  1. I will say that I was very optimistic when Rex came in. My thinking was that with the talent we had on the defensive side of the ball, Rex could improve what we had and we would be very hard to score on. Obviously, I was wrong. That being said, I am very optimistic about McCoach and this team. I am really liking the approach to the draft, free agency and an overall seriousness about winning. I won't predict # of wins, as no one really can. But, if we stay healthy and everybody works their asses off, we can definitely challenge the Patriots for the East crown. You gotta believe. This can be our year that the tide shifts back. I think back to 1988. That was the pivotal year that got us on our way. All the pieces were there. I think we're in the same position now.
  2. I love that they ranked our 0 wins coach above three other coaches!! So....we've got that going for us!! And, that last picture of Belichick looks fake: He's smiling (which always seems like it is really painful when he does it. Look up his appearance on David Letterman a couple of years ago. It's like he doesn't know HOW to smile and/or laugh)
  3. I haven't really priced the Club Level tickets. How much more for single game tickets? Supply & Demand question? I'm in Houston, so I can't buy seasons, but will travel for one home game.
  4. I did the same thing last year. Came up on a Thursday night, took my boy to see Niagara Falls on Friday, Sabres game on Saturday, then endured the dildo-game against the Pats*. I'll try to do the same this year, but hopefully the results of the Bills game will be better!!!
  5. You are SO right!! I loved this play!! As an interesting video challenge, wouldn't it be great to show this right next to Orton's kitty play on 3rd and 1 against Denver? Basically comparing a real football player (HEART) vs. a paycheck-collecting bum (NO HEART)!! That being said, I still say we sign Fred in the offseason! Hell, I'd show this video clip at the opening of every home game!!!
  6. 'nuff said right there!!! GO PENGUINS!!! CROSBY IS A GOD!!! (not really!!!)
  7. Well, let's get him. Is he available? League minimum?
  8. Sorry, but you don't know that. Let's see what happens in September, not June. Right now, we're undefeated. Let's keep it that way.....
  9. No, but if you need 1/2 a yard and the guy is super respected in the locker room, yeah, $1MM is cheap for his contributions. How much did Reggie Bush steal from us last year?
  10. Damn! Always late to the party!! I guess I missed out on the good times.....
  11. Thank you for finding and posting that one. That play defined my hatred and disgust for Orton and the coaching staff keeping him in the game. 1 friggin' yard!!!! Kitty!!!!!!
  12. Growing up in Buffalo, I lived through the OJ years, the bleak late 70's, the Chuck Knox resurgence (loved finally squishing the Fish!), our blackhole '83-'85, the HOPE when Jim Kelly came to town, the '88 almost got there team, bickering Bills '89, THE GLORY YEARS, '99 Flutie Curse, and suffering ever since. Moving to Houston in 2000, one thing that is awesome is when people find out I'm a Bills fan, immediately they mention THE GREATEST COMEBACK IN NFL HISTORY and how they still hate the Bills for what they did!! I just laugh..... So, I'm good with remembering and talking about those years. Greatest time in Buffalo sports history.
  13. I love that we have one rookie, the LORAX, two former Raider wide-outs, JW and McCoach. Curious if others were asked and declined or if it's by invitation only. Just love the LORAX - class guy. Plus big points on Milano! Get on the coaches good-side (unless he strikes out or goes to the event drunk!).
  14. Maybe the Bills are waiting for that first of the month check.
  15. You can always go tramp-stamp, unless that's occupied already, too!
  16. I agree, however, I lean towards Lynch 2.0 trade. We still haven't seen Watkins full potential. Need to see him 100% healthy and a quarterback that can throw to him accurately (hmmmm....Peterman?) I still there's too much upside with keeping him. If he's great, then he's helping the team AND becomes a more valuable trade piece down the road if need be.
  17. OK - You DON'T think he cost us the Jets game? Really?? The Seahawks game I'll concede (even if he was a human track hurdle for Jimmy Graham, giving up a 1st down). Patriots game? Wasn't his fault, right? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DGyLW0rbWuo
  18. I, too, am optimistic for this upcoming season. I truly felt that Gilmore cost us games (Jets, Seahawks) and wasn't worth the high cost of retaining (he can't tackle!!). I like the immense focus from McCoach and the front office is looking very impressive. As a realist, I'm fully aware that none of that means anything until September. But, good draft picks and free agency signings make me feel way better than I had at the end of December. I really like Micah Hyde and feel he'll have an immediate impact. Zay Jones looks to be a challenge to Sammy (plus I like Holmes addition, too). Get Ragland back and see what he can do. Kyle didn't retire and I love that! LORAX is back and ready to prove that year wasn't a fluke. Shady is ready to rock. New kicker. And, add in Peterman for an actual QB controversy! Awesome!! Bring on training camp, pre-season and September!!!! GO BILLS!!!!
  19. Wow! First Bond this morning (Roger Moore) now Cortez. Way too young!!! RIP....
  20. Best? Ragland hasn't played a down in the NFL, yet he's among the best? MMMmmmm....ok That being said, hopefully, he does play this year and is among the best!
  21. Probably both, just in case it spreads. Can never be too safe!
  22. I mean, really, who cares. They could have graded us "A" or "D" and it still wouldn't mean a thing. When September comes, better yet, when December comes, then we'll know if anything of that meant anything.
  23. As many have mentioned, career-wise, sure, Brady has the numbers and the hardware. But, I loved Kelly's swagger and toughness. He was a gun-slinger, a linebacker player QB and I wouldn't trade those memories for anything. Brady is a kitty!! He complains to the refs if someone farts close to him. I don't care if they have more trophies - I can't stand him. I equate JK to Favre in a lot of respects. Favre is considered one of the all time greats, a true gun-slinger as well. But, only one ring. JK went to 4 straight. But, they both were tough as nails, loved the game and wanted to win every single time.
  24. And if Peterman starts and gets us to the playoffs? I think our needs change. Pure speculation. Let's at least start the 2017 season first.....
