This is the only social media platform I use. And I don't even know if this even qualifies But this is a messed up world. Up Is down and good is bad Of course everybody has the right to speak their opinion. But for the large part of the 20th century politics was not water cooler talk And everybody's opinions are different and it just causes more division. Politics has broken up families -

In my opinion politics should not even be brought up in interviews Remember the 70s and 80s and 60s when politics was never discussed? It's like religion It's a no-go discussion because it just causes friction Fromm made a mistake, as a 20 year old kid, every single person alive made mistakes at 20 He already got dragged through the mud, I think his name has already got enough stains on it -
Tom Brady said learning new playbook is tough

Football playbooks especially those with West coast verbiage are extremely complex They're like foreign languages Brady has been in an erhardt-perkins system his whole career and the verbage is very simple compared to other systems -
2020 Josh Allen scouting report
Buffalo716 replied to Buffalo716's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
It honestly doesn't surprise me at all, especially being younger still He has a howitzer, but he doesn't know how to dial in the distance yet. When you have good arm strength but nothing crazy, it's a lot easier to reign in that deep ball Russell Wilson is probably the perfect example who has very good arm strength but nothing otherworldly.. he doesn't have to dial in a howitzer, so he just naturally has some better touch Josh is still learning how to reign in that overwhelming arm strength -
2020 Josh Allen scouting report

I think I mentioned his red zone in his strengths. I know he was extremely efficient I just didn't throw stats out He absolutely is a monster threat in the red zone -
In hindsight, it wasn't a bad idea, given that we were able to trade back and get Tre which has eased the pain of losing Gilmore You have to also realize that 15 years of ineptitude, really had me questioning if our new regime was right. and at that time I probably would have just rather had Gilmore But now I absolutely trust the regime and they absolutely have had a plan
-
I absolutely thought he was worth every dollar belichick paid him. On the bbmb i was very vocal that Gilmore was our best player and deserves the payday. Rebuilding a team is one thing, but he was absolutely filthy Gilmore all pro in 2018 with the Patriots while giving up five touchdowns. His last season here he had 5 picks and only gave up two touchdowns , while being locked down all year. He deserved to all pro, and was easily one of the top three cornerbacks in the world
-
I was Gilmore's biggest supporter for years and I honestly thought he was vastly underrated and an All-Pro talent He played more cover 0 and cover 1 coverage in Buffalo than any other corner in the NFL. He was asked to execute the hardest coverages and was still very very good He just gets away with more in NE where In buffalo he was called for the weak stuff I always knew the guy had all pro talent and was elite. Tre just plays in a way more friendly scheme

Allen vs Mahomes Throw-Off Challenge Officially On?
Buffalo716 replied to Sharp1128's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Sean doesn't have to sign off on it. Josh doesn't have all those clauses in his contract The difference between a homerun derby and a throw off, is a home run derby makes you adjust your swing to swing for the fences that could potentially adjust your swing for a little bit. Josh doesn't have to change his throwing mechanics for a one time throw off -

his closed stance which is poor lower body mechanics/ footwork effects the arm angle. I wouldn't say it's an upper-body mechanical error but a lower-body flaw which effects his motion And there's a lot of people on this board who admittedly can't even tell the difference between man or zone coverage. They like the bills it doesn't mean they know anything about x's and o's There's honestly not a lot of updated Josh Allen scouting reports on the net, and probably not many if any that has more info than mine And I wrote it up for the board which has varying degrees of knowledge to talk some ball I do have some semi recent threads on the complexity of McDermott's scheme system and play calling which are much more complex Go bills! -

I honestly didn't write many notes rewatching the games. I just typed this out when I had some time His upper-body throwing motion is super crisp. He changes his arm angle when he has to get it over players or around them His lower body mechanics were definitely improved from last year, but still super inconsistent. His foot placement and width still need a lot of work I just forgot to add that to the weaknesses cuz like I said I typed this all out off my head.
