  1. Was it 336? It was well over a decade ago and I thought he was around 290-300 because that's where he played at It doesn't even matter anymore But he was given well over a year to acclimate. Not even starting at right tackle till about week five or six of his second Season. He is the epitome of a hard-working player where hard work pays off
  2. I mean are you going to take tasker's word or Jason Peters himself? Regardless he was a good blocker in college, and just needed a little bit of time to work on stunts and such And add some strength and some weight By the time he achieved that he was ready to play the unknown was if he could get to that weight while keeping his athletic ability
  3. Peter's is sandwiched between Jennings and Mike Williams because he was basically a blocking tight end on the play and they just call him T. Not even LT or RT, just T https://www.google.com/amp/s/syndication.bleacherreport.com/amp/2425017-jason-peters-tells-his-story-of-the-undrafted-road-to-nfl-success.amp.html If you read this he clearly says he never played offensive line until the offseason where he asked Mike mularkey how to get on the Field More And he transitioned to line He was not practicing there at all his rookie year
  4. He actually was still playing a blocking tight end his rookie year He didn't play right tackle till his second season Those five games he appeared in at the end of his rookie year were as a special teams demon and blocking end
  5. Some undrafted free agents make more than 7th round picks Once you reach a certain slot where you think you're talents outweigh the draft price, sometimes it's better to go undrafted and pick your spot Peter's got Great development because he got to choose to come to Buffalo, where we had the time to develop him Who knows he could have not answered the phone for a team in the 7th round
  6. Because he was a 290 pound tight end that never played tackle before He had alot of technique to learn and how to read stunts and twists which isn't easy
  7. That is the physical ramifications of the game Every player knows what they're signing up for I've had over a dozen concussions in my life playing football and it's certainly affected my health. People used to die on the gridiron it's a violent game
  8. They're making millions of dollars playing a game.. No players have anything to complain about
  9. Yeah using that word has a super negative connotation Soldiers kill people in war Buffalo Bill was not roaming the wild west slaughtering native Americans
  10. I'm pretty sure Buffalo Bill made many of the natives rich for the time They were traveling all across Europe making money
  11. A bill is an American dollar And we are the Buffalo Bills because we make it rain!
  12. I actually called him a scout in my last post. He wasn't even technically in the army He was a civilian scout
  13. Well the name isn't the Buffalo Bill It's the Buffalo Bills, and they do have merchandise that says bills
  14. He was a civilian scout. Who cares, besides crazy people The history of humans is a history of warfare. Fighting wars and then preparing for wars in peacetime We will never stop fighting, because there's evil that wants to take good down And that was true 2 thousand years ago and 200 years ago and today.. if serving in the military is bad, then you might as well get rid of the American military
  15. I don't believe Buffalo Bill Cody murdered many native Americans he was a civil war soldier, and created Buffalo Bill's wild West show which had natives in prominent roles
  16. Yes I'm a felon
  17. Yeah he already wants a title fight lol His striking was real impressive and he literally knocked the dude out cold AND he had the grace to not throw another bomb in Jab sharp hook combo was beautiful
  18. I've been watching literally since UFC 1 which was a tournament and I love mixed martial arts As a longtime fan and somebody who has also practiced some martial arts, I could easily separate what's really entertaining and what's a brilliant performance Usman had a brilliant strategy and performance because he's a champion and the only thing that matters technically is winning As for putting on a show, it's not really the greatest But you can't fault the world champion for having a game plan to win a fight
  19. Oh I totally understand that. It's a brilliant strategy and I always tell my friends who just want brawling to watch Muay Thai or kickboxing But it's really not as entertaining as standing toe-to-toe in the middle of octagon if you're being honest It's not like there was any high-level Jiu-Jitsu or wrestling going on, just a lot of outmuscling and wearing down your opponent. Which was a brilliant strategy, just not as entertaining as the other fights
  20. Masvadal fight was kind of a snoozer But the woman fight between namajunas and andrada was amazing. Those 2 chicks were warriors And stood in the middle of that octagon and threw bombs for 15 minutes. Much respect
  21. They are easily the best at developing talent right now Because they have a very pro scheme on the offensive line, and a lot are ready day 1
  22. Actually offensive line is harder to play than ever before and there's totally a shortage College lineman are not coming in prepared like they used to, and it's taking extra long for them to find their groove because the college spread Their technical skills , communication skills and knowledge of scheme are all a lot worse than 15 years ago. The only positive of the spread on offensive lineman, is that it tires out the defense quicker and the pace is to your advantage But skills-wise we are at an all-time low for offensive line play. And the NFL still does not run a majority spread offense
  23. I think Jackson needs to understand that people of all ethnicities Creed's and religions have been put through hard times And that he needs to understand what he's quoting. Which he clearly doesn't It's just anti-semitic trash and not based in fact And I don't have numbers but their were Jewish slave owners. Just like there was Baptist and Presbyterian slave owners
  24. I was trying to be conservative on some numbers so I thought I said atleast 50% didn't own slaves But I brought out my notes and some states are higher and some are lower but it averages out to about 25%-30%. With only 1% being massive plantation owners with 100+ slaves... The 1% are always the most powerful in any time period
