His usage and positional responsibility was the thing that changed this defense. I don’t think it was necessarily all him but the guy was a monster. We need to get a guy to fill that role and ask them to do the same. I think whatever that gave us was changing the entire defense in a positive way. Stand a guy up like that and use him the same way. There must be a LB that we can trade for with a similar skill set

Go get a LB that can play fast and physical and rush the passer. Play him the way we were playing 55. There’s no real reason to add a Dlineman. We have so many guys. And I just want the big bodies inside. Get a guy that can stand up at the line and run and make the QB uncomfortable. That’s what 55 was giving us. We don’t need a DT the dude was like a big LB

The offense is going to hold their own and probably considerably more. They ALWAYS do. Which is infuriating. To ask them to be on every drive every game is irresponsible lunacy. All you need is the defense to hold their weight and nobody can beat us. The problem is they never do. Asking your offense to score TDs on every drive and pray for turnovers is not sustainable. Thats when we haven’t won one yet. I’m not comfortable with it at all. I hate it. I wish we just were a normal team and made stops. If we had a slightly above average defense we’d have a ring already.

I’m not overly concerned with replacing a DT here. I feel like for the most part what we need are space eaters. I think what we gained with 55 was almost like a Lorax hybrid pass rusher. Like a thick stand up pass rusher. I want to see a guy like that added. Like a guy that can be moved all over but be disruptive. We have plenty of bodies inside. We are doing to much with thinking we need all these DTs. We need a guy to make the QB uncomfortable and for whatever reason those guys need to be standing up in this defense

Imagine how good he’d be by now if this coach just put the best players on the team. We are like a little league team. Everyone gets in. Just platooning starting CBs and Safeties. Literally no other team would even conjure up this lunacy. The backups are backups for a reason. This isn’t pre season. Play the good guys the whole time. Like every single other team

The whole thing is the broncos and chargers have to stay up. They can’t fall back if they keep winning this can be real. But I never trust the chargers to be real

It’s probably not super realistic but you might get in a spot where you have bills pats chargers broncos if the ravens get it rolling Steelers and colts jags have a tie breaker if they can hang in there its not absolutely sure that KC is going to walk into the playoffs. imagine if this loss sets them on a slide that has them not make it. There’s a lot of so what we beat then in the regular season all the time. Now we have beaten the ravens AND the chiefs. There a big deal. Also KC is buried in the west now. We might be able to get through the AFC without playing them. Also we might be the 1 seed AND KC is the 8 now. They have 2 tough games up in a row. They might have a fight to get in. The only real bad plays were behind Bernard. Get 45 in full time and get Bernard on the bench. This was 2 good games in a row for the defense I love it
