Read my post right below yours He is universally thought of in football circles as a great quarterback coach who can turn an offense around The Denver debacle is way more on Russell Wilson… Hence why Russell apologized to Nate after getting him fired… If you put in all the work you don’t need to apologize to your coach in the NFL He got a below average EJ Manuel and a retired Kyle Orton to work with… He prepped Kyle Orton in a new offense to the most passing yards per game in bills history before josh Went to Jacksonville where he had very average Blake Bortles… Was his quarterback coach , offensive coordinator and play caller…. Helped lead the jags to the AFC championship game And coached Blake Bortles to over 4500 yards and 35 touchdowns… Both would be Bill’s records pre-Josh Allen He’s a much better quarterback coach and coordinator than Dorsey

Is it the drafting or the player development?

I don’t think Ford was a name that got super hot a year early Seeing as his guard play at Oklahoma was underwhelming… I had a sixth round pick on him His last season playing right tackle shot him up boards to a top 60 pick … His guard play was mediocre -
That’s not true … First the Denver problem was as much Russell Wilson as it was him And I’m a huge huge Russell Wilson fan… The fact he apologized to nate after he was fired showed he didn’t put the work in… There’s no need to apologize if you gave your best in the NFL second, in Buffalo the guy got the ghost of EJ Manuel and retired Kyle Orton … And he took Orton into an offense he never learned… and had us within 1 game of the playoffs and the single most passing ypg in Bills history at the time then with Jacksonville he was QB coach , OC and calling plays … Helped lead the Blake Bortles jaguars to the AFC championship game… Where Bortles had over 4500 yards and 35 touchdowns on the season both would have been franchise records pre josh … His ability as a quarterback coach and an offensive coordinator is absolutely not in doubt I’d rather have him then dorsey

Bills fans eyes are full of beer goggles Nate Hackett was the quarterback coach and offensive coordinator calling plays for the Jaguar team that went to the AFC championship game With a very average quarterback in Blake Bortles Hackett coached him up to over 4500 yards and 35 passing touchdowns… Both would’ve been franchise records before Josh And it’s not Blakes talent.. It was Hacketts coaching ability to get the most out of him Russell Wilson mailed it in in Denver hence why he apologized to the head coach he had fired… If you did your best you don’t need to apologize Our problem here is we stuck Hackett with a terrible quarterback in EJ Manuel And then gave him a retired Kyle orton And again Hackett made Orton click into our offense Is he built to be a head coach? no The dude is a really good quarterback coach and a better offensive coordinator than what we have

Beane didn’t even draft Milano, he wasn’t even here he wasn’t here for Tre or Dawkins or Milano picks which helped change the future in 17 draft

I think Russell Wilson , Who looked disinterested from day one, And took a huge pile of cash… bears a bit more of the blame honestly And I’ve always really liked Russell Wilson… Pete Carroll knew Enough he can move on… And he was a shell of himself who seemed to not care in Denver The fact he apologized for the way he played after Hackett was fired… He knew he didn’t put in the work though I never considered Hackett Head coach material and it showed , I think he’s a really good quarterback coach… who’s capable of being a OC
-
Not every coordinator or coach is bound to be a head coach…. I certainly wouldn’t want him as my head coach I think he’s a better QB coach and OC than Dorsey There’s a lot more in Denver going on than Him

UB gets commit from 3* JUCO QB Gunnar Grey! He has some ties to the Syracuse area… tall kid… rapidly developing! Nice get I think he can push cole

Tons of coaches have lots of respect in coaching circles and get trashed by fans and pundits Hence why guys like Nate Hackett are whipping boys as the worst coach ever lol But he has enough respect in NFL circles to keep getting legitimate jobs Because his scheme is respected But around here he is the worst coach ever… Some posters hyperbole , is so far gone they don’t even realize Hackett double Dutied being QB coach and OC calling plays for a jags team that went to the conference finals revived Blake bortles career to season numbers over 4400 yards and 35 tds … Would have been franchise records in Buffalo before Josh But the guy is very incompetent lol There are coaches who coach for 30 years in the nfl and don’t sniff a HC position… leftwhich is gonna have to grind the old way as opposed to Jeff Saturday who was handed a Job for 32 people in the world … just because

Fangio runs a 4-3 under disguised with 34 personnel… we don’t have 3-4 personnel I don’t think he’s coming here… he doesn’t have the guys to run what he wants effectively
-
Idk how it got posted in this thread it was for the cup thread that’s why I deleted it go bills and Sabres!
-
It’s funny How after a decade of futility the Sabres bandwagon is back open And yes they have a lot of young talent They’re absolutely not as good as the Buffalo Bills are rn … As evidence by five playoffs in six years… An AFC title game appearance And having Joshua Patrick Allen The Sabres conference is loaded… Even with all their young talent they’re gonna have a tougher time making a cup run than the bills rn The sabres have a bright bright future but their conference is a meat grinder … the bills have a easier rode rn
-
The 90s bills teams were loaded and have none sometimes it takes as much luck as talent unfortunately
-
Dan Marino is a Hall of Famer and considered the best passer of all time lol You’re acting like he was Brian Brohm lol
-
Levi will probably need a year of seasoning in the ahl most college goaltenders even great ones take time to adjust… And yeah he’s a great pipeline goaltender with potential… he’s not a sure fire too 5 nhl goalie He has a long way to go to be hall of fame Ryan Miller and Hašek… Realistically he never reaches that height
-
Still missing the most important piece … goaltender I haven’t been posting here much the last 24 hours because all the negativity But the Bills need to be smart making a couple moves… They are not in rebuild mode The Sabres are three years away from being Stanley Cup contenders The bills can absolutely contend for a Super Bowl within the next one or two or three years if they manage this properly It’s about being smart , not drastic
-
Beasleys not bad… The problem is you’re talking about a player on the plus side of 31 He’s probably healthy since he hasn’t played all year… But he’s also not the player he was four years ago Add to the fact Dorsey has been running a college level offense all year and defenses adjusted 6 weeks ago and he hasn’t … well it’s no wonder the bills WRs are having trouble separating
-
Did you hear the announcers talk about how the weather will help the passing game yesterday? It makes the defense play softer coverage… They don’t know where you are going, and you do It’s all advantage to the offense if you can execute Problem is they have three guys plus Hayden hurst who can get open fast…. Bills have digs and we have to keep Knox in to block the majority of time If the bills had their three weapons at wide receiver we would’ve been cooking their guys all game to
-
Any SU player comparison you get from watching him?

Hollywood is all about money You are crazy if you don’t think lawyers would be all over a lawsuit if they thought A toddler acted in a movie which corrupted his future Like being in a scene which effected his psyche for the rest of his life If a toddler on a movie set got messed up psychologically or physically on a movie set I’m pretty sure there would be multi million dollar lawsuits… Multi multi million dollar lawsuits
-
I was wrong about home field advantage…
Buffalo716 replied to LabattBlue's topic in The Stadium Wall
The snow didn’t hurt the Bengals passing game The bill struggle because we don’t have any wide receivers outside of diggs to get to open consistent Even the announcers yesterday said the weather favors offenses… Because defensive backs have to give more of a cushion and only the wide receivers know where they’re running Problem is they have three really good wide receivers and a really good tight end.. We have one really good receiver and one good tight end Their guys get open fast -
Umm just to play devils advocate…. You admit it might be staged There are infants and toddlers who are in movies and shows … scenes were commotion or disturbances happen Hollywood attorneys don’t seem it effects those toddlers to much because they would see dollar signs if they had a case for abuse now a child growing up around real abuse and neglect and hostile environment? Sure , absolutely horrific If this was actually staged , then Everybody in the room would know it’s not real and there wouldn’t be a lot of tension Opposed to a real break down where tensions are extremely high When the camera cut off if they’re all laughing and smiling… Oh my God that’s such a funny video.. I don’t think there’s a lot of trauma If the camera cut off and he starts throwing things around the house and breaking everything well it’s a different story
-
Realistically who the heck is gonna hire him
-
@Miyagi-Do Karate GMac … browns lead recruiter said of him … The first time I watched him,” McNamara said, “I had the thought of this could be the five-star kid that is rated a three-star that everybody who’s a five-star doesn’t want to play against.”
