  1. I don't disagree with that at all. They obviously have put out a good amount of great talent... But how many draft picks have they had in the last 10 years? Around 85 How many are contributing to their NFL team? How many are stars? I'd say it's 50-50 whether they contribute or are not much.. Though since that run that you mentioned they have put out high end talent.. maybe 10-13 pro bowlers / all pros maybe a few more But yeah, most bama players are physically maxed out and supremely well coached, so lots of them are already at their ceiling... Unless you're an underused guy like Josh Jacobs who has more left But you generally know what you're getting. And that's a solid but not spectacular pro
  2. It's hard to crack a saban running back room as a freshman He had over a thousand yards from scrimmage as a sophomore.. if you don't have patience Nick saban is not the coach for you
  3. For sure. He's one of the best players saban has ever recruited If this was 1975 he would have been the first overall pick
  4. A guy like Levi Wallace to me is actually the mold of guy I'd be looking for from Alabama.. as a low risk project A talented high school kid who just didn't have the size.. 140 lb as a senior... But you can't measure heart.. and work ethic.. the two biggest factors to making a football player And that's the biggest difference in the pros, heart and work ethic will beat talent everyday Give me the three-star guy like Josh Jacobs, who was the best pro running back on the roster, yet didn't even start in his time in Tuscaloosa... That grind, and work ethic, and determination to play is something that you can't count physically... But it means more than any 40-yard dash time or physical talent
  5. My point is Alabama is not some special NFL factory. The majority of draft eligible players from bama are jags in the pros You need to really do your due diligence on Alabama players.. because most are not Julio Jones And that's not to say that Alabama isn't the best college program.. just having the best college program doesn't always put out the best pros, because they are all so good it's hard to tell the true difference makers
  6. He would be the best slot corner in the NFL hands down today He was a beast and real force in run stuffing as a corner
  7. Alabama is a factory for top notch college football players.. it is not a factory for top-notch NFL players by in large. Saban uses up 90% of his players before they ever even reach the pros It's the special ones that come out of Alabama ready to dominate the pros.. the majority are already at or over their football peak by the time they graduate Alabama, because Saban gets every ounce out of them
  8. Minneapolis is a cesspool Yeah reallocating the police budget is such a great thing to do hahahahah Look what happens without law and order
  9. Yeah that play with marek was definitely strange I do believe that the Boston college kid disputed the call and got teed up
  10. Eh, I grew up with no blood no foul.. I loved the old big East because it was so physical.. and it always benefited Syracuse teams because our players are physical The ACC is so soft honestly, I hate the league and the officiating.. the league just doesn't fit Syracuse and boeheims play style honestly .. Syracuse Pittsburgh Georgetown Connecticut all benefited from the physical big East.. the schools were built on physical basketball
  11. Guys haven't you been reading my posts all these years? It's me with the voodoo dolls... And they seem to work on everybody but Tom Brady wtf he's voodoo proof
  12. I'm surprised anyone under the age of 95 is named Phyllis
  13. Good win Marek needs to start being more aggressive, like today.. he's really good with the ball in his hands for being 6'10 And the coaches have been telling him for years he needs to assert himself.. when he does we are a different team
  14. Kadary is so smooth goin to the hole.. he has a full repertoire
  15. This thread isn't about Patterson. It's about his stablemate And he's never going to last until the 5th round (Patterson)
  16. Honestly to play devil's advocate, Indianapolis was a joke when they drafted him, and Jacksonville was actually a very good young expansion team.. Went to two conference championships within their first 4 years.. something tells me if they got the draft Peyton Manning they would have been all right
  17. Would be huge. We need a legit big man again
  18. I mean it's still easy to act like a leader when there's still time on the clock left. And hypothetically some hope When it's all over and he's pointing fingers... Well... You know Josh would have went up there and said I didn't play good enough
  19. Totally an act lol It's called being an attention ***** lol I know I've done the same exact thing
  20. Lived in Buffalo my entire life
  21. Hi @Ice bowl 67 hope you are doing well
  22. Life.... Life is going on Kiss your children and tell them and your parents you love them.. you never know when it's over
  23. Sure Jaret Patterson may have became a household name this season, deservedly so. But the Bulls always have another one in the stable and Kevin Marks is a thoroughbred. At 6'1 around 210 lbs he is lean and fast. A true downhill runner with a nose for breaking tackles and knocking off long runs This kid is about to get himself drafted after this season at UB
