Ummm usually when a team plays really well - they win. Are you saying the Bucs or Falcons didn't play well? I'd say those are decent teams who we outplayed and put up a good fight. I think we blew out the Raiders, a team everyone thought was going places this year. Logic states that an elite OL and mediocre QB can have a dominant run game and thus win games. but a mediocre line and elite QB will not end well for the team and ultimately your elite QB will get killed.

We don't need a stop gap. We need a guy who can come in on day 1 and run the team. If Bridgewater or Bradford are the guys, then so is Tyrod. I would like to see a QB picked with our first rounder - not sure who yet. And see if he can beat out Tyrod. Im not interested in a stop gap. Draft a rookie...and if confident in him, let him start. Even Deshawn Watsom didn't start opening day for the Texans. Imagine if Savage just middled it and didn't suck so bad that they HAD to put Watson in? We'd never know who Watson was....

I think it's pretty clear that we won't be packaging anything to get Darnold or Rosen. Both will be gone to either CLE, NYG or NYJ. Best we should hope for is either Baker or Lamar or Allen at our mid round first. I'd be ok with either of them. Dont mortgage - use the picks you have wisely. Let a first round QB and a veteran QB (Tyrod or whomever) fight out for the starting position. If the first round QB is up to the task, he will win out and start. Use the other 3 top 50 picks on an OL, DL and LB. BPA

Without the Bills trading up, it looks like Rosen or Darnold are out of the picture. Which leaves Heisman winner Lamar Jackson as a possibility in the middle of the 1st. While he's not my first choice - Kid seems like a gamer to me. Anyone hesitant to give him a shot?
