It's been proven that play action is effective whether or not you're running the ball effectively All it takes is a linebacker to look in the backfield for a split second and that's all it takes Sure there's some linebackers that don't fall for it, but as I said, watching film for 30 years, and looking at studies.. play action is effective regardless of how you run

Is the Bills window smaller than thought?

Mahomes won the super bowl in 2020. It's played in January or February Doesn't matter when the league year started. The super bowl this year is played in 2021 I just stated a year -

Bills' O-Line depth is remarkable
Buffalo716 replied to Inigo Montoya's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
The cohesion I'm talking about is mainly they are all on their second year practicing together, at least. Besides Williams And I always try to be civil. I wouldn't be here just to be a douche -

Originally you said, all of our backups would walk into starting roles on other teams That makes it sound like they could all find multiple teams where they could start at, pretty easily Everybody here thought Spain was a quality lineman, and he is pretty good. And he's on a practice squad Line play has as much to do with your system and the people around you as it does with your talent. Wyatt teller is playing like a man possessed, and he was just all right here The right system can do wonders for your career, they're all professionals I still think ty would have the best chance at starting on another team. I don't think Bates could start at center when all centers are healthy, he'd have a chance with a few teams at guard same with Ike. but then again there's 20 other backup guards in the NFL who think the same way We have cohesion, which is huge -

I think we have really good depth, but that statement is definitely not true Allen masks a lot of the deficiencies honestly Nsekhe would have the best chance at starting on other teams probably, and he couldn't even start really at Washington We have a lot of guys who can play in our system -

Justin Zimmer...most athletic DT in the past 15 years
Buffalo716 replied to Big Turk's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
You can't teach his heart and hustle And athletically is a freak. He should have at least two or three years in the league Colleges and pro teams have done that for a long time Doesn't always pan out Adolphus Washington was a end, that Ohio State converted to a penetrating tackle. Was supposed to be that quick pass rusher inside, that moves like a defensive end Unfortunately he just didn't have the strength for the NFL level -

He's been playing defensive tackle for 6 years now Sure he's still green compared to other NFL veterans, but he's a pro I've been around division one and pro football players my whole life, every single one is oozing with talent I hope he becomes a beast, he made the play of the game the other day You can't deny his hustle -

I don't know if you could say his upside is huge That's like saying he has potential being an all pro And his physical skills are actually going to start diminishing in the next year or two He is in the prime of his football career right now, physically and probably mentally, which is why he's playing the best ball of his career I'm excited for him but he basically is what he is, and he's in his prime now -

He's 28 years old. He is basically peeking There's not much room left to grow. It's a good story but he is nowhere near the potential to be a Kyle Williams type guy Kyle Williams was starting 16 games in the NFL at 24. This kid is closer to 30. Great story but I don't think there will be much development -
Why the defense got it's mojo back
Buffalo716 replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
That statement still stands Holding any NFL team to that amount of yards in a half is impressive If the bills had four yards in a half, we would be going furious I said it's something that they could build on. -
