  1. Uuuuuuuh... NO! I was there! The Bills won the opening coin toss — no surprise on this day — and they proceeded to run their no-huddle offense to perfection. They had the Raiders gasping so badly for air that after Buffalo had advanced 55 yards in five lightning-quick plays, the Raiders called timeout to regroup and catch their collective breath. "That was the greatest feeling that I've ever had in a game other than putting points on the board," center Kent Said Kelly: "I remember (Raiders defensive lineman) Howie Long telling me on that drive, 'Come on, Jim, slow down.' " Kelly never did. Four plays after the timeout, Kelly dropped a shotgun snap, but was still able to scoop it up, escape danger, and throw a 13-yard touchdown pass to James Lofton and you knew something was up. The rout was on.
  2. Yep. But, since they average ONE Offensive TD per half- don’t count on it!
  3. The Bills can’t & won’t dominate anyone this Season. The O simply can’t score enough points!
  4. ALL, I can say is that it is a very good thing, the Clowns QB- L’il Napoleon said what he did. Perhaps, he might make it out of Q1 without being cold cocked! Get the popcorn ready, as Heinz Field will be like Nero & the Coliseum!
  5. There is something to that. Tomlin coulda been sending a :” We play you again in 2 weeks (that should be fun?) and we’re not giving up.” Kitchens is an incompetent buffoon, far out of his depth!
  6. As a Canuck, I’m used to the travesty of NHL Penalties for much, much more violent assault than that! Buuuuuuut, Roger is perceived as an out of his depth cream puff, who takes ALL barrels now, whatever he does! Could indeed be longer, because of that. Other fines & suspensions as well (Pouncey). And then, there’s this: Freddie Kitchens on ESPN:"Do you think the team's out of control?""No. I think people get helmet-to-helmet contacts every week." ???? Kitchens should be turfed because he’s a clueless, incompetent buffoon- with NO control over the Clowns!
  7. 4 is reasonable. Knowing that, the League might try 6 to get the 4 on Appeal.
  8. At the time of the Kap debacle, he was easily the Stsrting QB equivalent on a dozen teams. Does he still have the talent to be a Backup on crap teams like the Bungles, Jets, Broncos, Skins, Bears, etc after 3 years of rust? Possibly.
  9. THAT has been a given with this Head Clown- irrespective of that Gong Show!
  10. The Clowns... Finish it off in fine fashion! Brawling, Helmet Tossing, Kicking, Fines & Ejections! Wyche said it best... “You don't live in Cleveland.” ??
  11. NO. Why would anyone? The Bills Offence behind Allen and run by Daboll scores ONE TD per half! ONE! And I’m getting old here, waiting for the turnaround process to work. Perhaps, my memory is slipping, were the Bills kicking arse against the Fish going into the 4th. Quarter at Home? ?
  12. I would say that ANYONE questioning the QB skills of ANY Bills QB this millennium is not even being sharp. They just have their eyes open and have been proven correct- EVERY time! The meter is running down on Allen. He has the rest of this Season and perhaps half of the next, to improve his Passing accuracy & vision of the field.
  13. Don’t get me started on how much I’ve lost on them- going with my fan heart over my brain! Had 1k on them in XXV to cover + lost another $400 on simply winning the game, when Norwood screwed us all!
  14. Eliminate playing your division teams twice. Play a second conference series. Playoff seeding based solely off record Eliminate franchise Tag Modify Transition Tag - If home team matches, the contract only counts 80% against their cap. (ie 100 mil deal only counts as 80 mil). Get's 2nd round compensation if they don't match Cut players get 50% of dead money from deal Deals, including rookie deals, can't be re-worked until the last last year of contract, unless certain incentives are met. Eliminate Thursday Night Games (I personally like them, but players seem to hate them) Ref grading system. They can be either fined or removed from future games. ALL existing Refs need to be sacked & replaced by Division 1 players who don’t make the NFL & have significant Wonderlic Scores. Weekly grading. In addition, HD cameras everywhere to determine In Bounds & Touching the Turf wrangling. Teams keep challenges that are won Move Kickoff back to 30 yard line or remove kickoffs altogether. Remove KOs. There is no use anymore. Holding becomes a 5 yard penalty Illegal contact no longer an automatic first down Offsetting fouls including personal fouls, not offset. Personal foul trumps Overtime is a full 15 minutes. With the TD requirement, some ties came after only two possessions for each team Remove the blackout policy End the priority deals with EA and DirecTv I agree with everything else- some much more strongly than others! Great job! ?
  15. I bet EVERY week, kid! But, I try NOT to bet against the Bills.
  16. 100% Agree. BOTH Daboll & McD were clueless about his 0 for 50 yard attempts, Daboll more so, by NOT calling the T.O. on 3rd. Down to get the best possible 8-10 yard play for Allen. Which would have meant a makeable 40 odd yard kick! EVERYONE watching the game saw the graphic!
  17. ‘CULTURE’ is actually a yuuuuuge factor in NFL success, let alone life. Everyone should listen weekly to the Lombardi podcasts, a modern day genius on nailing aspects of various NFL orgs and a pretty decent prognosticator ATS (26-13-2) . They are very, very funny as well! He has worked for a couple of legends of the game and is friends with Billy B. The ‘Culture’ excerpt from his book:’ Gridiron Genius’. CULTURE COMES FIRST. You can have the best game plan (or strategy or tactics) , the best team (or product or service) and the best players (or engineers or salespeople) and you may achieve short term success. But if you haven’t created an underlying ecosystem of excellence, short term success is all that it will be. Lombardi’s other critical points: PRESS EVERY EDGE ALL THE TIME, BECAUSE ANY EDGE MAY MATTER ANYTIME SYSTEM OVER STARS LEADERSHIP IS A LONGTERM PROPOSITION YOU’RE NEVER DONE GETTING BETTER (Of Course, whether any of these bullets reside at OBD- is the ONLY question!)
  18. Pre Season? NO misses, thus far. WK1 @ Jets. WIN (1-0) WK2 @ Giants WIN (2-0) WK3 Bengals WIN (3-0) WK4 Patriots LOSS (3-1) WK5 @ Titans WIN (4-1) WK6 BYE (4-1) WK7 Dolphins WIN (5-1) WK8 Eagles LOSS (5-2) WK9 Redskins WIN (6-2) WK10 @ Browns LOSS (6-3) WK11 @ Dolphins WIN (7-3) WK12 Broncos WIN (8-3) WK13 @ Cowboys LOSS (8-4) WK14 Ravens WIN (9-4) WK15 @ Steelers LOSS (9-5) WK16 @ Patriots LOSS (9-6) WK17 Jets WIN (10-6) I am now sceptical of beating the Ravens- obviously. After that horrible loss last week, likely to be 9-7 & possibly miss the Playoffs.
  19. I’m assuming this is a real question. This is the answer. Football can be bet multiple ways (in legal betting bricks and mortar places + on line) through a myriad of options. The two most common are Point Spread OR Money Line. In this scenario, IF you bet the Bills -6.5 on the Point Spread, you need to put up $110 to win $100! For you to cash, the Bills must win by 7. The extra $10 (10%) is the charge (juice, vig) for making the bet. NOBODY does this out of the goodness of their hearts! It’s a biz. OR, you bet the Money Line. In my own example at the Bills being favoured by 6, you need to put up $260 to win $100! (I don’t ever do that- some do) Conversely, if you want the Fish, you get the +6.5, but it still costs you $110. OR, you take the Fish on the M.L. for $100 and can win...$215 (with my line) That’s your 100 + 215= $315. Capiche?
  20. This game is not a MUST win situation, in the event you think the Bills are gonna make the Playoffs! THAT was last week, because 9-7 won’t cut it and there are too many deficiencies at: the OC position, the eedgit Kicker, Josh Allen’s painfully slow, 1 TD per Half, Offensive production to believe that Bills are going to steal one at Home v.s. Top 4 Ravens or Away on Thanksgiving in D or @ Dallas. However, Losing to the Fish would simply be embarrassing.
  21. Of course ! This inept O is averaging less than 1 TD per half. BRUTAL!
  22. I’m not blaming the D... not the entire year! This inept Offence and its buffoon OC cannot score more than ONE TD per half! That’s woefully below NFL standards!
  23. A for sure! But, this obviously points to a serious, serious liability for your franchise QB! As in... not good enough, in critical situations.
  24. What it means, is that if he can’t even throw ONE deep one, he’s never, ever gonna achieve the present day, modest marker for NFL QB success- 300 yards! Why? Because, only superlative QBs can throw for at least 20 completions of 15 or more or 25 of slightly shorter variety. Allen is not that guy! Waaaaaay to inconsistent and lacking the ability to find open receivers.
  25. Takes from yesterday. * Allen is merely an adequate QB. His strength (Running) can be his undoing, as once again- he fumbled in a critical situation-albeit being bailed out. His Passing ability (the reason Beane Boy went down to get him) is very, average. He obviously lacks the ability to EVER be within five yards of any intended Receiver on a long Go route and he lacks consistency on the short stuff! THAT is a deal breaker. In addition, he simply cannot read open Receivers after the primary one. If progress is not seen, the Bills need to get back to the Draft Board! * The WRs are Smurfs. As I’ve said for a Millenium, Buffalo needs huge men for targets- especially in the cold, rain and snow of the back half of the Season. These are not good enough. * The OC is once again- substandard. Can anyone point to more than 1-2 of the nine and say- Daboll nailed the game plan? It is boring and inept- a killer in the NFL. * When that buffoon Hitchens outcoaches McD, that is a real cause for concern. McD is good, but by good, I mean in the 2nd. Tier of NFL HCs. Again... not good enough. * The idiot kicker? Can anyone explain why he is still here? If you can’t kick from 50 yards in the NFL, you are a liability. If you can’t make them from 30, you need to be out the door! * The D is sound, but not even close to being a monstah. It will effectively handle the stiffs, but anyone with talent- NO chance. * My realistic and just slightly optimistic 10-6 record is more likely 9-7, with a loss to the far superior Ravens. If they banana skin on one of the stiffs, it’s the same old, Millenium siren song of mediocrity & ineptitude! THAT IS NEITHER PROGRESS OR PROCESS!
