  1. NEITHER! Hate both, but we need the Girls here.
  2. There is a highly obnoxious, racist old, Cowgirls $#@& at the bar my posse goes to watch the Bills! He gets preferential treatment (sound of the game), because he’s been there longer. On the days that the Bills are up and the Girls are down, I yell out... for the entire bar to hear: ”How bout them Cowgirls?” Unfortunately on Thursday, we will be making our Granddaughter’s first Yankee Thanksgiving Dinner at her home! (If the Bills are pulling the upset, I may call the bar and ask to speak to him!??????????)
  3. I DO NOT, ABSOLUTELY DO NOT WANT TO SAY THAT! I have witnessed live and in person, over say a 6 year period of Season Ticket holding a Bills team that went from Good- Excellent- Playing in 4 straight Roman Numerals. In their best middle Season of that run, I never believed they would lose ANY game! That’s how great that K-Gun team was! So far ahead of its time. I have been watching the reverse through virtually this entire millennium. Sub standard players, abysmal & conservative HCs, GMs that were waaaay over the hills stiffs, because the owner was familiar only- with a Septuagenarian. ? And oh, could they find ways to lose & did. So, I’m overtly cautious about this puffball Schedule of All Time. And indeed, prior versions couldn’t have even done what this team has already. Does that however, make them, a good team, one where I can name a half dozen this year and there would be virtually 100% agreement? Should they win this week and fall on their sword against the next 4, easily better teams, to finish 9-7, do you think that is ‘progress’? We’ll find out about the QB for sure- which we need to. The bar needs to be higher here, as in... you’re damn right we’re making the Playoffs every year and winning Playoff games. We are certain of neither, yet. Btw, the only thing I have nailed so far is my pre season prediction on EVERY game, with a 10-6 finish. So, I did not expect- this year, the Bills to fall flat. I do have them winning tomorrow.
  4. They’ve beaten all the stiffs & the weak sisters. That’s good- because NO other Bills team this Millennium has done it! But... Therein, lies the exact issue- small increments satisfy most Bills fans. Soooo, AFTER beating the Broncos (yet another lesser team), how about beating TWO, just two of the Cowgirls, Steelers, Ravens & Patsies? THAT is being better!
  5. Sullivan and to a slightly lesser extent- Schoop, have harped on one incessant theme about Bills’ fans. That, because of the 5 Alarm Tire Fire at OBD & brutal on field play making, throughout the millennium, we the fans, have been conditioned to accept so little- as a positive. That is, just making the Playoffs, is considered a yuuuge goal. The obvious converse are Patsies’ fans, whose goal EVERY year is to Win the SB. Both Sullivan & Schoop, believe fans should demand more! I’m with them. Making the Playoffs THIS year is a reasonable goal.Getting to the AFC Championship, should be the 2020 one. We have yet to see that chart tick up.
  6. Sullivan has always been the black cloud. Invariably, he has been correct, on almost every subject- especially EVERY type of Mgt. at OBD. This type of pillorying does not win any friends! In this interview, he states that the Offense is far worse under McD than the previous rubes and stiffs! 100% correct, even if you want to subscribe to the ‘learning process’ indoctrination. On the Bills, the fairest thing that can be said is that this Season they have an increased number of cream puffs on the sked; but unlike previous teams- they are beating them. Good, but that doesn’t mean the team is good- yet. And after Sunday (where they should win again against an inferior team), they are up against it, for a month. Should they go 0-4, we’ll know exactly who they are... same old millennium mediocrity. Let’s see whether they are growing up.
  7. I believe I was seated in 334 for a generation, during the Glory Years! It was brass monkey cold! Do not underestimate it!
  8. I watched the end game live and saw it all. Thought everybody was punished appropriately, according to what they did! On the question of Tomlin’s decision, MANY have weighed in. Some, like Phil Simms, simply believe THAT is what you do, as an NFLer. Play to the end. Meh- ordinarily take the knee. In this case, I am with those who think this. 1) The Steelers stunk it up. 2) They took a head shot earlier from the Browns, right? 3) Rematch in 2 weeks. A kneel appears to be surrender. NOT a good look.
  9. I think the spread is about a point off. Should be -3.5. I expect and had predicted pre season that the Bills will beat the Broncos. Buuuut, this isn’t a Division 3 team like the Fish, Bungles, Giants or the Skins, that they should be whomping! More like Tennessee or the Jets, a lesser team, but not by much,
  10. If you noticed during last night’s game, Old Man Joan Rivers, barked out:” Cover 2” as part of his pre snap signals! Never heard that before and Rivers frequently gets the ball off at zero ticks.
  11. “I miss Sammy... “ Even better, on my horse here yet again, is that Beane boy needs to have a criteria to start before the Draft. Beanie... you’re the GM in snowy, blustery Buffalo dude- not Florida, not the a West Coast, not in a Dome!!! The criteria? MINIMUM 6-3”, preferably 6-4! And then calibrate how much better a slightly slower target in the snow, rain, wind & ice, these protypes would be, than the speedy Smurfs they constantly go after and are invisible to their QB. When the weather outside is frightful in the Season’s back half, Allen needs yuuuge targets, ones where his accuracy is lessened, because all he has to do is throw the ball up to a Gronk or Whitten prototype. How OBD fails to see this, over and over and over, is beyond me!
  12. That is hard! Really, hard to do. Except? The elite Top 10 QBs (think #1 Rodgers) have that skill. Allen, absolutely does not! This doesn’t make him a poor QB, but mid pack ones, simply aren’t good enough. He needs to get better at these types of throws. So far? ?? (As far as the WR adjusting, sometimes, that’s correct. Came into play on the final play of the game, when Wentz tossed up a floater. The Receiver, having 3 yards to the end line, did NOT keep running and instead, jumped a yard to soon.) But, I really think, that is not the issue with Josh!
  13. After beating up on the Division 3 Fish, this comparison comes out? ? Watching the league this year there are a lot of mediocre to bad QBs Allen is still developing but I would take him over these starting QBs: Darnold Fitz Whoever in CIN Rudolph Baker Mayfield Brisett Tannehill Foles/Minchu Denver's Allen Rivers (2019 version) Trubisky Wentz (yup) Daniel Jones Haskins Winston Carolinas Allen Goff That's 17 guys I'd rather have Allen than as of today. Waaay more than me, if you phrase the question as to who is better right now? Imho, Goff, Foles, Rivers & Wentz need to be removed from the list. Allen is in the same sentence as Mayfield & Brissett, perhaps a touch better than Rudolph or Minchu. In any case, to be an effective, weekly star in the NFL, you need to be in the Top 10! Tenth would be good enough for me. Allen is not. He’s now in the second grouping from 11-21 and not near the bottom.. If he gets the Bills to 10-6, I’ll say carry on the evaluation. 8-8 won’t. Realistically, it’s likely to be 9-7 against the easiest sked the Bills have had this Millenium. Let’s see what transpires versus: Baltimore, @ Cowgirls, @ Pitt @ the Cheatriots! THOSE are the tests.
  14. Once again, the Bills beat a stiff! The REAL test comes after the Broncos game, which I expect them to win: @ Cowgirls on Thanksgiving Then Ravens Then @ Pitt Finally @ Patsies. I’d be satisfied, no thrilled with 2/4 of those. One of 4 is essential to make the Playoffs! As for Josh, these are his strengths as I see them so far: * Explosive Runner, especially on the Rollout & getting out of the pocket * Quick, short slant passes for First Downs * Roll out throws to the sidelines. * 4th. Down sneaks, because of size and ability to make a quick decision. Minuses? * Can’t throw deep with any accuracy * Has difficulty with multiple reads * Has trouble making some quick decisions * Lacks the ability to rack up a huge passing game, leading to TDs. * Lack of touch on medium length throws to the End Zone. Verdict? Keep analyzing the rest of the year.
  15. Exactly right! They are good enough to beat all the stiff, Division 3 Teams, but have failed against anyone else.
  16. CORRECT! Finally getting this correctly, even in Ground Zero Cheatriots’ country!
  17. Maybe, not. Already seen one today, ala Ertz in the SB. Caught, ran with the ball & crossed the plane with Possession!
  18. So far, so perfect. WK1 @ Jets. WIN (1-0) WK2 @ Giants WIN (2-0) WK3 Bengals WIN (3-0) WK4 Patriots LOSS (3-1) WK5 @ Titans WIN (4-1) WK6 BYE (4-1) WK7 Dolphins WIN (5-1) WK8 Eagles LOSS (5-2) WK9 Redskins WIN (6-2) WK10 @ Browns LOSS (6-3) WK11 @ Dolphins WIN (7-3) WK12 Broncos WIN (8-3) WK13 @ Cowboys LOSS (8-4) WK14 Ravens WIN (9-4) WK15 @ Steelers LOSS (9-5) WK16 @ Patriots LOSS (9-6) WK17 Jets WIN (10-6)
  19. Whole other Quarter to go against Division 3! Don’t let them in and give them hope.
  20. Not sure about that, yet! But, he sure as S puts out! ? On those long rollouts, I wish he’d slide on most of them (not a TD one, of course). But, as a big man, he also has the Brady sneak down cold & I really like that. Needs more consistency- absolutely, to be a certifiable winner!
  21. You know Fitz is gonna fling it! He doesn’t give a S about being conservative.
