“Josh Allen really seems to have lost his feel for the deep ball. He missed McKenzie up the right sideline, and he overthrew Roberts badly deep down the middle. Can he only complete those passes to Foster? Not sure Allen has ever had "great feel" for the long ball. But I think he has been so scolded and abused about interceptions that his play is timid, and now he is throwing long passes that defenders have 0 chance on, but our receivers only have a 5% chance on. “ It’s a problem! And thus far, when he throws them, NOBODY has a chance to catch them! Sooo... the best of all worlds is learn how to freaking throw then! Next, throw them up- like every decent team does in a 1 on 1, believing your guy is better! OR.... stop bothering. It’s now become a wasted Down that the opponent knows is doomed to failure.

Just so you know, even in the 90s (yep the Glory Years) you could bring one of those orange Water Coolers into the Ralph... full of Beer! WE did so... more than once!

I’m a get off my lawn curmudgeon on this generic subject, although I find the Lambeau Leap amusing & entertaining. So, these contrived, practiced dance acts are meh to me. And I despise some ME, ME, ME clown, doing one, when their team is being shellacked 35-zip! (Even worse, the buffoon celebrating a Pick or a Sack under those circumstances.) I went to see a guy (not really the Team) play the Packers and Vikings in back to back years, in the 90s. He did, what he did best in each of those games. Cutting one way, stopping in a dime and then reversing for a 90 Yard TD! Followed by, handing the ball to the official. Act like you’ve been there before! As he had- 99 x! HOFer, Barry Sanders.

I didn’t say that there wasn’t improvement. There has been... slow improvement. 4th. Q leadership is an immense plus! * However, game Mgt. throughout and cutting off stupid errors are critical. *It is not the 300 yards that is a fictional goal. That generally means, the QB did not have to complete +20 completions of an average 15 yards. ONLY the league Superstars can do that. But, they can also toss 1-2, highly accurate bombs for TDs, to set that up. * There are more stiffs in the NFL this year, than I can recall for one year. The Bills are fortunate to be playing many of them in a sked oddity. I’m not overlooking the Ws- as previous versions this Millenium were life and death to beat even these teams. * As you go on though, the team led by its QB must get better against the non stiff teams. Because, there are no more Losers left in the Playoffs. Virtually 100% have winning records, some yuuuge spreads between wins & losses. Know what the record was for the Bills pre McD & Beane against Playoff Teams? Horrendous! 1 in 5- 20%. And waaaay worse on the Road. I have confidence, but let’s see a game, where we can all say- hey, got the W and they freaking steamrolled those bums like the Contender they are!

Yeah. Punched out a lotta words to justify acting a bit clownish. I don’t know if there are any rules for that section, but obviously they might need to clarify. I used to sit in 334, where ANYTHING went and numerous security related stuff happened! So, I’m not a prude, but no longer a punk arsed kid, who thinks he’s more important than the game!

I don’t think that’s exact. Everyone is enjoying the ride and the piling up of Conference Ws. Hell, it’s so rare, how could we not? But if the music stops and these meh performances start turning into losses, that’s the concern. We need to see improvement at the prized position. We need to see a 2019 QB throw for 300 yards. This means, that he’s hitting 1-2 deep balls per game and THOSE haven’t been remotely close! The ability to get the 300 opens up the Running game- and not just HIM. Excellent @ 5-1. But, better performances are necessary, if you aren’t just rolling the stiffs! Less stiffs in the back half!

It’s all sunshine beating the stiffs! It’ll be all darkness, if they stop! Allen has to correct his known deficiencies or the Bills are going nowhere!

B As Bills fans, I’m afraid we’re going to have to settle for what we’ve got. Allen keeps winning games, which given the Billstanic we’ve witnessed this Millenium- it’s the only thing! He makes a few stupid mistakes. He is terrible on Deep Balls! Because of this, he will never throw for 300 yards, until this highly annoying deficiency is corrected. The Bills are fortunate... in 2019. They play an incredible number of sub par stiffs, where high QB ability is not required for victory. Ideally, Josh will improve, as the Season continues, so that one day, the Bills will both get the W and Allan will perform like a star. No, not Rodgers dropping balls into outstretched hands after 30 yards, but quality throws everywhere. We shall see!

Winning is everything! Winning and playing well, is so much better!
