Bills prospect LB Chazz Surratt
Buffalo716 replied to YoloinOhio's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
McDermott's big nickel replaces the slot corner. Chazz would have to be able to cover slot receivers 1 on 1 , I don't think that's a role he's fit for -
Seems like a great wing. Long, super athletic, plays above the rim.. can pass .. really pumped to get another forward of his caliber He has been shooting up rankings last 6 months
-
With Trevor Lawrence 😉
-
His athletic limitations certainly hurt him in the Syracuse offense.. he needs to really work on finishing around the rim like you said... Because he is below average at that for a Syracuse guard A lot of it are his athletic limitations as you said... What you think about benny Williams?
-
And they know they're taking it. I took thousands of hits playing running back for over a decade I could have played wide receiver and taken 75% less hits.. but guess what I wanted the Rock in my hand Like etienne , and most rbs. They know what position they're playing, they want the Rock

With the first pick in the second round of the 2021 nfl draft the jacksonville jaguars select WR, Kardarius Toney, Florida Toney is a playmaker who will add speed and athleticism to our WR core. He can play outside, slot , and even some handoffs.. a versatile piece for lawrence The jets @Bleedingreennc is on the clock

We talk about this with the bills and a lot of Syracuse players.. arent players allowed to grow and develop? Again I don't think he should be getting 30 minutes a game the way he's playing.. but he absolutely showed some promise as a true freshman, and had a down sophomore campaign Buddy only shoots like 4% better from 3. It's not like he's 10-15% better.. And buddy gets to run off screens and set his feet and shoot.. joe shoots threes off the dribble, pulling up, and from the logos.. if you just let him run off screens and catch and shoot he would be a lot more deadly like Buddy It's harder to shoot as a point guard But I agree kooks needs more minutes
-
To be fair, boeheim has been ridiculing and roasting reporters for 45 years The snarkiness is nothing new
-
Boeheim has said all year that Joe is an underrated defender, and that he's actually a better technical zone defender than kooks and Buddy rn.. just that kooks freelances more according to jim. I know Joe isn't your typical SU guard, but he's definitely a way better shooter than his stats show.. somebody with his range is much better than okay And he was averaging like six assists per game the last few games Again I think kooks is going to be a much better basketball player But joes going to be absolutely deadly as a senior for whatever team he's on.. hopefully SU still.. in whatever role **Regarding Jimmy.. I have no idea the type of player he is either.. I always thought I read he was bigger than buddy though, and I figured he can shoot lol
-
Really? Where does he slot ? A 3 and D at the 4 spot , or is he a 3? And boeheim needs to make it work with Girard and kooks.. Girard is still an underclassmen with unlimited range If I had to bet I would say he's going to be really really good next year.. and that's not to say that kadary isn't going to be the better player they just have different roles and both roles are really valuable to the team.. a small ball lineup at times with kooks, Girard , buddy, guerrier(boeheim?), Edwards has a lot of scoring potential
-
Sure McDermott might be looking for that person. But it's not going to be as big as a package as what most people think Maybe 15-20% of snaps. At most And in McDermott's defense he's replacing Taron johnson, a really good nickel corner who does a bit of everything for us.. when Taron goes down we replace him with 3 guys platooning haha
-
yeah I called him a single high safety but for some reason put position cornerback LOL I'm obviously drafting him as a safety
-
There was no competition for Girard. Carey was a bust who couldn't play... Howard washington had a stroke and brycen goodine wasn't developed enough Girard would've played 10 minutes a game , if there was an established vet.. Girard responded well but Jim wouldn't have been playing him if he didn't have to
-
Boeheim says if sidibe is healthy he will return As for the transfers. Id be surprised if richmond did.. as we only have 2 PGs and he's guaranteed good time.. he knew he wasn't playing 30 minutes a game.. Boeheim has always had freshman point guards in a timeshare.. besides Ennis Boeheim was the ONLY coach recruiting Kadary as a PG... Which we all know he is deft... Other coaches we're recruiting him as a small forward Jim still knows what he's doing with recruits and I think he can sway Kooks. He lets him do his thing on the court

With the 25th lick in the 2021 NFL draft the Jacksonville jaguar's select , S , trevon moehrig, TCU Moehrig has all the traits you look for in a single high safety.. from his size , speed , to athleticism.. he has soft hands and reads a QB like a book... A great addition to the secondary The browns and @Rc2catchis on the clock
-
If Jesse Edwards continues to develop , we have all the pieces to win a national championship We are a dominant big man away. We have size, athleticism, shooting ability, playmaking, and a five-star scorer coming in
-
@transplantbillsfan hang in there buddy. We're all feeling rough rn From where we were in February, this team has overachieved, and gave us a fun year Jim will reload To be fair boeheim always uses his sixth Man great and waiters was always on the court late over Jr Brandon triche.. even played more minutes on the year off the bench But I hear you Jim , always has a short bench and prefers guys with experience. .. even nba star Jerami Grant came off the bench his 2 years
-
Jesse Edwards finished today at a plus 10 which validates your point that he was active on defense When asked why he took him out with 2 minutes left in the half, which Houston went on a 10-0 run... Boeheim said jesse was tired
-
I think it's a good shot when Jesse is getting a lot of playing time and those reps your talking about He definitely has that in his repertoire, he just needs game time
-
I can't disagree with you. Edwards was actually very active in the middle of the zone today He was deflecting a lot of balls He just has a hard time right now holding rebounds in his hands. And you're right guerrier lost some that were maddening, same with Buddy and Joe You are right
-
We can agree to disagree. Our whole team had problems with the physicality But Dolezaj has been our most important player the whole season. We run the offense through him at the top of the key And I'm not trying to say Jesse had a bad game. I'm just saying I don't think him getting 10 more minutes would have made us win the game.. you win as a team and lose as a team And he has a fouling problem which keeps him off the court for extended periods.. Next year, he should be a pretty nice player. He has nice offensive potential
-
I think Edward was solid, but like Jim has been saying all year.. he does struggle with physicality and I see it Yeah he had six rebounds but it easily could have been 11 + , And hes a little quick to foul Once he starts holding on to the ball consistently I think he will be really good.. like Jim says he's just not fully there
-
💯 Griffen is going to the Chinese basketball association
-
Definitely. He has that finesse game but it's not fully there yet And when he's getting 25 minutes a night and he's in rhythm that might be a good shot attempt.. in that fast break moment Edwards did make a bad decision.. but you live and learn this whole season every time he gets in he always takes a 15 ft jumper lol it's definitely in his repertoire he just needs to get it to game speed
