Milano and Edmunds OUT against Miami

Not good not immediately shutting down the question about IR. I really do think Beane should be calling about Hassan Reddick -

I think If I am Beane I am on the Phone with Arizona and seeing what it would take to get Hassan Reddick from them. -

This is the one Position group where I have been worried about the Depth in it. I guess we will see this Sunday if it is good enough -

Two year deal with an easy out after this year. https://www.spotrac.com/nfl/buffalo-bills/vernon-butler-18978/ -
Not only with Diggs Production. One thing to look at is also how much he opens up the field for Brown. Granted Brown is an excellent WR to get open himself as well, but what are you going to do with these two. Jets played alot of Cover 2 because both Diggs and Brown can take the top off, that opened up the underneath and screen games, because they played so much cover 2. Watch what happens when there isnt 2 safeties over the top of Brown and Diggs. I also knew Diggs hands were good, but dang when was the last time we had a WR that took the hits he took all game and held onto the ball?

What does Darnold's performance say about Jordan Palmer?
MAJBobby replied to cage's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Says Darnold isnt taking the mechanic Training like Josh is.... Guess Josh is much more coachable. -
Is the "read option" by the Bills something you like?
MAJBobby replied to LB48's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
yes Josh’s Legs are a weapon. And I love designed Runs for him. However what I don’t like is calling them when up 21. At some point you have to say ok. This game is in hand all the extra hits on Josh are unneeded. get ready to seeing more of them Sunday. Until MIA shows they have figured out how to stop a mobile QB. -
First Positional Matchup to watch against MIA
MAJBobby replied to MAJBobby's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Yeah I think so, unless we really want to play Strength vs Strength. We are going to have to eventually as well, but I just dont see a big talent difference between WRs and DBs like I did with the Jets. -
Cap Space - Tre White Contract is on the books!
MAJBobby replied to ColoradoBills's topic in The Stadium Wall Archives
Me either. And I dont think they will have to do anything drastic as I do not think the cap is going to drop next year -
So was looking at where and how the Bills will scheme the Dolphins and one position grouping jumps out at me. Will be interesting in how the Very Good CBs of MIA in (Xavien Howard, Byron Jones with Noah Igbinoghene as Nickle) Match up against Diggs, Brown Beasley and Davis. I think the spot to attack them my be with the Running Game both Josh and Rbs (they couldnt stop the run against NE) and also get the RBs and Knox on their really bad LBer corp. Imagine Shaq Lawson trying to cover Knox downfield.

Other thing about the DT position, if Justin Zimmer continues to improve on what he did with the Jets there is easy cap space to clear at the DT position with him showing he can handle the load. Brown will stay through is Contract and likely even get a little extension. That is unless both Gabe Davis and Hodgins show by the end of the year he is tradable. The one that I am not sure of is Beasley. If Gabe Can get to where Beasley is at this year he may be the one that is gone for Cap Savings. -
He was Collapsing the Pocket ALL DAY. I am not sure what game you watched. He Will be Fine. Th luxury the Bills have there, they are very talented in front of Him. So they can take their time with AJ

Reason I think Edmunds was more cautious than anything. Is no Ice on the Shoulder, no Sling on it. Notice with LVE in Dallas the minute he came out was iced and in a sling and Boom Broken Collarbone.

Later int he week. But I can give you a Preview. Edmunds will Play Milano will be out (Bills ultra conservative with soft tissue injuries) Dodson is fine and will play Davis will come up for Special Teams

Cap Space - Tre White Contract is on the books!

Both the Owners and the NFLPA would not want a roughly a 25M drop in one year when the Cap has been climbing 10M a year since the CBA was signed. I think if anything as you said the Cap stays at 200M worst case with a 5M increase in 2022 and 5M increase in 2023 to offset. The PA wont allow that big of a drop in cap, alot of guys will lose jobs and teams still wont be able to sign them. -

For one more year it is. They will be fine I looked though the contracts there are alot of easy ways to free up money. -

With Butler you Save 6.85M by cutting him next year as well. So he could easily be moved on from -
Not sure what this is trying to say.. But you ALWAYS Defer

Milano needs to come with a Discount. Otherwise he cannot be given top Money IMO because the history with his Injuries. Cannot pay a player top dollar that has a history of missing time with Hammys. I Also do not think Next years cap is going to drop all they way down to 175M -
https://www.pff.com/news/nfl-2020-week-1-refocused-buffalo-bills-27-new-york-jets-17 Some excerpts. STORY OF THE GAME The Bills' new-look receiving corps was as advertised. All three receiver additions from the past two seasons had impressive outings. Stefon Diggs hauled in eight of nine targets for 86 yards with, six of those catches going for first downs; John Brown caught six of eight for 70 yards with a score; and Cole Beasley had four catches on seven targets for 58 yards. The receivers made life easy on Josh Allen, who picked up a good deal of his yardage without having to attack much down the football field. Allen’s 6.8 average depth of target was three yards shorter than his average from a season ago (9.8 yards).
