I’m not lying. I’m going to put it this way. I’m in no way confused about what I’m seeing. You can tell me I’m wrong but it’s ridiculous. All of the years I’m speaking of -we never stop the run. You can look at misleading stats. The truth is, every physical team blows us off the ball and has whatever they want on the ground. We are allowing way too many big runs and guys are either stopped for a loss or going 6 or 7 yards before they are touched. We are terrible tacklers, teams just gash us whever they feel. The truth is our offense is so great that most teams can’t stick to the run. Most of the time we are scoring enough to where teams are forced to come off of it. In tight games where teams can stay physical, we are always giving up backbreaking runs and drives. - we can’t get off the field on third down. It doesn’t matter distance. If a QB is patient, we won’t get to them and a guy will be open somewhere. How many times have we felt good about making two stops only to turn around and be let down? We constantly give up long drives that flip fields and or lead to points. It’s like clockwork in the playoffs. There is no way anyone can watch this defense and feel good about third down. - we NEVER make a big stop. Every single time we are in a tight one and need to get the ball back, the other team scores. It’s constant. I can think of so few times in this guys entire coaching career where I thought momentum was changing and if we get a quick 3 and out and we actual do it. It’s so disheartening and it’s so plain as day predictable. There’s no way to play complementary football because we can’t ever get the other team to punt. - we never force 3 and outs. How many times have we punted a team deep, or kicked off to start a game only to watch the field get completely flipped? How often have we felt a tide turning or had a chance to go up multiple scores only to watch the other team go on a long drive that ultimately puts us either behind or back on our own 10. There’s never a time that we just get a team to punt. Make a normal quick stop and get the ball back for our offense. none of this is in my head, it’s all happening right in-front of our eyes for years. The only thing we ever did well was force turnovers. That’s bull####. That’s luck. It’s not sustainable and you can’t rely on it. That’s not about playing good defense it’s just a bailout. Some people don’t want to see what’s infront of their own eyes. If you don’t think our own offense is the only reason our defensive stats aren’t even more damning…idk what to tell you. Im not just saying this to say it.

What part of it isn’t true? You’re becoming extinct out here. In the beginning it was all fun and games. Now almost everyone else can see it for what it is. I have watched every single snap of the McDermott era. You gotta look past the stats sometimes and take the rose colored glasses off. It’s all good. You’re not going to ever come off it. The defense is why we haven’t won a Super Bowl. This is the theme. Split hairs with what years it came off the rails. You don’t think our defense blowing that giant lead in the Texans playoff game or the chiefs running up and down the field on us in 2020 was why we lost? How about 13 seconds? How was that? It’s the same thing every year. This is now somehow even worse. I didn’t think it was possible

2018 is a wash. There were periods of 2019 where the 2 all time Safeties we had were still erasers and turnovers covered a lot of issues. The defense cost us the playoff game in 2020 and in 2019. 2017 was the 1 year we were good. After that offseason teams wrote the book on it and it was flat out, if we aren’t turning people over we aren’t stopping them

So what’s the point? Fans should be worried about this and stop caring too? The fans know most owners have little or nothing to do with anything football related. They cut the checks. The GM and the HC make most all decisions that will directly affect the team and if they don’t win, usually they get fired. How many minutes of your life do you spend caring about what an owner thinks? As long as they aren’t selling the team, less is usually more

I was happy when he left it bothered me how he never ran the ball and I like Brady but I think we should bring him back. Maybe the combination of these two can get us there.

Please don’t focus on the defense. Please fire himself from the room. His ideas are worthless. Please go play madden with some 13 years olds and learn some common sense game management. It’s year 9, you probably should learn how to use timeouts and challenges at some point. Please remove him from the defense. I want him to be a HC for appearances only. He brings nothing positive to the table

That Giants job becomes really enticing now with an actual QB. One can only dream that the GM Bills ties could somehow convince McDermott to want it

I’d say bring him back to work with Josh more than anything. You don’t have to fire people but maybe as a supplement to Brady. If McDermott has an issue with by all means fire him. Any reason to get a new voice in the defensive room is cool by me.

It absolutely is true. We are way past the point of you flying in to take bullets for the defense. We have already let 3 guys run for over 170 yards on us and it’s only week 10. There are games we don’t give up a ton of points but there are a ton of factors in that. Mainly turnovers. You’re never going to see it. It is what it is. I have been saying it for years and you just always do this. Agree to disagree the defense is absolutely horrible. Against the panthers they were good. They have had about 5 good games since 2020. They are a disgrace

It’s as crazy and simple as it sounds since 2020 offense best we ever had, only reason we win maybe 5 bad games in 6 years all people talk about defense since 2018 horrible every single week cant get off the field on 3rd down, can’t force 3 and outs, cant stop the run, never makes a big stop and can’t get to the QB. less than 5 good games in 5 years nothing but excuses and gets ignored. what ***** Sense does this make?

Yesterday was rough but I’m not worried about the offense. The offense actually has earned the benefit of the doubt from me. They have been excellent for 6 now and they can course correct. The problem with this team has remained since 2018. The defense absolutely sucks. There’s no way I’ll ever think that can change again. There was a two week turnaround where I actually felt hope but then a team just said enough and showed us the flaw. We are never going to win with this scheme. There is way to much nickel, the MLB is way to small and we are setting edges from way to far away. Unless this coach gets fired or told directly you are no longer allowed near this defense, we will never win. This guy has wasted the entire prime of the best player we ever had and there seems to be no end in sight. The offense will be fine. But we have an expiration date as usual because of the coach and his defense

The best our offense has looked this year is when we played with tempo. I’m assuming everyone on the team feels that way you can visually see the change in body language. It was what we did against Baltimore, it’s the only thing that worked yesterday, it was here and there trying to get caught back up and it was effective at times before the end of halves. Even the run has been better with tempo. I’d say kill the long, slow monotonous drives and start playing with some urgency. It’s absolutely when Josh plays his best. You have to live with the risk of a mistake but it gives us back the sharpness

I fear Josh is going to have to get away from us if he ever wants to win. He’s going to have to Matt Stafford this thing. I feel so bad for him. We’re stuck with this coach that has only gotten worse somehow over time. Josh deserves better

You gotta get Colman off the field. Whatever he is or can be…he’s not good enough. Please start working in another guy on the outside. Samuel, Moore or Davis. One of those guys needs to play opposite Palmer. I don’t care if we play Shakir on the outside you just have to come off the Coleman usage. Bernard as well. He has to go to the bench. I don’t care if he’s a captain, I don’t care what he was…it’s over. Make the move now and start trying to change the direction of this thing going forward. There’s a lot of season left but we have seen enough time know what’s not working

Are you kidding me? Yes. Of course it is. This might be the worst one so far. We couldn’t stop the saints FFS. Our defense is killing us. The bills were the number one offense in the league going into today. Do you watch the games?

The offense scored 30 rushing and 30 passing TDs last year. It’s the only reason we are ever even close to good. It’s the reason we have won the division 5 years in A row and it’s even we won our first playoff games in almost 30 years. The offense is why we are relevant and why we were perennial Super Bowl contenders. The defenses is why we haven’t won a Super Bowl yet. It’s why we couldn’t win the 13 seconds game. It’s why we got embarrassed by the bengals. It’s why Houston came back on us and it’s why the chiefs beat us every year. I’m not doing this. This teams problem is, has been and will continue to be the defense. And much more specifically the guy responsible for lining it up. The offense is all we have. That’s why we lost today. God knows you aren’t wining with 13….the defense would NEVER make stops to give you a low scoring cheap win. That thought wouldn’t ever even cross anyone’s mind.

This is just how it is the offense has one or two bad games every year and it’s all people talk about. The defense has one or two good games in 8 seasons and it’s just a laundry list of excuses. It’s not fair for the offense to have to score 30 every single game. You have to operate in reality. The defense never holding their own kills us. It’s completely ridiculous that we spend so much time complaining about WRs. We had the most productive offense in the league going into today. Why are we ignoring the real issue?

The names of the coaches that would do a better job won’t fit on this screen. Please don’t think that way. I do not think the roster is bad I think it’s almost all coaching. There are probably 30-40 guys alone that would be better coaching the defense. That’s not even factoring in the coaches that actually have offensive mindsets.

Turn it over to 45 and 42 and let Milano play the WLB on obvious passing downs. Please stop going to nickel as often as we do. You gotta put 3 LBs on the field. Never being able to stop the run is killing us

In the simplest way of asking how many chances is McDermott really going to get? I mean when the guy first got here Andrew luck was still a franchise QB. Thank you for reversing the fortunes of this team but how many more chances is he getting? Every single one? Does he get Josh’s entire prime? Does he get his entire career? Like FFS man when do we say enough? Before this guy is a statue…we gotta see if someone else can get us what we want. You can’t just keep writing off seasons. Nobody is getting any younger here. Is the guy going to get 10 chances? It’s truly ***** us here. You gotta go to McDermott and say like, you got this run. Get to the Super Bowl or can we move you to the front office? This ####### can’t wait to defer the toss or punt a team back but we never stop them. We should be wanting to get the lead asap because we just literally can’t stop anyone, ever. 2017.
