I don't doubt that seeing I don't watch much rugby But the style of the sport and how they get things done are just vastly different I don't recall many 70 yd set kicks in rugby with a blocking scheme tho I could be wrong

I'm not going to discount him at all but I also don't think people should prop him up as something he isn't. He is an athlete in a new sport. He is an unknown He's probably going to have a hard time to make the active roster this Season and I can see the exemption again I root for all our players and I hope wade balls out and can steal a job. Punt and kick returns are totally different. The blocking schemes and the way the ball comes off the foot Not too mention the time it takes the gunners to get down the field is way faster I did both and KR is 100x easier than punt returning, not even close. leodis mckelvin was one of the best punt returners in the league and he couldn't handle punt returning without putting it on the carpet It's tough

At the highest levels. The NFL, division 1 football.. it really is a thinking man's game. Sure the physical tools are great but it's what's between the ears that separates a good vs. Great player I could write 200 pages about the intricacies and nuances of the sport. The chess match which takes place being my biggest passion throughout my life it's amazing to think all the football knowledge I've learned , retained ,passed on to others .. and am still learning because you're never done learning I remember my high school coach letting me draw plays on a whiteboard because I was just on a different level lol
