The Green Bay Packers starting quarterback missing practice time during the week seems to be having a pervasive effect on the rest of the team. "He's clearly the guy that probably stirs the drink down there on Hinkle Field," coach Mike McCarthy said, via the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "He's so competitive. Once again, the quarterback position has to bring that to your program. You cannot grow during the week if your quarterbacks aren't bringing it." The lack of chemistry between Rodgers and his receivers was evident in last week's loss to the Washington Redskins. The entire offense just seemed a tad off, whether it was the quarterback uncharacteristically missing throws due to his balky knee or miscommunications with the receivers. The Packers hope the continued missed time doesn't haunt Sunday against a Buffalo Bills defense that just obliterated Green Bay's division rival Minnesota Vikings last week.

ridiculous post. not surprising coming from you.

if I hadn't seen it with my own two eyes, I wouldn't of believed the dominance they displayed against the vikings on their home turf. I went in to the game wanting a win but not believing they would. I know wins wont come easy during this rebuild process and they may/should have a better chance going in to 2019 after another off season/draft than they do now with the lack of talent at WR. so yesterdays win really helped in believing they are on the right track and took the sting out from the previous two weeks. that said, I wont go in to this weeks game feeling they win, I want them to and they might but I also know it wont be any easy task on the road against a much better QB in Rodgers. they really need to win the division/conference games. so far 0-2 in the conference and if they want to make a push in to the post season a loss Sunday wont bother me near as much as division/conference games. one game a time. edit: did not know Rodgers was/is questionable. still, no game is easy but certainly hoping for a W.

what's a fluke win? I'll admit, I didn't expect them to win but what I watched yesterday was no fluke. I saw a well prepared team and a defense that stepped up big time as well as a young rookie QB who looked pretty competent running that offense. no, it was no fluke.

just might be something special coming for this fan base and organization. growing pains are a B word, there will be more to come but today showed some positive signs of this process/rebuild. anyone who even had the thought this team had quit (aside from the coward last week) on McD and the process, look like someone making a $5,000 bet against your own team, foolish.
