we come up with that JV fake punt snap to Hamlin when 60% of the league gets it right!
  23. People who could throw a beautiful football underhand do exist but it's rare My buddy was a UB lineman and backup quarterback.. like 5th String quarterback And man.. I've never been able to see somebody sling a football underhand like him Tight spiral, 35 40 miles an hour.. hit you right in the hands lol
  24. Josh Allen did nothing comparable to a fake slide versus Pittsburgh ... He literally never started to lower himself to the ground... Josh Allen's been shimmying like that since he got to the bills and it's nothing like a fake slide.. it's more of a stuttered juke
  25. Of course it can be effective.. it gives you an extra blocker... The bills should put Reggie Gilliam in the wildcat on the goal line... Keep Josh Allen away from all those big bodies... Put in an extra offensive tackle And let the big boys go to work... That's where I see wildcats still having success in the short yardage
