Tremaine intimidated quarterbacks not to throw his way because of his length Any quarterback that ever did had a lot of success.. let's be real smart quarterbacks were targeting him because he was easier to Target than the other people on the field I mean Milano is better in coverage.. Bernard is better in coverage now ... He's not some coverage savant he had a 56 coverage grade this year If he was Sean McDermott's Buffalo version of Luke kuechly we would have paid him And I'm not comparing dolac to Tremaine Edmunds.. I'm saying we went from a first round pick in Edmunds to a mid round pick in Bernard and was singing hallelujah because how much better Bernard was in coverage

Close enough lol Mormon , Amish Potato potata

Well you must have went to West Seneca West

At the end of the day if you're taking a kid undrafted.. it's hard to say hard no Because it's little risk... The 12 undrafted free agency they bring in aren't making or breaking anything The day of a two down run stuffer is basically obsolete.. it's like a dinosaur.. extinct.. Brandon spikes does not have a place on the NFL roster anymore You need to have some ability to run and cover.. because if a quarterback like Josh sees Brandon spikes on the field on first down .. he audibles and throws right at him You can't be one-dimensional Tremaine was the biggest middle linebacker in the NFL... And he was a run stuffer not a pass coverage guy.. and we couldn't wait to get rid of him Because of liabilities... Two games of Terrell Bernard and people were singing hallelujah

But Hamler Isabella and chasepool were all has beens or never was And we didn't draft any of them top 3 rounds , we picked them up for peanuts when they sucked
-
There definitely will be a place for him in the league.. he will grind out special teams great too The thing that makes it tough for his draft status is his playing competition and size / athleticism combo If he was 6'3 238 lb and ran in the 4.5s.. he could go in the top three or four Being around 225-230 with not a lot of room to add weight and concerns about his man coverage ability at the next level puts him in squarely as a developmental type guy rn who has good tape with instincts Which is why he's mostly pegged as an undrafted or late round pick

For diggs , yea

The football trifecta and where do the Bills stand?
Buffalo716 replied to Sweats's topic in The Stadium Wall
Brady Moss never won a super bowl either -
@YoloinOhio Has certainly watched Jack Sawyer for years.. and I don't think he's his favorite player .. I don't think I want him in the first round either He was great in the playoffs but he was rather pedestrian for most of his buckeye career
-
I think that's because the Buffalo Bills didn't record stats like tackles in the early '70s He has a recorded sack for the bills so he definitely had a tackle.. the Buffalo Bills statisticians didn't track tackles till like 1978

That's typically how it always is outside of a top 20 consensus prospect The players ranked 30 to 85 are probably jumbled all over the board.. some might have a guy at 30 somebody might have him at 60.. somebody might have somebody at 27.. somebody else has him at 40 Outside of the consensus top 15 or 20 there's usually a lot of disparity.. that's why even NFL teams draft guys in the first round who the pundits said they had a second or third round grade on.. there's a disparity in grades

Well.. soliciting a prostitute and then going to the police after to say you were robbed is pretty embarrassing I'd rather keep that to myself

Bill belichick just like Sean McDermott was able to stick plenty of pieces into his scheme and get contributions Sean McDermott wasn't the first coach to have defensive players get a bigger contract from another team... Wish them luck.. just to bring them back when they didn't play up to their contract and get cut.. bring them back to Buffalo where they play pretty well again Bill belichick can get six round picks ready to play in his scheme all day just like Sean.. people forget Sean also helped develop four players on our defense into all pros.. Milano , both safeties and Tre White all became all pros under Sean McDermott He turned them into some of the best in the world

Gotcha Ofc his accomplishments should be praised higher A combine snub Is crazy considering he's the only one left off from AP all American list
-
For sure but what does Khalil Mack have to do with this? My point was dolac was first team All-American and did not get invited to the combine Mack was a top five pick
-
And he's not going to be over 230 lb probably But what he does have is a lot experience in a 2 linebacker system.. and nickel is huge around the NFL... So he at least has tons of reps as a three down linebacker and will play special teams And he smoked the 4.6 !
-
Lmao no but I was scouting in Central and western New York when he came out And seeing kids go from unheralded walk on to all American in your small town is always a great story He actually went a different route and did one year at a postgrad school after West Seneca... which West Seneca East just sent another kid to this past year who is really good too And that's a long hard route for a 0 star recruit... We prop up our own in Buffalo

Choosing your destination definitely has some benefits to a back end of the roster guy.. does he have a better chance long term choosing his destination instead of getting drafted round seven? Sure He can really go to the best spot 30% of the NFL is undrafted free agents
-
Of course but that's the mold for an SEC linebacker Tennessee or Ol Miss or Georgia or Alabama isn't going to waste one year on a guy like dolac from the portal.. they have seven guys on their roster waiting in the wings, and even if those guys leave they have three incoming freshmen with four or five stars A zero Star high School prospect who got three stars in the portal isn't worth their time even if he's really good
-
I went to ub pro Day last year and there was at least 22 NFL teams in attendance if I remember And a couple CFL teams Of course making a roster is the goal but going to the combine is the easiest way to get drafted statistically
-
U act like the the Mac is division 3 football lol the Mac puts out good amount of NFL players every single year and he's the best defender in the Mac He also did have an offer and went to Utah State home of Bobby Wagner but literally left after 3 weeks and enrolled back at UB No sec school is taking a small Mac linebacker... No matter the stats he produced They literally have four and five star players out the yin yang on their depth charts.. they're not wasting one year on a guy when they have freshmen at 240 lb running 4.5 40s That's not a knock on dolacs talent.. the SEC just won't knock
-
Yea build wise ... We're so not specialized in Western New York for football our best guys are playing two three positions throughout their high School career Dolac was running for 2,000 yards as a senior.. when if he was maybe in Ohio he would have been only focusing on linebacker in a bigger division and had some offers Prolly gonna be around 225-230 pounds He is

Only AP All-American not to get a combine invite... Led the nation in tackles two out of the last 4 years I'd say not going to the combine is a pretty big snub when you were awarded first team AP All-American and led the nation in tackles twice Andreeson was good but was only at UB for one year and was in FCS player mostly.. Shaun has multiple heavy impact years at the FBS
-
I mean officially we're going to have to wait till the pro day... But 4.6 range.. bad day 4.7 something But I think he'll run under that... At summer practices over the years he's been in the 4.6 ish range He blew it off!

West Seneca East graduate and first team AP all American shaun Dolac has another uphill battle to the league Being snubbed from every major All-Star game and the NFL combine The latest talented Buffalo bulls linebacker will have to wow at the pro Day to catch some more eyes I have a sixth round grade on him and expect him to go undrafted at this point but priority UDFA and he will get his chance to stick in the league At this point I will not be surprised if he ends up signing with Buffalo as an undrafted free agent and reunites with Buffalo Joe A local kid to first team All-American to Buffalo Bills linebacker sounds like a movie
