Not much. It's a function of Roman's offense and the salary cap. Spending $$ on wideouts in a system that throws the ball at an extremely low rate is bad cap allocation. That team is set up around Jackson's talents and flaws for better or worse.
By the vast majority of relevant statistics outside running the football he is nowhere close to a top 10 QB this season.
Imo in that Reid/Bienemy scheme Allen would be putting up 90% of Mahomes’ stats
It’s fair points re: the offense but from what I’ve seen he still isn’t capable of throwing that team to a significant W
and he has looked bad in their biggest games thus far
I mean he’s 27th in yards and attempts, 30th in completion %, 22nd in ANY/A
That’s an objectively bad borderline terrible half season of throwing the football
One of the reasons this doesn't mean much is because whatever PFF thinks they're measuring by 'pass rush win%' is a lot less important in this scheme
