Tua’s Broken Dome (now being placed on IR-out at least 4 games)
Buffalo716 replied to RunTheBall's topic in The Stadium Wall
Well that's the point He's a grown man.. doctors recommendations or even family doesn't even probably weigh that much to somebody who loves the game that much and still thinks he could play McMahon the bears quarterback also had terrible concussions if I recall correctly -

Guys Tua is a football player ... As I said earlier up the thread they all know the risks When you get to this level of football.. sure some are playing for the money.. they lost the Love of the game a long time ago but are so talented and put their entire lives into the game they're going to get their bread Then you get guys like favre , Brady , Allen and yes tua These guys love the sport of football.. they identify as football players... Those guys would go out on their Shields if they could playing forever Brady tried and he was still throwing piss missiles at 43.. that's just the Love of the game Tua is a tough sob and he knows he's putting his health on the line and his cognition on the line But just like hockey players or wrestlers... If that's all they know it's hard to tell them no -
High level football and human bodies are an interesting thing.. x + y does not always equal z It's not always about the age.. health of the body is more important There are also people who are early bloomers and late bloomers... Josh Allen is an example of a late bloomer You're not expecting a decade out of running backs anymore.. so you're looking for who could give you the most on their first contact Ray has the best blend of size speed quickness and power and blocking ability While showing he can tote the load for three different teams in college.. scheme versatility and toughness Does he have long-term feature back ability? Probably not... Can he be a valuable piece on a winning team? Absolutely

Well Richardson definitely did quarterback camps cuz I saw him at the elite 11 camps

Strange thing I noticed about Mike McDaniel

I mean I'm not going to say people on the spectrum are any less of a person not on it .. we're all people But yeah I do think it's a slippery slope to just internet diagnose someone and say they might have autism because of what you might see of them on TV Yes people with autism are normal humans But nobody needs to internet diagnose someone who is not looking for a diagnosis -
Bryce Young already benched in Carolina

AJ McCarron was a 5th-round pick bro You act like he was a first rounder... He was drafted to be a backup There are elite quarterback camps around the country from the time these kids are 15 years old... Scouts through multiple levels see these kids grow up Guys like Bryce young were liked well before college because when they got around their peers at passing camps they threw better balls.. go to an elite 11 camp and Bryce young was insane... That's why he had 35 college scholarships.. and then he had a great college career... that doesn't mean you're going to be a great pro but every major college did want him because of his talent which could translate to college Again it's very few that can translate college success to professional success at the quarterback spot.. it takes coaching and scheme fit as much as it does talent And FYI I did not like Bryce young coming out and you can search every draft thread here to confirm that I did not like him at all But it has nothing to do with him going to Alabama.. it has to do with how I thought he would translate to the league because he's just not strong enough for a grown mans league -

Tua maybe dinged up and struggle versus the bills.. but he does well against most of the other NFL He led the league in passing yards last year. Had 29 touchdown... Has led a team to the playoffs..... Jalen hurts was it Alabama for 3 years and Oklahoma for only one... He is a crimson Tide He is also a pro bowl quarterback.. every quarterback has some issues... But he is strong in the pocket and athletic and built for the modern NFL They have two quarterbacks in the last 6 years drafted that have gone to a pro bowl... Are they your typical quarterback? No But they have absolutely had success when they played bro There's plenty of schools who haven't had one quarterback go to a pro bowl or one quarterback drafted Professional scouts really like tua coming out besides the size issues... You act like the NFL forced teams to draft Alabama quarterbacks Only 7 to 10 quarterbacks get drafted a year... It's not Alabama's fault they consistently get the top guys out of high school so they're always in position to get drafted -

Hurts was on campus in Alabama for 3 years and only in Oklahoma for one He himself calls himself a crimson Tide.. he's absolutely as much Alabama as Oklahoma And point stands again that it's up to the player how they perform in the NFL.. a college can only put you in position to get drafted -

It's not a school's job to get a player ready for the NFL honestly Nick saban's job is to win college football games .. get Bryce young ready for Mississippi, not the NFL All they can do is get a player in position to get drafted... And A school that consistently puts out prospects that professional scouts think are talented enough to play in the league is not easy I mean a poster up the thread, is talking about how the Texans lucked into Stroud ... But how many Ohio State quarterbacks have busted in the last 20 years? Does that mean nobody should take Ohio State quarterbacks? Or should Ohio State get credit for consistently putting out talented quarterbacks? And eventually one has to hit? Yes , tua is dinged up and plays down to the bills but you're still talking about a quarterback who led the NFL in passing yards with 29 tds... That's far from terrible.. Alabama product Jalen hurts was a pro bowler last year... He has flaws like every quarterback but he's still very hard to contain due to his athleticism.. another Alabama quarterback For all the Alabama busts they still do have two guys from their school who did reach a pro bowl Again all a college can do is get their kids in position to go to the NFL... Only about 7 to 10 quarterbacks get drafted every year.. the best 7 to 10 amateurs in the world Schools like USC get a kid almost drafted every single year even though they haven't had a lot of success in the NFL recently either.. but that's not their fault again.. what is impressive is that they could consistently get 17 18 year old high school quarterbacks to develop into guys the NFL is willing to draft That's hard to do consistently -
The analytics say putting the ball in Josh hands is better than putting it on bass's foot too You don't win in the NFL kicking field goals

McNabb was not a bum lol He might not be off Hall of famer but he's far from a bum In the 2000s decade, he literally had the third most passing yards and fourth most touchdowns behind only Hall of famers I think he was second in rushing touchdowns for quarterbacks and 4th in wins behind only Brady Manning and favre The dude is far from a bum and there are worse quarterbacks to win super bowls
-
When he crosses the 50 yard line at McDermott goes for at a bigger clip than just about every single coach in the league 4th and 1 4th and 2 4th and 3 are all in his wheelhouse.. it's not that abnormal for him since Josh became great
-
Yeah it's fun to do big parlays like that But for that cash out for that amount of games isn't really worth it , except doing it for fun... It's obviously all money line on heavy favorites But there's always going to be a few games that probably don't go your way .. hence missing out on one Even five game parlays are considered really big.. there's a reason why professional sharps don't even do parlays they do one game spreads usually Even if they just choose five games and play five singles Mastering the spread is where it's at
