  2. Hurricane Michael Forecast to Intensify and Bring a Dangerous Threat of Storm Surge, Damaging Winds to Florida's Panhandle https://weather.com/storms/hurricane/news/2018-10-08-hurricane-michael-forecast-gulf-coast-florida At a Glance Michael is forecast to intensify as it tracks into the Gulf of Mexico. Michael will threaten the northeastern Gulf Coast by Wednesday, potentially as a major hurricane. Storm surge, damaging winds and heavy rain are likely impacts along the northeastern Gulf Coast. Hurricane watches and storm surge watches have been issued along Florida's Panhandle. Heavy rain and strong winds will spread farther inland across parts of the Southeast after landfall. Hurricane Michael will continue to intensify and is forecast to strike Florida's Panhandle as a Category 3 with dangerous storm surge flooding, destructive winds and flooding rainfall. Michael will also bring heavy rain and strong winds to other parts of the Southeast after it moves inland. Michael is currently centered about 20 miles southwest of the western tip of Cuba and is moving north. I'm sitting right in it's path. with the water being so warm in the gulf this should intensify quite a bit in the next 48 hrs. hunker down
  3. t h e y W O N t h e G A M E ! !
  4. I think he may end up being better than schmidt. yesterday was a miscommunication, it happens. so far this season... Career NFL statistics as of Week 5, 2018 Punts: 31 Punt yards: 1,402 Punt average: 45.2 Inside 20: 15 Longest punt: 59 Player stats at NFL.com
  5. absolutely, he sounds as ridiculous as the OP.
  6. those that think that, are narrow minded.
  7. also to the kids credit regardless of how little the offense did yesterday it was allen who scored the only touchdown and then went on to lead the team down the field to be in range for haus money to be able to kick the winning field goal. his first 4th qtr comeback for the win!
  8. he can develop while winning and losing. whether the win is ugly, it's a win win as he still can learn and develop from it just the same as an ugly or even close loss. all is in his favor to remain on the field, take his lumps and continue to develop. although it seems with a very poor cast around (why is KB still on this team?) him his development has not looked as good as some the other rookies who some continue to drool over but he seems to have the potential and I expect next season to be much better for him and the team as a whole.
  9. yeah, a rookie after his third start sure does look a lot like a 7 year vet. thing is, once allen gets the supporting cast around him and plays 7 years the OP can look back on how dumb of a comparison he used here.
  10. it's self explanatory when it comes to your posts/opinions.
  11. so, after a win. you felt the need to come to the board and spew your negativity with bashing the rookie? you're a real swell kid, real swell.
  12. hats off to hughes though. he could of put #8 on his back and instead played safe knowing the risk of a 15 yd penalty, smart. it's up there for sure
  13. where do you come up with this stuff? allen was responsible for the only touchdown today and he did it in gritty fashion. the kid is athletic and has potential to be good once all the pieces surround him. I don't know what some folks were expecting in this 2nd season of the rebuild but if you haven't the patience to see it play out you're either watching the wrong sport or team, or both!
  14. yeah, he's pretty raw but not unexpected so I'm willing to except he's a rookie taking his lumps a long the way. don't think I'd go as far as to say brutal though, last week was brutal..
  15. hey, it could of been you. but, here you are on a message board. enjoy the game.
  16. maybe they should hire you? I know there are several on this board that surprise me with all there know it all football knowledge yet they're merely wasting it all on this board. GM, HC, scouts, all here folks when they could be getting paid for all that knowledge.
  17. https://billswire.usatoday.com/2018/09/22/buffalo-bills-minnesota-vikings-experts-picks-expert/ The Buffalo Bills (0-2) haven’t given them much reason to, though. Meanwhile, the Minnesota Vikings (1-0-1) have given them plenty of reasons to. With that in mind and with the Vikings on-deck on Sunday, the Bills are a massive underdog according to the experts as well, per NFL Pickwatch. A whopping 99 percent of experts have picked the Vikes to beat the Bills. There’s only one national guy that’s taking a big plunge and taking Buffalo, Neil Greenberg from the Washington Post. https://thevikingage.com/2018/09/20/nfl-minnesota-vikings-week-3-win-bills/ Picking the Vikings Bleacher Report – Group Consensus: “Gagnon and Davenport believe a Bills team that has been outscored 78-23 this season is in for a blowout loss” Score prediction: Vikings 34, Bills 14 CBS Sports – Pete Prisco: “The Vikings win in a blowout.” Score prediction: Vikings 37, Bills 10 FanSided – Matt Verderame: “the Vikings (1-0-1) are going to lay a fierce beating on the Bills (0-2).” Score prediction: 34-3 NFL.com – Elliot Harrison: “This just looks ugly on paper. And it probably will on the field, too.” Score prediction: Vikings 34, Bills 9 Pioneer Press – Kevin Cusick: “we’d suggest (Vontae Davis) spending the next 14 weeks betting heavily against his old team, laying however many points it takes.” Score prediction: Vikings by 27 Pro Football Talk – Michael David Smith: “This should be the easiest pick on the board. The Bills just aren’t competitive.” Score prediction: Vikings 30, Bills 10 Pro Football Talk – Mike Florio: “While the Bills won’t win, they’ll cover (the spread). Barely.” Score prediction: Vikings 35, Bills 20 Sporting News – David Steele: “At this time, we invite the public to make its own “retire at halftime” jokes. Chances are excellent they’ll be appropriate.”Score prediction: Vikings 38, Bills 16 CBS Sports – Jason LaCanfora, Will Brinson, Jared Dubin, Ryan Wilson, John Breech, Dave Richard, Jamey Eisenberg ESPN – Bowen, Clay, Golic, Graziano, Kimes, Qerim, Riddick, Siefert, Wickersham, Wingo SBNation – RVB, Stephen White, Geoff Schwartz, Charles McDonald, Adam Stites, Chrisitan D’Andrea, RJ Ochoa USA Today – Jarrett Bell (27-13), Nate Davis (37-0), Mike Jones (35-12), Mike Middlehurst-Schwartz (38-17), Lorenzo Reyes (33-10) This is a game that is easy to pick the Vikings for. Not only are they 17 point favorites during the game, but it has the potential to be ugly early, with the stellar Minnesota defense taking on a rookie in his first start in his first NFL road game. _____________________________________________________________________________________________________________________________ enjoy the game. I stay clear of this joint during a game. the gameday thread can become vile and full of whiners. bad enough you see it all week, no need to see or take part in that romper room thread. GO BILLS!!!
  18. WATCH: Andre Reed on Josh Allen: 'He's showed he's a leader' On Friday, Reed appeared on The Rich Eisen Show and discussed the state of the Bills and their current QB, rookie Josh Allen. While coming off a tough 22-0 loss, Reed told Eisen he saw some good qualities in Allen during Buffalo’s 27-6 win over the Minnesota Vikings in Week 3. “Two weeks ago he showed he’s a leader, he’s got confidence, and they just have to get everyone around him to play better,” Reed said. GO BILLS!!!
  19. whelp, there's another notch in the Beane/McD belt of failure...
  20. no, I would not. time will come not too far down the road where I'll be tired of this world. a world that in the last 25 years or so, has went south to the point that I'd rather see what's happening on the other side...
  21. Bills killer Frank Wycheck would've liked to play in Buffalo Frank Wycheck needs no introduction in these parts. But Bills fans may be surprised to learn that one of their biggest villains harbored a lot of respect for fans in Buffalo. "I'm a blue-collar guy. I'm from Philadelphia, just growing up from humble beginnings, and I just feel like that I'd be a guy that would want to play in Buffalo," Wycheck said of why he congratulated the Bills on making the playoffs last year. "It's the same type of situation, the same type of people that I feel like that I grew up around. I pull for cities and teams like that." . Buffalo Bills vs. Tennessee Titans: Preview, odds, predictions for Week 5 The Tennessee Titans come to town this week and bring one of the best defenses in the NFL through the first month of the season. They sacked Carson Wentz four times and hurried him 12 times in a win last week. Buffalo has been without a consistent running game all season. Star running back LeSean McCoy has yet to eclipse the 100-yard mark... for the season. The Bills secondary is beat up. Safeties Micah Hyde and Rafael Bush are questionable for Sunday and that could mean rookie Siran Neal will make his first start after playing just seven snaps all season. Odds The Bills opened as a +4 1/2-point underdog but have gone u to + 5 1/2, according to Pregame.com How to follow the game The game will be broadcast on CBS at 1 p.m. Sunday. NYUP.com will have you covered on social media during the game and on the website at the final whistle and throughout the rest of Sunday.
