  1. 716. Riverworks. Pearl Street Grill & Brewery. Cantina Loco if you're looking for Mexican food. If you need booze, you won't find a funnier named store than Beaver Liquors on Niagara.
  2. I don't want our QB, Taylor or not, throwing to where he thinks the WR might run the route. I want him throwing it to where the route was designed to be run.
  3. That would be a crazy sneaky move. I'd like it, even though I don't care that we parted ways with him.
  4. I heard a certain floor mat familiar with Kevin Kolb was seen lurking on the Bills sideline...
  5. Great breakdown, as per the usual, so thank you! Really wish we had some way to know what the intended play calls were for a few of these. It's been discussed ad naseum, but would love to know, e.g., which route Zay Jones was supposed to run on the last play of the game, whether that proves he ran the correct or incorrect route. Sucks we have to speculate on plays like that as far as attempting to assign blame to see who is and who is not doing their job.
  6. "Impellia is a company that develops software and sensor technology that can be used for injury prevention and performance enhancement." Would that not mean he now has a job where he can make football easier for humans to play? -- In other news, and possibly unrelated, but I've been wondering regarding sensor technology - how is that not used more often in NFL games? Unless I missed it, I don't think any of the footballs, pylons, or sidelines have them, but would that not make sense? Put a chip in the ball and chips in the pylons and you don't need to review whether the guy broke the plane because it can be mapped into 3D computer imaging. Maybe that's too much, but it seems like it could help get more calls/reviews correct.
  7. That Charlie Batch connection
  8. Gonna have to be a team effort reminiscent of Bills-Packers 2014.
  9. Agree insomuch as I don't buy that our WRs cannot get deep. Matthews, Jones, and Holmes can all go deep. Are they Treek Hill, Marquise Goodwin, and JJ Nelson? No, but they're still fast enough.
  10. Wait... that's not the case?
  11. "Now, you know it's up to you whether or not you want to just do the bare minimum. Or... well, like Brian, for example, has thirty seven pieces of flair, okay. And a terrific smile."
  12. Probably in response to the "Anyone is free and clear to harshly judge the rest of the game" part. Alpha's OP was spot on though. I stand by my initial fault assignment of 75% to ZJ and 25% to TT.
  13. Huge advantage: DEN is not used to playing in our low altitude. Got this in the bag.
  14. I think this is more than reasonable.
  15. There has to be at least some fault on both Taylor and Jones. I think there is more on Jones and would put a 75% Jones - 25% Taylor ratio of fault on it. It seems like Jones probably ran a little different of a route than was called for, and also that Taylor overthrew the ball a bit. We don't have a way to know where Taylor's throw would have been in relationship to Jones had he ran a correct route, so that is tough to judge. Regardless, I tend to stick to a general rule that if the football hit the WR's hands, then the QB likely did his job and the WR did not where the result is an incomplete pass.
  16. I would like to see blue-blue with the 90s red helmet.
  17. I'd like to hear KellytheDog's unique perspective on "unleashing"
  18. Buy: Tolbert - the guy doesn't call his own plays, but when they use him right (North/South and pass catching) he gets the job done; plus, he's willing to get stitches Sell: Dareus - was going to go Clay, but he's not playing bad, just below his pay grade; Dareus isn't playing bad either, but he's playing further below a higher pay grade than Clay; understand the snap count was a game plan thing, but would probably cringe at his $/play income Hold: Hauschka - that FG was u-g-l-y and had no alibi, but he's got a solid resume and looked good on KOs
  19. Amen. The QB's job is to give the player a chance to make a play.
  20. Wish it was at home. See that being a big factor. Re: giving McCaffrey his "Welcome to the NFL" hit, who do people bet will be the guy to deliver that from the Bills? My guess is Ragl Poyer.
  21. Maybe 2 if we don't plan on trying Groy at one of the OG spots. Incognito is no spring chicken.
  22. That's what Rex meant by "Building a Buli"?
  23. Posted this in reply to the original post, which was before the two threads that preceded this thread: all four of our corners are below 195 lbs, so we are definitely thin at CB.
  24. Agreed that, although couldn't ID as Zay, it looked to me as if TT had primary read to his left before finding Clay. Again, thanks for the time and effort put into this.
