  1. I thought they were fine. It's probably hard to talk for 2 hours during a blowout.
  2. Commanders have been doing that all game. The only way they had more than 100 yards.
  3. Yeah I've been a little disappointed in Rousseau thus far. He gets a lot of pressure which is good but he isn't getting home. Expected big things this year and haven't seen much.
  4. Definitely agree with that sentiment. But we have never gotten one of those DPIs. They need to work on the intentionally underthrown ball where the receiver can just stop short and cause interference.
  5. Nobody else gets this "forward progress" BS. The ball came out as soon as the hit was made. If that's the rule, fumbles wouldn't exist.
  6. Supply and demand is for the poors. If people aren't paying the exorbitant prices for NFL games on TV, suddenly it's "theft" and not supply and demand.
  7. It's only about a half hour. Even less if you're quick with the 15 second skip button. I automatically skip the first 2 minutes of intro / ads every episode. The episodes are also generally the same structure during the week. So if you want to hear instant reaction you listen to the next day's episode. If you want game film analysis, you listen to the next day. Then usually mailbag questions the day after that. Then crossover episode with the next opponent's host. Then injury update and predictions. I highly recommend it, but if you only have time for one or two a week you can pick the ones that are most interesting to you. Edit: I should note that I usually listen to the episodes the morning after they're posted but he actually posts them in the evening. So the instant reaction episode will be posted the same evening if the game is during the day, etc.
  8. This has probably already been mentioned since it's the obvious choice, but you have to go with hog. Everyone in that area wants to rename their team to the Hogs so get ahead of the curve and barbecue their hopes and dreams.
  9. All good points except for being equal to Josh as a runner. You said it in the last paragraph. He doesn't run the ball because he is soft. Justin doesn't have half the balls that Josh does. That's why he never runs and that's why he never comes up clutch. He'll turn the ball over less, but he's had better weapons than Josh his whole career and hasn't sniffed the same success.
  10. Haha I was thinking Cover 1. I think Joe picked it up from them. It's strange how quickly that phrase started being used in football circles.
  11. Build my stadium. Pay my taxes. Buy my tickets. Buy my merchandise. Watch my commercials. Wait no, not like that. Why aren't they paying to watch my commercials?
  12. He's not wrong. It was pretty dirty. We had already knocked the ball down when Rapp laid that hit on him and he clearly went helmet to helmet when he easily could have avoided the hit altogether. That being said, we never get calls when Josh gets hit in the head or Diggs gets hit while defenseless. Those calls are reserved for certain players on certain teams to be determined by the NFL's marketing team.
  13. Shocker. Hope everyone who fell over themselves to turn the conversation to child porn takes a long look at themselves. Don't be so easily fooled, folks.
  14. It's not Josh's responsibility to install screen plays into the offense or call them during a game. I mean yeah, he could check into them. But how do we even know he has those plays available if they never run them?
  15. Yup. Tell your QB to go make plays when the plays are bull ***** then get upset when something bad happens. OR draw up something with a chance of succeeding without superhuman abilities.
  16. You would think that a regime with a history of turning late round defensive backs into serviceable starters wouldn't waste a 1st round pick on a player who doesn't even fit their scheme but he we are
  17. Can't imagine why he was throwing to receivers who were covered. Could it be that there wasn't anyone open? Nahhhhh
  18. No he's not, but there are many ways to win in the NFL. Brady was basically an OC on the field but he didn't have the arm talent or rushing ability or scrambling ability that Allen has. Allen is not an OC but neither is Dorsey. You need at least one to win a Super Bowl.
  19. Yeah sure, everything was going so well up until those those turnovers. It was either punt or INT. I'm not going to blame Allen for trying to win.
  20. Agree with pretty much everything except the TE. Knox is better at pass blocking and had one glorious catch where he ran over a defender, but Kincaid is clearly the superior route runner and pass catcher. He is as advertised. Now we just need to find a coordinator who can utilize the best TE combination since Gronk / Hernandez.
  21. Yup. It's almost like special teams is a crap shoot and it doesn't matter if you pay 5 guys 5 times the league minimum to play only special teams.
  22. Play action is an amazing play. It's so good, it works even when you don't have a good run game. And Allen is one of the best QBs in the league when rolling out, so why not design it? I'll tell you why: because our OC is an absolute dip ***** who doesn't know the strengths and weaknesses of his players.
  23. But if you want to get real about it, the Jets' whole philosophy on defense is flooding the pass routes while only rushing 4 defensive linemen. There are no areas of the field they aren't protecting. And they're also good at defending the run. That's why you need to scheme up plays that either draw the linemen in too far to defend against short yardage plays or scheme up plays that leverage mismatches. Dorsey did neither.
