  1. I give Smith some benefit because he almost took down the Pats with Delhomme. He was a beast for a few years.
  2. A feel good story and it brings more international attention to the game.
  3. Expect they aren’t even the odds on favorite.
  4. So that had inside knowledge about him, makes me feel even better. I loved Diggs coming out and still do. I’d probably not have liked Kirk Cousins either.
  5. I just don’t like when someone like Herbie uses their status to spout off about something that he has no extra information on. It just makes things worse and his guess is no better than anyone else’s. It’s just that he has a recognizable face because of his job.
  6. I like Cuban and in a time like this a little optimism goes a long way. Screw You Herbie.
  7. NFL careers are so short, the Owners and players have months to agree to a plan which would get the games played. Stadiums filled with people seems far fetched but so does the Cash Cows missing a meal.
  8. Corona Vs. Ed Oliver? That’s like Peewee Herman trying to fight Mike Tyson.
  9. Knox running some interference on a designed QB run would be nice.
  10. Is Steve Smith interested in playing again?
  11. A packet of EmergenC has 1100mg, I have been taking one a day.
  12. Yeah that’s the first thing people say when you tell them that. I laugh, I’m fine with people staying away. Staying in most the day anyways. A kid at the biggest local grocery store just tested positive. That’s another group of folks that deserve love and appreciation. They are in the middle of it and making peanuts. Not that money changes anything but I do give them a lot of credit for going to work.
  13. Zinc? I will try it. I have been eating raw garlic like a champ. It does hurt my stomach and give awful heartburn though. I’m paranoid so I’m trying my best.
  14. I wouldn’t say everyone was caught off guard, I have a coworker who is a bit of a conspiracy guy but very smart. One morning months ago, he showed me a WorldStar video of a Chinese woman explaining how their government was misleading others and people were dying in the streets. I immediately laughed once he said WorldStar and never gave it much thought. Then slowly this story become real life until we all knew it was inevitably coming here. I don’t write this because he believed it to be true, I write this because the information was out there for willing eyes. I do think to best handle a novel situation you need to discover it as early as possible and take the maximum amount of precaution.
  15. Same. I wonder what the odds for the division look like or if odds even exist until life begins again.
  16. Ehhh. Lots of people hated Manziel right out of college too. So it’s hard to say he sucked, he was at the top of the game coming out.
  17. Cam had a few good years, it’s the oh people are racist that’s why they don’t like him crap that annoys me. Manziel had the same kind of flash and cockiness, lots of people liked cheering against him too. It’s the attitude and side show that creates the love/hate dynamic for players like those.
  18. Is that related to this? I have ate enough raw garlic that my stomach is burning, I’d mix in an onion or 6.
  19. What are the rules on employers for situations that Covid will likely present for awhile? Should they notify all people exposed when and employee goes to get tested? What if he/she tested positive? Do you notify everyone in contact? Quarantine them all? Does HIPPA hinder this?
  20. Baker still has MA open, that is giving us hope that they believe that the drug at BMC is working!!! Strong rumors he follows suit and shuts it down though, hope not.
  21. I do feel like media has too much impact and in times like this honest reporting would save lives and money but it’s not happening. After NYC and LA closed everyone in MA was bombarded with the idea that local pols are pushing the govenor to do a stay in place by Monday. So like good folks everyone floods the stores and buys everything they can because they are scared and are being told to be scared. MA is now opening more drive through testing, has a potential cure that is now headed to NY, only two people have died out of 550. One was 87 the other was 58 and sick already. I have friends and family who are high risk and friends who work in healthcare, there is already plenty of fear. I’m scared to visit my own mother. I wish the outlets would up their standards during times like this instead of seizing on us when we are vulnerable. They aren’t to blame for this but they could help ease the pain and sadness instead of feasting on us. Everyone thought that for sure that MA would follow suit because that’s what we were told. Now it’s just more confusion and it’s not right. Here we are heading to another week of being tugged in twenty directions while trying to keep our loved ones safe.
  22. I don’t know the details but this is the stuff that they are using at Boston Medical Center on any and every patient suspected or tested for Corona. 2 deaths so far and I think 500+ plus positive tests. That’s a good sign. With more drive through testing opening today Baker is still facing pressure to issue the “stay at home” but I don’t know that it’s even necessary. I don’t know many people that are still working just healthcare, delivery drivers and food supply. Total opposite of the Marathon when people hated the response, everyone seems more panicked and alarmed than even then. I feel for the people that have to go out and work with this uncertainty. Being temporality laid off is good for your mental health, just have to tune out some of the coverage and enjoy the time off. Being worried sick is a real thing.
