I was in your kitchen. Remember the time your mother was gone for 30 minutes making nachos? Those were Taco Bell nachos that I brought and your mother was, shall we say, promiscuous.
The Tampa backers took away the short zone. The Bills linebackers were unable to do so. Mahomes had nowhere short to go when Tampa pressure arrived. When the Bills pressured he had his pick of short passes because our LB play was weak.
Wholeheartedly agree. Our LBs do not get the job done and neither does our D-line. Tampa's LB play was so superior to Buffalo. I see no way Milano is back.
Our two most recent top picks are D-linemen. It's time to see some consistent play from both. I was skeptical of the Oliver pick and he's done nothing yet to prove my skepticism wrong.
The LB play was key and it exposed just how far Buffalo has to go on defense. The d-line comes in second for me. If the LBs don't do their job then the pass rush doesn't much matter. We badly need playmaking LBs (or at least one) & a DE or two who can pressure the QB consistently. The fact that McLeslie couldn't figure out a patchwork Chiefs o-line spelled our doom.
I know that this sounds like sour grapes, but...with that officiating crew things could have been different for Buffalo. I'd love to hear from those who started threads after the KC loss telling fans they were wrong to think the Chiefs got away with a ton. The KC defense was allowed to manhandle the Bills offense with no calls, yesterday was different. It is also true that the Chiefs made the Bills blink. Tampa did not blink.
He played it differently, I agree. Unfortunately, IMO, so did Allen revert to prior tendencies. We ***** the bed at the worst time, but hopefully a learning experience for all.
How many times do you remember Allen (seemingly) changing plays at the line? How many RPO’s did you see?
Allen had a very poor night except w his feet.
