Is it just me or is it far too coincidental that's Bennett is one of the few idiots who sits during the anthem? There are 1000 black guys who play in the NFL. I wonder why he's the only one this happened to (at least recently). Maybe I'm just too cynical and jaded.

When Sammy has another whatever season if he can last through it and we have to decide to pony up $10-15m per...we will be happy to have gotten a quality corner and high 2nd. Otherwise we lose him for nothing next year. Sammy was a bad pick - cost us 2 first rounders and the payoff was not there. Get rid of the Failures of the past and rebuild with high quality coaching and GMing. Shocking set of trades but whatever. It's not like we were a WR or CB away.

Imagine if EJ started 0-10? Come to think of it He wouldn't have made it to 0-5 without everyone calling for his head. Good for the Raiders who groomed the kid to be a young stud. Most teams, including and especially ours, think too hard about the greener grass on the other side of the fence.

I've been using this method the past year or so. It makes an absolute perfect steak. Better than any steak I've ever made. I've only used it on rib eyes but I imagine it would still cook perfectly with other, more mediocre cuts. 1.5 inch thick ribeye. Season liberally with salt and pepper. Put in oven at 250F for 35 min. Heat BBQ or cast iron as high as it will go (600-700). Sear steak for 60-90 seconds on each side. Top with herb butter. Rest for 5 minutes minimum. Just perfection. Medium rare the whole way through. Sounds weird. Must be a restaurant trick.

Our team is so well coached. At times (game 4) we looked like we had no business being in the playoffs let alone the NHL. But they stick with their system. Boucher is a master of sports psychology and Karlsson is arguably the best 2 way player in the world. At the beginning of the season I was watching Sens Caps and said 'this is your eastern conference.finals'. I also saw Chicago Sens game and said 'Stanley Cup Finals'. The truth of the matter is that I wouldn't feel any different if the Pats scouts all got canned. It's not a matter of satisfaction. It's a matter of indifference. Yes, being involved with a professional sports team is a sweet gig. If garden centre George gets canned from the job he loves....he will find another one and I don't really care. If he butchered my plants then I will be happy.
