  1. You do realize that if the offense wasn't going three and out most of the time, the defense would (1) Not be gassed by the end of the 2nd quarter, let alone 4th; (2) Prevent the opposing team from continuing to score; (3) could play more aggressive and not worry about "losing" the game
  2. We will take every advantage we can!! A win is a win is a win.... I don't care how we win this one. If we win, we are in a good position to run the table. Pittsburgh is not that great. Jets are done for. Miami will be the test, but it's a home game, so hopefully they'll freeze their sun-kissed asses off. The worst game I fear - the Browns. We can't allow ourselves to play down to them.
  3. Totally agree! Defense wins championships (when you don't have a real quarterback!!. See: 2015 Broncos; 1985 Bears; 2000 Ravens; 1988 Redskins)
  4. During the draft that year, I really thought the Bills were gonna take him. To me, it made sense, as he was probably the best player available and a UB guy. How often does that happen?!?!?
  5. ABSOLUTELY!! I really felt that despite losing Hogan in the off season and having Watkins out for an extended period, we still had receivers that were capable. I still think we do. Goodwin has done well this year. Powell has been good. Percy needs to be targeted more. Woods is still solid. But, the key factor in their success is who's throwing them the ball. Too many times TT has throw off target, but the receiver still make the catch, but the throw was so far off that he either fell to the ground or was off balance and the defender was right there. Accuracy is certainly an issue, but so is having THE BALLS TO THROW THE DAMN BALL!!!!! Stop worrying about throwing an interception (see Favre, Brett). Take a chance!!! Lately, on drives where we NEED to score, I'd rather have EJ in. I truly believe that EJ is a better two-minute drive QB than TT. And that's sad and not worth paying him in the off season.
  6. That happens every damn game!! But, you're right! Yesterday, he had Clay RIGHT IN FRONT OF HIM and still ran to the sideline on 3rd fing down!!! It's almost like he doesn't want to make the 1st down! I mean, I know I'm not on the field, but seriously, what the hell is he looking for?!?!?!?!? I mean, "COME ON, MAN!"
  7. and again in the 2nd and again in the 3rd and again in the 4th. But, at least he's consistent!
  8. AWESOME!! That one I laughed out loud at my desk! Thank you!! I needed that!!!!
  9. I have no doubt this will happen on 1st and 2nd down. Then on 3rd down, long conversion or bomb to Green in the end zone. Augh......
  10. His running is a strong attribute and makes him very dangerous, But, it's not that he's not a pocket passer; it's that his accuracy is WAY off the mark. Too many throws that put our receivers in jeopardy or with zero ability to gain yards after the catch. That's his biggest negative. I actually like his running and they should design more run plays. It throws off the defense. But, have to still be able to make the short, medium and long throws accurately when not running.
  11. Bills coaching staff: "They'll never figure out this one out! Put EJ in and we'll get him to make 'em jump! Works every time!"
  12. Agreed. On the last play that Darby got called for Pass Interference, from the replay, he didn't even appear to have touched the receiver. The receiver leaned hard to catch an uncatchable ball and trip all by himself. I thought the PI call was total BS. Gilmore IS a kitty. Got burned on a 3rd day play badly and then the human huddle against Graham was the topper!! Don't break a nail lil' girl!!!
  13. So, he didn't say to Woods in the huddle, "Woodie go long to the endzone." Doesn't it work that way? Maybe it should!
  14. He also seemed to be throwing more OVER THE MIDDLE passes. That I like and hopefully will continue with yards after the catch for a change. Things are looking more positive, however, I still think his biggest error is not seeing the field when under pressure or scrabbling. There was a moment in the game where he rolled to the right running and Hunter was wide open in the end zone. He never even looked and ran it out of bounds.
