  1. If he's tackling and making plays on the ball, then I'm just as happy to have him returning a punt as returning an interception. I think he very well might be viewed as the new age hybrid type. If you are saying few interceptions = no production, then I have to disagree. I'd have traded a couple of Gilmore's INTs for some more hard/technically sound tackles.
  2. This is your brain. This is your brain on illegal NFL celebrations.
  3. Re: bold - C'mon, I mean I agree he's not a slam dunk elite type prospect, but if anything he's proven that he can play football at a high level all over the field. I think a lot see Peppers as a Shaq Thompson/Troy Polamalu/Tyrann Mathieu type who makes plays and could very well end up a Pro Bowler (not that such a title means anything). But yeah, agreed that Tankersly seems like great value at 44. Darby, Tankersly, and Seymour CB1-3... OK.
  4. That's how I would think of it
  5. Just spitballing: 1 Peppers - LB/S - Michigan 2 Tankersly - CB - Clemson 3 Smith-Schuster - WR - USC 5 Davis - DE - UT-Chattanooga 5 Langley - CB - Lamar 6 Evans - QB - Virginia Tech I know, I know, not many like Peppers this high, but it just seems like a good fit schematically. Thoughts?
  6. Cannot wait for if/when SNL does a skit on this
  7. I need to see more from Watkins in the way of consistency and availability (the best ability) to call him top 5 talent. He'd be lucky to crack top 10.
  8. McCoy, DiMarco, Incognito, Dareus, Hauschka
  9. Woodrum, obviously. But actually, Jones. If the price was right, would fans be against Fitzpatrick? Seems a top-end QB2 to me. Similarly am in favor of Keenum.
  10. I wish this was how Andre Holmes announced he was a Bill.
  11. I'll take a made-to-missed tackle ratio of almost 10:1.
  12. Even if his play did regress as the year went on, tough to say that he's not a key depth player at the very least.
  13. Have most definitely been hoping that Z. Brown, Robey-Coleman, Graham, and/or A. Williams come back at discounted rates. If those 4 guys are on the roster as depth, then we're in better shape than without them. Robey-Coleman as CB5 and Graham as S3 would be ideal.
  14. Engram, but he likely will not last until our 2nd round pick.
  15. I like the idea, but think we can go WR2 in rounds 1-3 and WR3 in round 5. Specifically for the latter, I'm thinking Cannon out of Baylor.
  16. Anyone else really high on Powell? I thought his play in camp deserved more time on the field than he was given.
  17. Been asking this somewhat regularly: could Engram not fill WR2 and TE2 nicely?
  18. re: both above, he's been in the league 8 years and played with Brady before, so doubt he's about to blossom as a WR, but please B Tate by all means prove me wrong not saying he is who I would take, but Peppers is the LB/S hybrid that screams "good fit"
  19. Happy about this re: return man, but does he really stand to add anything at WR? Would be nice for one year to have a gunner/returner who actually plays his position well. At least (knocks on wood) no KOS this time around!
  20. Would still like Aiken to be brought in to challenge all WRs on roster not named Watkins.
  21. Wondering the same myself. Google says he visited the Colts and will visit the Seahawks. Has played with Taylor and under Dennison, so they should have an idea of whether or not he would fit the offense. Given how recently he produced at arguably WR2 stat output level, it is odd that he is barely mentioned now. http://ebonybird.com/2017/03/18/reports-kamar-aiken-visited-the-colts-yesterday/
  22. Maybe Whaley is just assembling some scouting info before the draft
