  1. https://buffalobiketours.com/mumbo-wings/ A write up on John Young and his contributions to chicken wing lore and history.
  2. I know the Giants technically play in New Jersey, but should he maybe now be called 'Manhattan Style Crowder'? ๐Ÿค” * 2nd week of training camp. ๐Ÿ˜
  3. Never mind the bollocks of comp picks, here's the Bills chance to right a wrong by re-signing Robert Foster!
  4. 'Hide the Salami' is the obvious answer. And yet another thread that really belongs in 'Off The Wall'. ๐Ÿค”๐Ÿคจ
  5. Jets just making room for all those WRs that Rodgers is no doubt bringing. ๐Ÿ˜
  6. California Coolers, $.50, Wednesday nights. One of the original Mighty Taco locations was the same side as Gabels, a bit further west. Art went to North Buffalo, after years of running Artones in South Buffalo with his brother Tony. Artones still exists, with many menu staples that Art also featured. Art passed away in the 1980s.
  7. Ironic that Mrs. Bellissimo's granddaughter went to grade school with me (Buffalo P.S. 80), it was her uncle carping there was nothing to eat that prompted Mrs. B to invent her well known version of the snack. In the late 1970s, I worked across the street from Art's Hoagie Hut on Hertel Ave., and Art already maintained that John Young was well known on the east side for capitalizing on a part of the chicken that few others deemed worth using, aside from soups.
  8. OP! Here's $10, please edit 'David' out of the thread title. I want to see if anyone buys the suggestion that the Bills are bringing in Trentative to teach Allen that the short passing game CAN be your friend. ๐Ÿ˜
  9. In the dead of the off-season?! * Dont'a, be like Vontae! * I call dibbs on the T-shirt rights! ๐Ÿ˜
  10. Teammates, lock up your mothers!!! ๐Ÿ˜ณ
  11. Dearest mother, I hear my old company has just accepted a horseman whose skills are well known, and who has a talent for cooking over a campfire. My heart calls out for another campaign with my brothers in arms. Your loving son, Captain Andrew Luck
  12. And make sure you don't enjoy it!
  13. Always interesting to see these families which span many years, and their subsequent descendants. Bride the Second's father was the oldest of 14 surviving children; my wife has aunts and uncles younger than she. Grandfather Herm didn't believe in a television, apparently. Many of her first cousins are just now beginning families.
  14. Newton to the Jets! I want to see him rock this Chrysler Building hat!
  15. Fashion mavenista.
  16. Thread definitely falls into Franken's and Davis's old 'What If?' skits category, from the early years of Saturday Night Live. *
  17. There's a line forming of people whose lives Zach Wilson is going to be making miserable. Probably with all his whining. ๐Ÿค”
  18. Now I know how Jerry Hughes felt. ๐Ÿ™ * ๐Ÿ˜
  19. โ˜๏ธ"Keedz god aleegador blood. Gand ged reed ov heem!"
  20. After seeing all these out of town media reports, it's either the hardest working player agent in the NFL, or someone needs to check the basement for pods. ๐Ÿค”
  21. I would be interested in seeing what variations McKenzie could bring to the 'pulling a Jakobi Meyers' play. Also, New England could use more BBQ joints. Everything now is just 'CHOW-dah'.
  22. There's 'hungover'. And then, there's sometimes 'still drunk'. *
